"So you really think I'll be accepted here? Everywhere I go it's raining, what kind of guild wants that?" You ask Lisanna who was practically dragging you to the guild.
"Trust me (Y/N)! If anyone can help with your rain problem Fairy Tail can!" Lisanna answers cheerfully.
"I dunno, are you sure about this?"
"Of course, we have our own rain woman who had a problem just like yours. I think she could help you with your curse, Master and Levy could also help you too." She answers.
"If you say so..." Lisanna opened the door and all the talking stopped.
"Hey Lisanna, your back! Hey, who's that, is she a new member?" Elfman asks.
"Do you know where Juvia is? Her mood might be reflecting on the weather again and we don't want her to be upset" Lucy points out.
"Hey, are you going to stay outside or are you actually going to come inside?" A man with metal studs asks.
"Um yeah, just give me a sec" you mumble. Not liking how your the center of attention, you fixed up your umbrella. You put it over your head as you walked in, a small rain cloud followed you, raining cats and dogs.
"Check it out! The rain's clearing up!" Romeo announces. Everyone looks at you again.
"It's just my curse, I'm used to it" you reassure them.
"That's a powerful curse my child, what did you do to receive such a nasty and ill-willed curse?"
"I don't remember, I was only a child at the time, I think I didn't give an old wizard an umbrella when they asked for mine. I told them no and then this happened" you answer, gesturing to the cloud you had above you.
"It follows me everywhere, becoming the whole sky until I go inside, it follows me there too. I think my magic enhanced the curse so it could follow me inside." You explain.
"Yeah, I was thinking maybe Levy, Juvia or perhaps even you could help Master."
"I apologize but this curse is not one I am familiar with and therefore cannot help you"
"Oh, that's ok"
"But I probably can, Juvia could help too, but she's...somewhere, come on over here and we can get started!" A short girl, who you assumed Levy, grins at you. You looked back at Lisanna.
"It's ok, everyone here is very trustworthy, go on" you nodded and went over to Levy's table with two guys.
"Hey Jet, can you run to my apartment real quick and grab these books for me?" Levy handed him a list, Jet saluted.
"You got it Levy! I'll be back in a flash!" He ran off super fast.
"Umm...does he say that often?"
"Too often" Levy groans, looking at a book that she conveniently had with her.
"Do you happen to remember the incantation?"
"No, sorry"
"No need to apologize, you were only a kid. It still wasn't fair that you got cursed like that" Levy reassures you, "whoever that old man was he was probably a real grump. Am I right?"
"Mhm" you nodded.
"I'm back!" Jet ran in with a giant stack of books.
"Perfect! Let's get started"

It was several days since Levy had tried to break your curse and you've been having little progress. You heard this Juvia person had gone on a job and would actually come back today, there was also talk about this Thunder Legion, who also went on a job and should be back a few days later. The doors opened up and there was a young woman with light blue hair standing there.
"Juvia! Over here! We need some help please" Levy calls.
"Hello Levy, who is this? Are you a rainwoman too?" Juvia asks, noticing the cloud above you.
"I..I'm (Y/N), and yes...I am a rainwoman...but I'm a cursed one."
"I see, and you hope my insight on how I broke my rain will help?" Juvia asks.
"Yeah, but since this is a curse, brought by a very experienced mage it might not exactly work" Levy answers.
"Hmm, I'll still try the best I can, it's the least I could do" Juvia answers. You felt touched, no one's ever helped you like this and you barely even knew these people, yet they've tried to help you more than anyone ever could.
"Thank you"
"It's no problem really"

You entered the guild, it's been about a week since Levy has been working on your curse and you were an official member. You were walking over to Levy for your daily try-to-break-the-curse session and you were minding your own business, when you accidentally knocked into someone.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there!" You apologize, it was a giant guy with yellow hair and a fur-lined coat. He must be Laxus you thought. He glared at you, his eyes shifting over to your head where your usual raincloud was.
"Just don't do it again" he growls.
"U...uh yes...of course! It won't happen again, promise!" You panickedly reassured him before running over to your table with Levy.
