Angela Jones
Everything happened so fast.
When we arrived back from France. We rushed to my house immediately, because I felt something bad in the pit of my stomach. When I arrived in the pack territory I was surprised at the how many people were fighting. My pack was winning, I knew that. The vampires were outnumbered and were weaker than we were. Joey, Gumi, Chelsea, and Noboru quickly helped and they were in combat.
Mason accompanied me to my house. When I got there, I screamed. My mother was lying down on the floor with blood all over. I was too late.
Mason went straight to the basement when we heard yelling. I also went with him. And now. After the battle, he was one the on the floor, dying.
"Mason!"
I hurriedly took a shirt from no where and put it on. I fell on my knees beside him and I almost forgot about my father. I looked at him and it was also too late. He lost a lot of blood and was now hanging on our wall, dead.
"Such monsters!" I cried. Mason was breathing a bit and I was scared that if I touched him, he might just break.
"Mason, don't leave me. Please. I'm going to look for help." I said a I stood up. Drying my tears a bit and ran outside. The battle was over and I saw Joey and the others running to my house.
"Angel! What's wrong?" Chelsea asked she got to me. I hugged her and cried.
"Ma-mason he-he's h-hurt!" They looked at each other and we went downstairs.
"What should I do?! I don't know anymore!" I cried out. I heard a few more footsteps and I looked up to see Blake. He looked at me with sad eyes and hugged me.
"I know how he can survive." We all went silent and looked at Chelsea.
"How?" I hiccuped.
"Us mermaids... We have this one wish... One wish that could either help us or break us." She said.
"What do you have to do?" I asked. I was risking anything for Mason.
"I have to expose myself. Get me a bucket of salt water. Now." She demanded. I let go of Blake and he ran to the nearest lake. After 2 minutes, he came back with a bucket.
"Angel, can I speak with you?" Joey asked from behind of Chelsea.
"What is it?" I asked. He motioned me to follow him.
"It's about Chelsea." He breathed out as we walked to the corner of the room.
"What about Chelsea?" I asked, dumbfounded.
"If she does this, she won't be on land anymore. She has to go back to the ocean." Crap. I forgot about that deal she made with Poseidon when she became my protector.
"No. She can't." I said.
"She has too. She's sacrificing her life as a human for you, okay? But Angel." He said.
"What? I know I can't risk- ugh I don't know anymore." I said as I placed my head on my hands.
"Angel, she's my mate. I can't risk losing her." He said. I froze. No no no. I can't.
"Chelsea! Come here!" I yelled. I felt Joey froze beside me.
"What?" She asked.
"If you do this, can I still see you?" I asked.
"Yeah. When you go by the ocean, I'll visit." She sadly said.
"Joey tell her." I felt him tensed up but he still went for it.
"Chelsea, you-you're my mate." He said. I saw her wide eyed and tears were spilling from her eyes.
"I knew something was up. But I still have to sacrifice my wish for Angel's sake. I made a vow to protect her and I will. I'm sorry Joey, I know you're a great guy but we could always get to know one another by the ocean.." She said. Joey sadly smiled and they hugged.
"Can I get at least a kiss?" He asked. Chelsea smiled and kissed him. They were kissing for a good 20 seconds until they broke apart and Joey walked back to where he was.
"Are you sure about this?" I asked.
"I'm sure." Chelsea said. I nodded and I thanked her for this.
She positioned herself at the middle of the room beside Mason and I ordered Blake to splash the bucket of salt water at her. Gumi was at the stairs so she won't be touched by the water.
We watched as Chelsea's pants ripped and revealed her beautiful green tail. We felt an earthquake after and a couple of people, I never saw before, went to the room and the voice of Poseidon boomed across the room.
"Chelsea Nolan, you have now broken the deal of staying hidden and will go to back to where you have come from." Poseidon's voice roared.
"Father Poseidon, can you please grant me my one wish before I leave." She said. We watched in amaze.
"Very well then, what is it?"
"I wish for Mason Freeman, a vampire and mate of Angela Jones to be healed and cured." She finally said. This is it. I won't see her until I go to the ocean.
"Very well. Come with me now." Poseidon said as a couple of people carried Chelsea. I sadly waved goodbye at her and I saw Mason's neck was quickly being healed.
"Mason! Are you alright?" I asked, still crying. His eyes were shut closed but a few minutes later, his body was back to its original state.
"What happened?" He asked.
"You almost died."
"Well, I'm okay now." He said as he sat upright and kissed me. "Stop crying."
I stopped and hugged him. I know it's a selfish act but I'm willing to lose anyone besides my mate. I don't care who they are, I already lost my family.
"You know, I could read your thoughts." He stated.
"I forgot." I stuttered.
A few hours later, people started to clean up the mess the vampire pack did. Turns out, when the father of Juliet and Juliet died. The alpha of the pack immediately became the daughter of Juliet's father, Danielle Johnson. I was sort of worried about her until we met a few minutes after Mason was revived. She was a really nice girl and now, full of authority.
From the left over pack of vampires, one third survive. Leaving a lot of dead bodies.
I've talked to Danielle, as Mason rested in the pack doctor's office.
*Flashback*
"Are you Angela Jones? Alpha now of the Black Shadow Pack." A girl with the similar blonde hair and pale white features to the girl, Juliet. She came inside the pack doctor's office, where Mason was resting. I smelt that she was a vampire.
"Yes. What are you doing in my territory?" I said, my voice full of authority and confidence.
"I'm here just to bring peace back to the treaty between vampires and werewolves." She stated. I eyed her, she looked decent and didn't look like she wanted to kill us.
"Are you sure? That agreement has already been broken because of your father and sister."
"Yes, I'm the alpha now of the pack. In all honesty, I would have never done any of this... Crap." She said. "I was locked in my room, for weeks. Until today."
I was curious. "Why?"
She breathed out the air she held inside. "It's because I told your mate that my pack killed his Dad. For some reason, father found out and decided to lock me up. He had to. Or else, my sister would have killed me. She was stupid and young."
"Oh" was all I could say.
"Anyway, I'm sorry again. I'll just leave you to it with your mate. I also want to advice you to the vampire court. It's rare for a vampire to mate with a werewolf, so the court also has to agree with this." She said as she left in a second. I didn't get to say anything.
The vampire court? I'm in deep sh*t
*End of flashback*
When Mason woke up, I told him what had happened. Turns out, he left a small detail of us going to court. Since we were already mated mates, we were also. Technically married which also turns out he his the Alpha of my pack, not me. I'm the Luna.
Well, isn't this a confusing matter.

I'm terribly sorry about the update! I had no wifi for a while so I wasn't able to update my book. I also want to say that I'm working on a new book now. A fan fiction. I'll be posting about it when I finished this book which is in a few weeks. I'm also working with another book but I won't post that until I'm done with the fan fiction. So yeah.
Sorry again about the VERY SLOW UPDATE.
