Fab 5 jam room
Soha stood there with a victorious smirk next to Mr. Khurana who was too busy at passing smug smiles towards fab 5 while on the other hand fab 5 were frustrated with Soha's presence and the thought of Soha being around them almost all the time as their band manager was enough to piss them off.
Khurana: kisi random par bharosa karne se better hai why not appoint someone whom I can trust blindly isliye Soha and she has ample knowledge about music and also knows how I work and what all I like so she might be really helpful to you so that's why I thought why not make her only your manager
He justified his act making fab 5 roll their eyes.
Dhruv: but sir we really don't need all this
Mukti: exactly sir we will manage, there's no need to stress so much
She said faking a smile and trying to sound as sincere as possible but was failing to keep her calm.
Soha: oh come on guys dad isn't stressing and don't worry about me, I am more than happy to do this and this way I can also get to know more about you (looking at manik) all and guess I will be having some awesome friends by the end of this album too so why not
She said in her sickly sweet voice. Fab 5 were left with no choice but to agree because they knew the consequences of going against her.
Music room
As fab 5 were busy with their album, yaari, that is, nandini, maddy, navya, aryaman and Abhi decided to jam for a while and hence they all were now sitting in the music room and trying to compose a song.
Nandini: guys this feels so good na..been so long since we jammed together
Maddy: agreed munchkin and ab se we will try to practice everyday or maybe every alternate day...what say?
Aryaman: ofcourse
Navya: sounds good to me
Aryaman: Abhi bro...where are you lost?
He asked seeing Abhi not paying attention to their talks and lost in thoughts.
Abhi: ha? Um...nothing...was just thinking about fab 5
Navya: fab 5?
Abhi: ha that Soha...I don't trust her. She can go to any extent and ruin fab 5 to get manik and in that process she can harm nandu too and I am worried
Maddy: oh come on bro you really think that I...um I mean we will let her harm munchkin? No ways
He said side hugging nandini possessively.
Abhi: I know we won't let her but still we need to be cautious right?
Navya: Abhi chill...yeh sab badme dekha jaega...don't stress over it so much
Nandini: navya is right Bhai and as long as you all are there with me, there is nothing that can harm me ya?
Abhi nodded, still not sure but did not show it on his face.
Fab 5 jam room
Mr. Khurana had already left and now it was only fab 5 and Soha in the jam room. Fab 5 wanted to resume practice so they asked Soha to leave them alone as politely as possible but she denied saying that she wanted to see them practice to which they reluctantly agreed.
Manik: Cabir I want the bass heavy alright and alia play the piano notes a little high
Both Cabir and alia nodded and they played again as manik asked them to and all this while Soha stared at manik dreamily making him uncomfortable.
Mukti: bas ya manik ab break lete hai na
Cabir: are waah mukti tune toh meri muh ki baat cheenli...chal canteen chalte hai...am damn hungry
Dhruv: ha buddy I guess we should call it a day
Manik: ok then lets go to the canteen...main nandini ko bhi call karke bula leta hu with the others
Listening to nandini's name Soha's blood boiled and she at once shouted a big no. Fab 5 looked at her wierdly while she realizing her tone calmed down a bit and tried to divert manik so as to stop him from meeting nandini.
Soha: uh manik voh actually na I needed your help with the guitar. I am not able to make a tune since when so can you please help me?
Manik*uninterested tone*: not now Soha....I am tired and moreover nandini might be waiting for me
Soha: please manik and if its just about about nandini then if you keep her waiting for some more time then its fine...it won't make any difference
Manik*controlling his anger*: it will...it will make a difference Soha. Now please if you excuse me, I am missing my girlfriend so I need to leave..chalo guys
Manik left the room without waiting for her reply followed by fab 4 who were trying to suppress their laughter seeing Soha's annoyed face after whatever manik spoke.
After fab 5 left Soha kicked the nearest stool in anger, cursing nandini for coming in between her and manik.
Soha: yeh sab tumhari vajah se hua hai nanz but trust me main bhi haar maanne walo me se nahi hu...I will make manik mine by hook or by crook (smirks evilly) chahe uske liye mujhe kuch bhi karna pade, I can go to any extent if that means destroying you and keeping you away from manik kyuki manik sirf mera hai...sirf Soha ka!
