Izuku
We were dismissed earlier today so I had time to visit the bookstore with Uraraka-san. I bought a couple of comics featuring All Might. I even found a pen and a pencil that would basically go to my collection.
We waved each other goodbye and head to opposite directions.
I was standing outside the Bakugo's gate while clutching the paper bag of my purchase on my chest, when I thought of the sudden change in Kacchan.
He really seems strange lately. Maybe he's into something? Or maybe he misses his parents? Or..he has a problem? I should try to help Kacchan even a bit. But he will just surely scream and shout at me that he doesn't need any help.
"Help me with what huh, Deku?"
I spun around. Bewildered. My heart is pounding hard.
"Kacchan..? I-I didn't say..anything.." I shook in too much nervousness.
Kacchan smirked at me and made explosions on one palm, attempting to crush it on my face but failed for I was able to block it with my arm. Just barely enough.
"Are you fucking kidding me, Deku? Got the guts now, huh?" He spat at me.
"I swear, Kacchan. I wasn't saying anything!" I countered while shaking a bit.
He laughed at me. "Yeah, you were just fucking talking to yourself. Talking about me behind my back. Fuck you, shitnerd!" I took a step back but he grabbed my tie.
I was trembling involuntarily, eyes wide open. Kacchan's eyes are smoldering red it scares me so bad. I gulped hard.
"Tch! Fuckface." He let go of my tie and left me dumbfounded. He opened the gate and got inside their house.
I let go a loud sigh and leaned on the near wall, panting.
Just moments ago, faster than a blink of an eye, I saw something in Kacchan's eyes. I saw the Kacchan I knew when I was a kid.
I took a deep breath and entered. I put my bag down and washed my hands before preparing dinner.
"Oi, Deku." I turned to look at him. Seeing Kacchan in jeans and a black top with a checkered polo is rare. Maybe he's going somewhere?
"Ar--" I was about to ask him if he's going somewhere when he cut me off saying "Nevermind." And with that he left slamming the door.
He must be really having a hard time. He rarely goes out. Maybe he needs to unwind. But his attire..maybe he has a date? It's no surprise, Kacchan got popular with the girls after his amazing quirk manifested.
Why do I feel sad?
Why do I feel lost?
Why do I feel empty?
Why do I feel broken?
Huh?
I can hear my heart pounding hard in my ears.
What is this?
Maybe this is..
I couldn't put my finger on it.
This is just crazy.
I laughed at myself and continued cooking.