"That was scary"
"Yeah, that's Laxus for you, but to tell you the truth I think he's changed a lot ever since he came to help us on Tenrou." Levy whispers over to you.
"Hello, how are you today?" Juvia asks, sitting down next to you and Levy.
"Good"
"Normal" you pointed to the rain cloud over your head.
"So is there a reason Laxus is glaring at you across the hall?" Juvia asks.
"Maybe he likes her" Levy nudges your ribs jokingly.
"Ok, even my hopeless romantic self knows that isn't going to happen" you answer.
"Come on (Y/N), don't lose hope, anything's possible in this guild" Levy reassures you.
"Hello Levy, you contacted me earlier about some kind of curse" Freed greets.
"Yeah, (Y/N)'s been cursed for a very long time, do you think you could try some enchantments it could cancel the curse out, maybe." Levy adds as an afterthought.
"Of course, it's my job as a Fairy Tail wizard to help those in need!" Freed declares.
"That's great! Now that the gang's all here we can get started"

You decided to go on a job for once and be a decent human being.
"But (Y/N), what about your curse? Don't you think Levy and the others should try to break it first?" Lisanna asks worriedly.
"It's just a little rain, and I think I should get away from Magnolia for awhile so you guys can enjoy your sunny days again." You respond.
"You aren't a problem if that's what your thinking, so what if it's taking a little longer than it should've? You don't have to go" Lisanna tells you.
"That isn't the only reason, even though I'm a rainwoman I do have to eat, and I am running short on money." You answer.
"That still means you shouldn't go by yourself, you are new to the guild, perhaps a more experienced mage should go with you. Hmmm...Laxus! Why don't you go with (Y/N)?" Makarov asks. Oh god no, he's scary as crap, please no, he looks so intimidating, and it'll be so awkward and-
"Fine" Laxus got off his chair and walked over to you.
"So are you coming?"
"Y...yeah, coming!"

"So where are we supposed to find this thing?" Laxus asks, the two of you were supposed to kill a monster for a reward.
"I don't know, I guess we could look-" you didn't get to finish your sentence because a giant tail swung at you and hit you against the tree.
"I think we found it" you choked out, trying to regain your breath.
"It'll regret that" Laxus remarks, using a lightning dragon roar. Umm, was he talking about finding us or hitting me? Does it matter? Whatever no time to think about that now, I've got to fight you thought, getting to your feet and running towards the creature. Ready to fight.

"Water jigsaw!"
"Lightning Dragon Iron Fist!" The two of you struck at the same time, giving the beast an extra electric shock, that killed it.
"That doesn't usually happen...." Laxus trails off.
"Maybe we just make a good team, water is a good conductor of lightning" you answer, picking up your umbrella.
"Is that so?" Laxus asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Yep" you still had adrenaline in your blood so you weren't as shy as you usually were.
"How do you know?"
"I read it in a book once" you answer, offering your umbrella to Laxus.
"What are you doing? Aren't you going to use that thing?"
"Not at the moment, rain actually helps heal me, and after that fight I think I'll need it."
"Tch, your just weak"
"Yeah, yeah are you going to take the umbrella or not?" Laxus hesitantly took hold of the umbrella, it glowed white.
"W...what's going on?!" You ask scared.
"I don't know, but it looks like we're going to find out" The tip of your umbrella gathered light as it shot into the sky, dispelling the angry clouds.
"Did we...did we just break your curse?" Laxus asks, when you didn't answer he looked over at you. You were looking at the sky, while crying happy tears with a big smile on your face.
"I...I've never seen such a shade of blue before....it's so....beautiful." Laxus did a rare thing and smiled, looking at the sky too.
"Yeah, I guess it is" he answers.

Your mood was as sunny as the day, on the way back to the Magnolia through the trainstation you happily hummed and tapped your finger to a random beat as you read your book. Laxus leaning on your shoulder because of motion sickness.
"Can I ask you something?" Laxus asks.
"Yeah, what's up?"
"Was that your first time seeing a sunny sky?" He caught himself from throwing up by putting a hand over his mouth. He looked at you with a 'just because I can't talk doesn't mean you can't answer my question' kind of look.
