"I trusted you."
"Well, you can't really blame me, can you? It was your mistake."
Reid stared out the window of Round Table room. "Spence, you okay?" JJ questioned the young genius. "Yeah, I just can't think of why we need her help."
"We need her help because she is a killer." Emily deadpanned. Garcia whimpered slightly as the mentioning of your deeds. "I'm going back to my lair and cyberspace." The tech told the room, "Luke go with her." Garcia turned around to protest. "We go nowhere alone. I don't want her getting in our heads." Emily stated. "I'll go with her." JJ offered. Garcia took her hand and walked away dragging the blonde agent with her. "Matt, you and Tara go to the ME's office, I'll stay here with David and discuss victimology. Spencer, you and Luke watch Y/N."
You sat picking at your nails, your hands cuffed to the table in front of you. You hid a cough behind your hand. Luke scanned the man beside him. "You loved her." Reid nodded. His eyes fogging over with the memories before all this had happened. "We need something that will get her off balance, something that will give us an advantage." Emily entered the room with Dave at her side. "We have something."
"Years ago, when Y/N was a teenager her mother was killed by her father. Her father was then found dead with a gunshot wound to his temple, police thought it was suicide so they closed the case."
"You disagree?" Luke questioned, Emily nodded. "This is her father." She handed over a photograph with a middle-aged man glaring out at them. "Brown eyes, and freckles." Reid muttered. "What?" Emily asked confused. Reid almost ran off, the others following. He arrived at the Round Table room, where Tara, Matt, JJ and Garcia were sitting or standing discussing victimology. "Pull up Y/N's victims." Reid rushed. "What is it Reid?" JJ's brow furrowed as she searched to find the answers he had already arrived at. "Look at them, look at what they had in common. Now look at her father."
"Brown eyes, freckles." Matt whispered. "Exactly, look at her mother; blue eyes, blonde hair. Look at Y/N, blonde and blue eyes."
"She's killing her father over and over."
"I don't think it's just that, she crossed the genders. She's killed them not just because they remind her of her father. I think her father took away the one person in the world she could connect with, the one person who helped her understand emotions. I also think she killed him out of revenge."
"Why did she kill others then?" Garcia asked. "She's killing the person who took away her connection the world, the person who made her feel complete."
"And how does this help us?" Dave questioned the elephant in the room. "Our UNSUB has the same problem, someone took away our UNSUBs connection to the world. She knows who the UNSUB is they have been sending her letters." Emily deduced. "Now all we have to do is get her to tell us who they are." Dave monotoned. "That's going to be hard." Tara quipped, "Sociopaths like to keep control of the situation. "She'll talk to me." Reid answered. "No." Emily overruled the decision. "She will just try and get in your head, and I don't want that."
"Emily, she will misstep and make a mistake, I won't let her get in my head." She took a breath in, debating her options, she knew that if he went in, you would get in his head. But if she didn't you would make a mistake and the UNSUB would get away. "Alright. Dave, Matt, JJ stay here and profile the UNSUB, try and find him. Tara, Luke and I will be watching the interrogation." They moved off.
Reid took a breath, and entered the room. "Spencer! Long time, no see. How are you? Sleeping okay?" Your cheery voice filled the room despite a cough making its way through your sentence. He didn't flinch or smile. "A UNSUB is contacting you and you know who they are." You grinned and placed a hand on your collarbone in an artistic form from of shock, "And the BAU needs little old me to help them in the search of someone who is attempting to destroy society as we know it." You ended it in a mocking tone before your face fell back into its deadpan expression. "We need his name."
"What are you trading it for? Or so wittle genius can understand; what's. In. It. For. Me?" You tone went from serious to mocking back to serious with a slight almost invisible flicker. You hacked another cough. Reid clenched his hands under the table before stretching them back out. "Information."
"On what?" You questioned suspiciously. "Your mother's death." You straightened in your seat. "My father killed my mother."
"And you killed your father."
"My father killed himself." Once again you coughed. Reid's brow furrowed but ultimately ignored it.
"No, you killed your father and made it look like a suicide. You killed him because he killed your mother he took away your only connection the world and you killed others because to you. You were killing the oppressive nature of emotion that reminded you of your mother. You killed others because your father took away the only person who mattered in this world. Just like this UNSUB is doing he is killing women who help connect those who cannot speak for themselves to the world. Help us stop him." His speech was followed by deafening silence as your eyes widened, and you would deny this ever happened your eyes watered. You took in a shaky breath, "Page 157 of my favourite book is a piece of paper with his address, the book is under my pillow." Reid stood and moved to the door.
"You win." You managed to mutter. Reid turned to face you. "What do you mean?"
"You win." You coughed, feeling blood speck your lips. Reid's eyes zeroed in on it. "What did you do?" He rushed forward, placing his hands on your face, fingers lingering on your lips. He felt your forehead, your temperature was high. "I didn't do anything. He poisoned me, because I refused to help him kill the team. Everyone's eyes widened. "I may have killed, but I do care about others." You spasmed and Reid uncuffed you. You coughed again and Luke rushed into the room. "Medics will be here in three minutes."
"And I'll be dead by then." You coughed, blood lacing your lips. Reid brushed the hair falling in your face away. You grinned, "Sociopath's do have feelings." You hacked another cough before convulsing and after Reid had lowered you to the floor. Your breathing had lessened, and you spasmed once again the poison making its way through your system. Your breathing began to slow and Reid watched in horror as your breaths stopped and you lay still.
