1. Can you tell us some weird things about you?
- I’m damn lazy.
- I laugh when I’m tensed & people around me end up giving me weird looks, which makes me laugh harder.
- I imagine the weirdest things to happen in every situation & I end up laughing.
- I can dance even without music. I guess, something is terribly wrong with my feet, they keep on moving. No control there!
2. From where did you get the idea of And We Meet Again?
I remember it was in January 2013, when I was at a loss of good books on Wattpad & I couldn’t find a sensible read. So, I thought, ‘Why not write on my own and read it?’ lol. So, I started thinking the plot of this story from a guy’s pov & thought ‘It’s going to be cool. Let’s pen it down!’ And, I have always wanted to read a story from male’s pov, that made me want to write it even more.
3. What do you think is the best quality about Keith?
According to me, the best quality of Keith is that he is a very normal and real guy.
He gets embarrassed, he makes mistakes, he is scared, he gets irritated, he gets jealous, he is stupid, dumb and mean. At the same time, he is charming, sweet, wonderful, friendly, funny and laughs at himself. He loves his family and his girl.
He has his many flaws and he has his positive points. It’s just a matter of time that every girl finds their ‘Keith’. :)
4. So who is your inspiration for writing?
Honestly, I’ve not read many novels as I’ve been very engrossed in giving time to my study books. *cheeky grin* So, there is no inspiration. I’m writing because it gives me a much needed break from my regular life and I love it. Can I say that my inspiration for writing is my ‘terribly hectic schedule’? Um…yeah!
5. Was it difficult writing from a male's point of view?
Initially, it was a very big challenge as not only this was the first story I ever dared to write but also a story from the male’s pov. Who knows what goes on in their thick heads?
And then, I was showing him as a player and I had to make him sound like one. He had to be a little pervert. I had no idea how to do that! *removes the imaginary sweat line from my forehead* *phew* :D
The fact that his character develops throughout the story was an altogether different challenge. There were times when I just stared at my computer screen and thought what would any guy do in this situation? Each and every reaction or dialogue matters so much as Keith is the voice of the story. There was no way that I could afford to make him sound even slightly girly.
Eventually, it became easier & it was undoubtedly fun. It gave me great observation skills. I write my character’s reactions after observing people around me.
I’m just very glad that nobody ever told me that Keith sounded girly. :’)
6. Best chapter of AWMA, according to you?
There are many. That story is so close to my heart, but if I had to choose, it would be Chapter 26 ‘Keeping Up The Façade’.
I’m terrible at serious situations as I mentioned earlier as well that I think of the weirdest thing to happen in every situation. So this makes it very difficult to write emotional scenes. My fingers automatically start writing something funny or awkward.
It was an extremely difficult chapter to write. Not only was it emotional, but emotional from a guy’s pov. They act differently from girls in emotional situations. I had to keep that in mind, and then write it down.
I feel incredibly happy whenever I receive a comment on that chapter saying that ‘I cried’. (Dear God! That sounds so mean & selfish even to my own ears..er..eyes..lol)
7. If Keith had to give tips on wooing a girl, what would he say?
Keith looks up from the laptop after reading this question with a smug look on his face.
Keith - “Wooing a girl is my left hand’s work. All I do is smile my killer smile and they are all mine.” *fixes his non-existent collar*
Kim - *rolls her eyes at Keith’s antics* “Are you seriously asking this from Keith Warren? The ‘Keith’ who took years to woo me?” *raises eyebrows*
Keith covers Kim’s mouth with his hand to make her shut up.
Keith - *cheeky grin* “My blue eyes are a show stopper and I give classes on ‘pick up lines’.”
*Kim struggles under him to say something*
Keith - “You can contact me at-“
*Kim interrupts him by licking his hand that was over her mouth. He removes his hand in an instant.*
Keith - “You are disgusting.”
Kim - *winning smile on her face* “I take that as a compliment.”
Keith - *ignores her smile* “I really thought we were done with licking hands at Early Man’s house!”
*looks at the interviewer, remembers the interview and shakes head with a damn serious look on his face*
Keith - “Don’t go around licking hands. That is NOT a tip to woo girls!”

9. Which are your favourite Wattpad books and why?
‘I Sold Myself to the Devils for Vinyls…’ by DarknessAndLight. This book made me highly jealous of Lexi as she had Blake. *sigh*
And ‘Late Summer Rain’ (this one made me cry & I never cry) and ‘The Replacement Girlfriend’ (this made me laugh a lot) by AubreyEatsHearts. These books are just… W.O.W.
10. If you were given a chance to be any author from the world. Who would it be and why?
J.K. Rowling. *Hands down* Who would not want to live in a completely different and unique world in their imagination?