"I've only seen sunny skies when I was a young girl, and then after the curse I only dreamed about them. I never thought I would see another sunny day again." You answer, he nodded before leaning on you again. When you got to your stop you had to help Laxus off the train, he had to sit on the bench for a while to recover before you guys could head over to the guild.
"Guess who broke their curse!?" You shout, screw shyness you were so high on happiness that you completely forgot about being shy.
"Seriously?! That's great, what happened on the job?" Levy asks, your girlfriends surrounding you.
"I shared my umbrella with Laxus after a fight. It got absorbed in this white light before dispelling the storms, the sky is so blue it's so beautiful!" You answer excitedly.
"Come on that's it? You've got to tell us more girl!" Levy grins, dragging you to a table where you could tell your friends everything that happened on your job.

You and Laxus got closer since that job, it was obvious he had a small soft spot for you. Even you knew, if you didn't quite understand why. Sure you've been happier since the rain left and you're attire consisted of more summery clothes, you guessed it was because you went on jobs very often because you both gave each other a power up advantage. With the water and electricity mixed, you two were the perfect pair, and everyone shipped you. Hell, even Freed shipped you guys together.
"Hey (Y/N)?"
"Hmm?"
"Meet me at 7 by the Great Sola Tree, I want to show you something" Laxus whispers over to you before leaving the guild. Your friends then dragged you off.
"Levy your hair, Juvia makeup, I'll do clothes" Lisanna directs when you got to your apartment.
"Uhh, what?"
"Laxus asked you on a date and we need to get you ready"
"But it's only 4, he doesn't want me to meet him until 7, I can do stuff for another hour or two" you sweatdrop.
"No, we've only got three hours, you have to look perfect for your date with Laxus"
"What if it isn't a date though? What if he just found a new book at the bookstore that I might like?" You ask.
"What it it's something super romantic, it's ok though, we're going to aim a little more casual, right girls?"
"Right!" Levy and Juvia shout as they prepped, you cried fake anime tears wondering what the hell you just got yourself into.

You got your hair lightly curled and put into a beanie (which you fought tooth and claw to let your friends wear), a white shirt, blue polka dot skirt with suspenders, a jean jacket, knee high socks and mary janes.
"Hey Laxus" you greet, "I didn't keep you waiting too long did I?" You ask with a slight worry, Laxus did a double take and looked you over, not in a creepy way of course, just to make sure it was really you.
"N..no, not at all, come on. What I want to show you is this way." He led you to a willow tree that overlooked the ocean. There was a small picnic basket filled with your favorite foods and a picnic blanket, but there was also a blanket neatly folded that you assumed was for later.
"What's this for?" You ask.
"Um...you love the sun during the day so I thought you might like the sunset and the night sky. There's also another surprise at the end." Laxus answers with slightly pink cheeks.
"Sounds great, so are we going to sit down?" You ask jokingly.
"Y...yeah, duh, I was just waiting for you to sit down first" he answers.
"Alright" you sat down. "What now?"
"Just..watch the sky" Laxus answers, not in a mean way, but more of a hesitant one. You watched it, wondering what Laxus was talking about, after a bit *and some of your favorite food later) you saw it. The pink, the soft yellow, the orange, it lit up the sky.
"Laxus do you see this!?" You grab his arm excitedly before your face fell, "is the world going to end?! Because that would be really bad" you feared.
"N...no, it's just a sunset...they happen every night. The sun goes down and the stars come out" he answers.
"Well I think sunsets are the most beautiful thing ever, what do you think is the most beautiful?" You ask, looking up at him. Laxus smiled down at you warmly.
"You." A few seconds went by and your face turned a million shades of red, Laxus turned his head away, concealing his own blush with his hand. Damn it, I meant to say sunsets, why the hell did that come out instead?! Laxus thought angrily, cursing himself for making that mistake.
"Laxus...do you really think that?" You squeak, Laxus looked over at you and he had to do everything in his power to not have a nosebleed at how cute you looked.
"Y...yeah" he answers.
"Aww that's so sweet!" You grinned, hugging his torso, his breath hitched. You were so close to him, you were never this close physically before. He hesitantly put his arm around you, unsure if it was the right move. A breeze blew past and ruffled your hair slightly, making some go on your face, he brushed it away and let his hand linger there.
