My youngest son is special.
He has Autism and a rare, but serious allergy to cinnamon. (Closer to Halloween I'll go into gory details about that)
But one of the things that helps him is Applied Behavior Therapy (ABA therapy). This year we have, so far, gone through 3 therapists.
1st went to live with her inlaws while finishing school, raising her young children, and her husband was deployed. I totally get it. We had her for months and she was so great with him. We still talk regularly (doesn't hurt that my daughter was her babysitter before she became our therapist).
2nd was offered a job the day he started with us. He lasted 3 weeks while waiting for the new job to start.
3rd didn't even make it a week and we have no fucking idea why!

It is so bad that the company that we go through (don't get me started on that...) sent me the resume of the next person.
She didn't last a year with her old company.
She hasn't worked since February (it's September).
Any bets on how long she'll last?
We are still waiting on her to start. And today even the supervisor has no idea where we stand with the new therapist coming on line.
^^^^^^ Mommy's going to have some very bad behaviors soon. (This is one of the things never to say to the parent of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder by the way.)
Someone pass me the wine. Fuck that, I need something stronger. Who has the VODKA!?!?!
