"Your essays are due next week. 5 pages minimum please. You're dismissed."
I sigh and take my phone looking at the time 10am. Great
No texts from Justin though. Less great..?
I stand up gathering my bags heading to the door but not only I get stopped by my professor- Mr Midas
"Holly-May." He stops me
I turn around quickly and smile, "Oh, good morning Mr Midas."
"Morning, your essay that you didn't hand in last week, you said you would email it to me at least on Monday... but I didn't get that email, why is that?"
I mentally smack my forehead. Fuck I was on my period...with Justin
"I'm so sorry professor I totally forgot it's just that-"
"Is everything okay at home?"
"What?"
"I feel like you get distracted at your home. Do you have your own apartment?"
"No-"
"You still live with your parents?"
"Yeah, well no- they travel most of the time so I usually go stay at Justin's most of the time or I go to my friend Charlottes place." I explain
"Who's Justin ?"
"Oh um, Justin is .... my, boyfriend."
He raises an eyebrow, "Well I suggest you get a place of your own because it seems that Justin is not a help on your studies, you get distracted when you live with people..and I don't want to give you an F for that essay so I hope you email it to me by tonight Miss Hamilton."
I sigh, "Got it, I won't let you down this time Mr Midas."
"I hope so. I also hope you take my advice, I don't mean to be rude or anything thing but, I feel Justin is a distraction."
Justin... is a distraction?
"I totally understand what you're saying," I lie, "and I will try get my own place, thanks Mr Midas."
"Sure." He replies and then I head to the door and leave.
First thing I have in mind is a coffee shop. I need to actually email that essay now before I forget.
It takes me like 5 minutes to walk to a coffee shop that was in campus. I order some tea and just sit at a table taking out my computer getting this email done. Minutes later I get my tea and I get to finish emailing this essay.
"Well well well, Holly fucking Hamilton."
I look up
What does Mac want from me now?
"You go to UCLA?" Was the first thing I asked him
"You went to college?" He back fires
"Yeah I did, and I'm actually busy so bye Mac."
"Don't be like that, I haven't seen you since last year."
"Okay? So?" I say eyes still focused on the computer
"Let's catch up, I have a few minutes." He say taking a seat opposite me
I raise my eyebrow at him taking my eyes off the computer, "catch up?"
"Yeah that's what I just said."
I roll my eyes, "how's Chloe." I ask him hoping he'd answer with a 'not great' cause damn I DISKLIKED that girl
He shrugged instead
"How's her baby, does she know the baby daddy?" I ask
"Geez Hol I don't know, why you even asking me about her."
"I don't know, now I have to go." I say standing up packing up my things
"So soon?" He says looking up at me with a pout
That's not going to work on me Mac doofus.... it only works when Justin does it
I laugh, "now you're choosing me?"
He scrunches up his face, confused, "what's that supposed to mean?"
I take a sharp breath, clenching my jaw and then look down at him once more, "Let me give you one life advice. Don't choose the hoe that will most likely get pregnant with someone else's child, because look where that got you now." I say giving him a nod and then walk out the without response
"And look where that got you. Clinging with Bieber."
I laugh, "Don't get jealous, he's better than you."
"Yeah he's better than me because he has money."
Okay why would he say that?
I give him a dirty look, "choke on dick."
"I should be saying that to you, since you do it all the time. Remember when you sucked Jake T's at school?"
"Oh my fuck! That was a rumor your bitch Chloe spread."
He laughs and wiggles his eyebrows with sarcasm, "Hm, sure."
"Whatever, I don't need to listen you anyways, you always thought you were so big thinking you can get you get girls, where they at? are you serious?"
"I don't need to have this conversation with you right now." He says
"Neither do I so goodbye scumbag." I say then immediately walk away
I just needed to tell him that. I am so frustrated right I'm not saying if he didn't do that he'd be with me because damn hell nah I'd never get with a fuckboy but he just needs to get taught a lesson because he's dumb as a stupid donkey.
*when she arrives home*
I finally make it home and the first thing I check is if my parents are still home. I have a feeling someone is here but I don't see anyone? Whatever they're gone - I love having the house all to myself anyways.. as I was about to decide to watch some Netflix on the tv
I see Justin watching TV in my house..? OKAY HOW DO YOU GET INTO MY HOUSE BIH, I KNEW SOMEONE WAS HERE
I walk to the TV and turn it off.
"Um did I do something wrong?" He pouts
"no, I'm sorry. I'm just curious how you even got into my house, and this person was annoying the shit out of me."
"You gave me an extra key like 2 months ago," he explains, "What happened?" He changes the subject
"Just this boy." I sigh rolling my eyes at the thought of him
"Boy? Who must I kill this time?"
I chuckle walking over to the couch and sit next to him
"There you go, there's that laugh."
"Oh god, you really know how to cheer my mood." I say, finally calm
"I don't want you to have a shitty day. Anyways are you finished, with class for the day?"
"Yeah actually."
"Come visit me."
"Now?" I say looking at him
"Yeah." He nods
"I think not."
"Why not?" He asks
"Don't question things but...apparently you're a distraction." I laugh a little
"A distraction?" He repeats with a confused expression on his face
"Yeah." I nod
"Am I distracting you now?"
"No but later you will." I shrug
He shakes his head not believing me, "I'm not a distraction, in fact, I'm a blessing."
Lol, he's not lying.
I laugh and he continues, "why would you say I'm a distraction."
"Because," I say as my laugh quiets down
"Elaborate."
"My professor says I should get my own place because you're a distraction."
He gives me a weird look, "you don't need an apartment, you could just move in with me?"
I laugh, "we've had this conversation before Justin. And I just told you were distracting, now you're asking me to move in with you?"
"Blah blah blah I'm a distraction whatever but think about how much fun we would have?" He says grabbing my hands
"Yeah it will be so much fun but remember I'm still in college" I pout looking at our entangled hands
"That's not an excuse" he replies
"Yes it is"
"Is your mum or dad telling you to say no to me?"
"No. They don't own my life."
"Then why are you saying nooooo."
"Because it's too early." I tell the truth
He pauses for a while, "No it isn't."
"Um yes it is."
"Holly-May we met July 2016 - its October 2017 now." He explains to me as if I was a little kid
"Justin, when did we start dating? December. Then when did we start dating again? June. It's only been 4 months." I explain to him
"So? At least I've known you for more than a year now. I don't care how long we've dated. I just want to be with you every single day."
"But you are with me everyday,"
"That's not enough."
I sigh and look into his eyes, "can we talk about this later please?"
He sighs as well, letting go of my hands, "alright." He says turning the TV back on