"Laxus? Is something wrong?" You looked up and Laxus decided it was finally time to man up, he leaned in for a kiss, stopping only a few centimeters.
"This was the surprise. I love you" he whispers, his voice slightly husky.
"I love you too" you whispered back, with that he wrapped his arms around you and placed his lips upon yours. It was sweet, but also passionate, he ran his fingers through your hair as you moaned slightly. As revenge you decided to run your fingers through his hair. He pulled you closer to his body, but thanks to a thing called air you had to pull away. Laxus' eyes were half-lidded and he was panting slightly trying to get his breath back.
"Well that escalated quickly" you breathlessly comment. Laxus' mouth curved into a smirk.
"You know, we could-"
"Cuddle? Because that's the only thing I can see you suggesting right now" you answer, purposefully cutting him off.
"Yeah, cuddling sounds nice" Laxus answers, before you could protest he put you in his lap and wrapped his arms around you. Resting his chin on your head. You cuddled into his chest as you both watched the sunset sink and the stars arrive.

It was the night before the Grand Magic Games, you and Laxus decided to walk around. Or, well more like you forced him to come with you. You hummed happily looking at all the flowers, Laxus following you with his arms crossed with a bored expression, though there was a ghost of a smile on his face at seeing how happy you were.
"Wow, that fountain's pretty cool huh Laxus?" You ask, pointing to it.
"Yeah, I guess, but it would look better with you in it!" He grinned and picked you up and pretended to throw you into the fountain as you laughed, begging him between giggles to let you go. He put you down on your feet, keeping his hands on your waist as he placed a quick kiss on your lips.
"Cute" he comments at your blushing face, you had no problem with kisses when you two were alone, but in public you didn't want to be too obnoxious about it like most couples were. Like hand holding and small kisses on your or his forehead were ok, but kissing in public still made your shy side come out. You just buried your face in his chest, he chuckled and shifted you into a side hug. Of course calling you cute didn't help your shyness.
"Hey, how does some ice cream sound?" You nodded, he sat you down on a bench.
"Wait here, you want (f/f) right?"
"Y...yes please" you answer.
"Alright, I'll be back soon with the ice cream" you nodded and Laxus went to a nearby ice cream stand.
"Hey there~" You recognized the mystery guy who was currently flirting with you. It was Hibiki from Blue Pegasus, you scooched away from him because he was too close to you for your liking. Only Laxus was allowed to get that close.
"Um...hi..." you mumble, seeing if Laxus was watching this go on, but it looks like Gajeel was getting some ice cream too so they were talking. When did those two start getting along? You thought with some slight surprise. Wait, if Gajeel is here then Levy might be able to help me! You thought happily.
"So your a shy one huh? They always say that the shy ones are the cutest" Hibiki flirts. You tried to find Levy but you couldn't.
"Heeeeyyyy (Y/N), who's this?" It was Cana, who was obviously drunk off her rocker, you sent her a 'help me' look and she immediately understood.
"Handsome, you better leave before her boyfriend sees you flirting with his girl" she tells Hibiki sternly, "and can't you see she's getting uncomfortable with your flirting?" She adds.
"Well whoever her boyfriend is I'm sure I'm much better boyfriend material than he is"
"Is that so?" Hibiki jumped and saw Laxus towering over him, he began shaking with the glare Laxus gave him.
"Told you" Cana smirked in triumph.
"Your sitting in my spot" that made Hibiki run away.
"I better leave too, I'm starting to run out of booze anyway" Cana dismissed herself.
"Are you ok? Did he touch you?" Laxus asks.
"No, but he did get pretty close to me" you answer as Laxus sat down, he went to go get back up but you stopped him by putting your hand on his thigh, not in a suggestive way though.
"That doesn't matter anymore, your here and I think he knows to stay away from me now, besides we wouldn't want that ice cream go to waste do you?" You ask.
"Fine, here's your ice cream" Laxus handed you your ice cream and draped his arm around you. You just enjoyed the moment with Laxus.
"Hey Laxus?"
