You knew Peter was Spider-Man it wasn't hard to figure out. Now all you had to do was tell him. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. Each time you tried to bring it up Ned or Peter would change the subject. Which meant Ned knew too. That was unfair to you that he had told Ned or at least confirmed it with Ned and not you.
Knocking on the door to Peter's place you took a deep breath, you were going to tell him that you knew. May opened the door. "Y/N! How lovely to see you, Peter's just popped out to grab some milk he'll be home soon. Come in."
"Thanks Aunt May. How have you been?"
"Good, love. Yourself?"
"Yeah, good. Stressed about exams."
"Oh, I remember those. Go set up in Peter's room while you wait I'm sure he wouldn't mind."
"Thanks Aunt May." Moving off you opened Peter's bedroom door. Noting the usual mess. You spread out your books and notes on his bed not wanting to mess with the equipment on his desk. About five minutes later you heard the front door open through the sounds of your music in your ears. Then a few moments later the bedroom door opened and closed. Pulling your headphones out you switched off your music. "Y/N, hey. What are you doing here?"
"You were going to help me with my science homework."
"Oh. Umm. Yeah."
"I can go?"
"NO!" Damn he didn't mean to shout. "I mean no it's fine." You smiled at him.
After you had finished your homework. You lay on Peter's bed twisting the cover between your fingers as he worked on something that was on his desk. "I know you're Spider-Man." Ok you didn't want it to come out that way.
"Me. Spider-Man. No." Peter scoffed. You looked over at him, he was blushing and wouldn't meet your eyes. "I saw you, we'll Spider-Man climb into your window." Here you gestured to the window, Peter's eyes following your hand. "And I saw you climb out without your mask on. I'm not mad that you didn't tell me, I understand why." Peter looked relieved. He stood running his fingers through his hair. "I'm sorry." You smiled looking him. He maintained your gaze. "Don't be." He moved and sat on the bed by your torso. His fingers lightly brushed a piece of hair off your face. "Will you go out with me Y/N?"
"Since when is Peter Parker filled with such confidence?"
"Since I met you. That a yes?" You sit up moving your body closer to his. One of his hands gently gripped your hip stopping you from falling of the bed. The other slid to your hair brushing pieces back behind your ear. "Yes. I'll go out with you." He leaned forwards, brushing his nose with yours. "Really?"
"There's the sweet but shy Peter Parker I fell for." He smiled at you, turning head slightly and leaning in so your foreheads touched. "You fell for me?" You nodded your eyes following his lips. "Good. Because I fell for you." He turned his head and allowed his lips to meet yours. The kiss was everything Peter was. Soft, sweet with underlying notes of confidence.
"Hey! Who wants to finish the Death Star? Oh. My. God." The door flew open followed by Ned. The surprise made Peter jump back and fall onto the floor. You flinched and blushed bright red. Staring at Ned you both held your breath to see what his reaction would be. "Want to finish the Death Star?"