"Hm?"
"Do you think we can do it? Beat Sabertooth I mean, I've met some of their wizards before and they're definitely really strong. I don't know if we have the strength to beat them." You answer.
"We'll beat them and win the games, you haven't seen Natsu when he gets all fired up yet" Laxus reassures you.
"Ok, I trust you. Let's beat those Saberjerks!" You grinned.

"Umm (Y/N), you might want to see this" Levy poked your shoulder.
"Hmm?" You hummed, looking over at the stadium before flipping your crap.
"Laxus! Your in the Games!? Why didn't you tell me?!" You shout from your balcony. He just shrugged his shoulders.
"Dude! We had a date last night! You could've told me then!" You shout.
"Sorry (Y/N), but Master Makarov wanted us to keep it a secret!" Juvia calls.
"Juvia!? You too?! Aww man, just be safe you guys!"
"We will!" Juvia waves, Laxus just smirks and waves before he goes to join his team. He sees Alexi looked at him before looking at you on the balcony. Laxus glared at him, determined not to let this creep from his father's guild touch you.
-Timeskip to the third day-
"Man, Laxus is going to fight Alexi, I hope Laxus'll be ok" Levy comments, feeling genuinely concerned for your boyfriend and you were too. The fight started and you watched Laxus getting pummeled by Alexi.
"Come on Laxus you've got to fight back! You can win this!" You shout down, "I believe in you!" Laxus finally got to land in a few attacks, but Alexi wasn't letting up. You felt a tap on your shoulder and turned around, you were whisked away with a concerned illusion replacing you. You tried to struggle and use your magic against your captor, but you found you couldn't.
"Shh, the more you struggle the more it makes me want to play" it was Kurohebi. Raven Tail!? But why can't I use my magic?! You looked down at the stadium and saw Laxus talking with Alexi. You tried to fight harder but Kurohebi stomped on your ankle, causing you to feel dizzy and faint as he tied you up, you tried to struggle still but you felt weaker, they must have someone who drains magic power, it must be the same dude who attacked Wendy, and the one who kept Lucy from using her spell. You thought. Kurohebi put duct-tape over your mouth and picked you up with little to no effort, jumping down from the stadium and using a sand tornado to bring you down to where Laxus was.
"Come on boy, just tell us where the Lumen Histoire is, you don't want things to get ugly do you?" Alexi asks. Laxus didn't see you because you were in the pile of sand Kurohebi used to get back down to the arena.
"Bring it on, I can take whatever you dish out" Laxus responds. Alexi chuckled darkly while stroking his beard.
"I know you can, but I'm not so sure about your girlfriend here" Alexi snapped his fingers and Kurohebi released you from you sand prison. Laxus' face softened when he saw how scared you were before hardening once again in Alexi's direction.
"You let her go right now"
"I'm the one making the demands here boy, though I have to say, you have good taste. It would be a shame if something happened to her pretty face" Alexi grinned, picking you up by your hair. You try to shriek but your mouth was covered by duct tape.
"I already told you I don't know anything, Gramps never told me this crap" Laxus answers.
"I don't know if I believe you, what do you think?" You just glared at him with the most hateful expression you could muster. Alexi let you go and you fell on the ground with a thump. You were pretty sure your forearm was broken, or at least sprained now. Before you even knew it Laxus flew past you and took down Kurohebi and blew back Alexi, he ripped off the duct tape from your mouth.
"You ok?" You shook your head.
"Don't focus on me right now, focus on defeating these jerks" you answer, he nods and defended you from the Raven Tail members, when he defeated Alexi the illusion broke and the crowd was amazed.
"What is this!? Raven Tail attacked Laxus Dreyar all at once! And kidnapped one of Fairy Tail's members!" Chapati announces. Laxus didn't pay attention to the announcement and ran over to you.
"Are you ok?"
"I think I landed on my wrist weird when Alexi dropped me, and earlier Kurohebi stomped on my ankle really hard, I don't think I can walk." You told Laxus as he untied you from the rope. He didn't even let you try to help, he just picked you up bridal style and left the stadium. He held you tight, not tight enough to hurt but tight enough to let you know that he loved you. Laxus had this very focused look on his face as he took you to the infirmary.
"Laxus?"
"Hm? What is it?" Laxus asks.
"I umm, wanted to apologize...for letting myself get caught like that. You would've kicked their asses much quicker if it wasn't for me." You apologized, Laxus held you tighter.
"It's not like you tried to get caught, and they paid for it, but I still think they need me to beat their asses a few more times." Laxus grumbles, somehow opening the door to the infirmary.
"What happened to you (Y/N)!? You aren't even on any of the teams!" Bickslow shouts, alerting everyone that you were there.
"Raven Tail kidnapped her" Laxus answers.
"Put her there, and shoo, I need to examine her wounds" Porlyusica told him, he leaned on the bed next to you.
"No way, I'm staying here" Laxus crossed his arms.
"Dreyar men, always so stubborn" Porlyusica muttered while shaking her head. She patched up what she could and made you stay in the infirmary the whole day. Laxus came to visit when he could, bringing you snacks and kisses on the forehead. Wendy came down slightly injured but happier than ever.
"Hey (Y/N), are you ok?"
"Well Mrs. Porlyusica isn't going to let me leave until you use your healing magic on me, if you can of course."
"Yeah! Sheila healed me and restored my healing magic, it's no problem at all" Wendy answers.
"That's great, thanks a lot fam!"
"No problem (Y/N), really, I'm just glad it wasn't worse" Wendy comments.
"Yeah, me too" you answer.

When Wendy finished healing you, Porlyusica cleared you but told you to use a crutch so you could put as little weight as possible on it and she wanted you to come in tomorrow so she could take a look. She also wanted you to put plenty of ice on it, if you were going to be sitting for long periods of time.
"Where do you think your going?" Laxus asks you.
"Oh hey Laxus! Porlyusica cleared me so I'm heading back to my room with the others" you answer happily with a grin.
"Nope, you're going with me" Laxus tells you. Bringing you to his room, it was a single bed room, but you were still kinda jealous he got his own room. He put you on his bed and put an ice pack that he got, somewhere, on your hurt ankle.
"Are you sure your ok?"
"Yes Laxus, it just aches a little bit, it's sweet that you care though" you joke, giving a peck over his lightning scar.
"I just want to make sure your alright, I don't like that my relationship with you puts you in danger and you end up getting hurt like this" Laxus confesses.
"Oh Laxus, they just got the jump on me, we make a great team remember?" You remind him, cupping his cheek, he leaned into your touch and put his hand over your own.
"I know, but I can't help but worry about you. Your the first person who's ever made me ever feel this way before. I don't want to lose you" he kissed your palm gently.
"I don't want to lose you either, I was so scared that Raven Tail would hurt you"
"You shouldn't have worried"
"But I did, I guess we both worry about each other huh?" You ask.
"Yeah..let's get some sleep" Laxus pulled you close, minding your ankle as he cuddled with you. You didn't realize how tired you were until that moment and fell asleep almost immediately.
-Timeskip to Battle Royale-
You watched the screen worriedly. Mrs. Porlyusica cleared you to watch the Games and do nothing else, which you were fine with, but right now you were worried for Laxus. He was fighting Jurra, who took down Orga in one shot.
"Are you ok (Y/N)?" Mavis asks, but you didn't hear her, your eyes glued to the screen where Laxus was fighting with Jurra.
"She...she can see me right?" Mavis asks.
"Yeah, she's just worried about her boyfriend, but who could blame her. He is fighting a freakin' Wizard Saint" Levy answers.
"Wait!? Laxus and (Y/N) are dating?! Why didn't anyone tell me!" Mavis shouts in disbelief.
"I mean it's kind of obvious, you did see how he was yesterday when Raven Tail kidnapped her." Macao answers.
"Yeah, but I thought he just really cared for her. Nobody told me they were dating" Mavis cries.
"My girl is watching this, and I made a promise to her. That Fairy Tail would win this!" Laxus shouts, delivering the final blow. You teared up.
"He did it, he actually beat him, yeah!" You cheered happily, hugging Lisanna to death.
"Can't breathe...losing oxygen..." Lisanna manages out. You let go of her,
"Sorry" you apologize with a sheepish smile.
"No I get it, we're so close to getting our title back as strongest guild in Fiore, it makes sense to be excited, but you and Laxus do make a cute couple" Lisanna comments, "I can hear the wedding bells already!" Lisanna grins.
"Shut up, we've only been dating for a couple of months, it's still early" you answer with a red face.
"Don't be so modest, you guys are total soulmates"
"I think Mirajane 2 is starting to evolve" you whisper to Levy, she nods.
"But instead of terror she coats everything with an uncomfortable amount of sweetness" Levy answers back.
"Guys! I'm right here!" Lisanna shouts in protest.
"Relax Lis, we're just teasing you, though speaking of teasing and guys. When are you and Gajeel gonna become a thing?" You ask Levy, she buried her face in her hands in embarrassment.
"Guuuuyyyyysssss" she groans.
"What? You do like him don't you?"
"Yeah"
"Then go for it" you answer. Levy nodded, but her face was still beet red.
-Timeskip to the Dragons attacking-
"(Y/N)! I'm going to stay here and help Wendy! You go take care of the giant bonfire!" Laxus tells you.
"No way! I'm not leaving you here by yourself!" You shout. Laxus runs up to you and gives you a big bear hug.
"I'm not alone, I got Wendy and the others to back me up. When we get out of this, I have a surprise for you." Laxus whispers in your ear, you cried and nodded. Hugging him back, he gave you a chaste, but passionate kiss before going to attack the dragon Zirconis. You ran to go find the fire dragon Laxus was talking about.
-Timeskip-
You and Laxus met up again.
"Atlas Flame is with us now, what happened with you?"
"Zirconis flew into the sky, Mira and Wendy are taking care of him"
"Where should we go-" One of the dragonlings came up and shot straight through you and Laxus, you immediately died while Laxus was still holding on, but just barely. He crawled over to you.
"(Y/N)..." were the last words to leave his mouth.
The two of you looked around.
"What just happened?" You ask.
"(Y/N)! Get down!" He pushed you to the ground and used a lightning dragon roar on the dragonling that was about to kill you. He looked back at you, and you nodded, you guys began to run. Deciding to find another dragon to fight.
-Timeskip (last one I promise...maybe)-
You walked in with your friends, since you didn't see Laxus after the dragon's went back because you needed to be healed and then dressed for the ball. When you entered you looked around for Laxus, seeing him across the ballroom. He was looking for you and his jaw literally dropped when he saw you.
"Wow, you look....amazing" you smiled up at him.
"You look quite handsome yourself" you answer.
"Do you um...do you want to dance?" Laxus asks.
"I would love to" Laxus held out his arm and you locked arms with him as he guided you to the dance floor. The two of you just swayed to the music, enjoying each other's company.
"Laxus?"
"Hm?"
"Did you see that too? The vision?" Laxus nodded.
"Yeah, I'm glad you aren't hurt, for real" Laxus' hand went to behind your back. Right where the dragonling shot you. You just nodded your head.
"So, um....you had a surprise to show me?" You asked, trying to brighten the mood.
"I did, after this dance I'll show you" he answers. The two of you fell into a comfortable silence again, your friends commenting every now and then on how cute you two were. Once the dance ended Laxus brought you to the gardens.
"Laxus? Are you ok, you've been silent for awhile now" you comment.
"Close your eyes" Laxus spoke.
"Ok..." you closed your eyes and heard Laxus move in front of you.
"You can open them now" you opened your eyes and saw Laxus on one knee holding a ring.
"(Y/N), I know it's too soon to ask to marry you, so I was hoping that perhaps you would accept this promise ring. So someday soon, when we're both ready, I would get the honor of seeing you walking the aisle in white and make me the happiest man alive." Laxus spoke, his eyes hopeful. You nodded, too emotional to speak.
"So I'll take that as a yes?" Laxus asks gently taking your hand in his and slipping on the ring.
"Yes, of course" you hugged Laxus and he spun you around before putting you back on your feet, giving you a sweet kiss in the light of the moon.
"This is the best surprise ever" you grin.