Music room
Aryaman: Yaar ab bohot jam kar liya lets go to the canteen now...mujhe bhuk lagi hai
Navya: this time I agree...lets take a break
Nandini: ha chalo. Manik ka message aaya tha, fab 5 is waiting for us in the canteen
Maddy: guys tum log jao, main aata hu
Nandini*frowns*: aata hu matlab? Where are you going?
Maddy*avoiding eye contact*: Voh...voh kuch kaam hai so you guys go...I'll be there in 5
Nandini*suspiciously*: kaunsa kaam?
Abhi: nandu chod na, use jab batana hoga voh tujhe tab bata dega for now lets go to the canteen and maddy tu bhi apna kaam khatam karke jaldi aaja
Maddy smiled at him and left the music room leaving behind a curious nandini.
Navya: so lets go?
Abhi: ya
Aryaman, nandini, navya and Abhi left the room to go to the canteen as maddy went to the terrace, fidgeting with his phone.
Canteen
Cabir: Yaar yeh log kaha reh gaye? Manik tune nandini ko bola tha na ki we are waiting in the canteen?
Manik: ha Cabir but tujhe kya hua? Navya se milne ke liye itna desperate ho raha hai tu...now that's new ha
Cabir: are ofcourse am desperate, girlfriend hai voh meri...jab teri girlfriend banegi na then you will know
Manik: ya ya whatever
He rolled his eyes at him but deep down even he was getting desperate to meet nandini. It had hardly been some hours that they were together and manik wanted to spend some quality time with her, specially after the Soha fiasco but nandini was nowhere to be seen.
Mukti: there they are!
She chirped as she saw Abhi entering whilst talking to navya, seeing them a big smile formed on cabir's face and manik was just searching for nandini who entered behind them lost in her thoughts with aryaman by her side.
Abhi: hey guys
He greeted taking mukti in a hug and soon settled beside her as Cabir pulled navya towards him, making her sit beside him to which navya giggled and the rest laughed except nandini who was still lost somewhere.
Manik: hey kya hua?
Nandini: huh? Kuch nai...its just ki maddy mujhse kuch chupa raha hai and this isn't usual so bas vohi Soch rahi hu
Manik sighed and held her hand under the table gaining nandini's attention.
Manik: nandini he will come around ok? Tum tension mat lo
Nandini smiled faintly at him.
Dhruv: guys you know aaj Mr. Khurana aaye the with our band manager and guess who is it
Aryaman: who?
Alia: Soha khurana!
Aryaman/Abhi/nandini/navya: WHAT!?!?
While fab 5 nodded sadly confirming their shock.
Aryaman: what is that bitch upto now?
He asked scrunching his face in annoyance.
Alia: no idea...but she is definitely on on something
Dhruv: and her being around us isn't exactly working...we need to find out about her intentions real soon
"Whose intentions?"
All turned around to find Maddy entering in all confused.
Dhruv: soha...she is our band manager now so uske intentions we need to figure out
Maddy*confused*: soha? Who soha? Oh wait that creepy girl who misbehaved with munchkin that day right?
The others just nodded. Maddy settled next to nandini and voiced out his thoughts.
Maddy: that girl gives me negative vibes and out of all I am afraid for munchkin cuz what's her name?....(thinks)...ya soda...nah...soha yes! That girl soha wants manik and harming munchkin is the easiest way to get what she wants
The thought of nandini being harmed sent chills of fear down Manik's spine. He held nandini's hand tightly under the table as nandini placed her palm over his hand in assurance.
Nandini: don't worry....I'll be fine, she won't be able to harm me...I have you all to protect me and specially my monster boyfriend so we don't need to worry (wink)
She whispered to him. Manik smiled a little at her but deep down he was hell worried for nandini because he could not trust soha and knowing her obsession for him was adding to his worries all the more.
Nandini: Maddy chill, she can't harm me...don't worry
Maddy: ofcourse she can't harm you. If she even tries, she'll face me and you exactly know how scary I can be
Nandini*chuckles*: I know baba but I don't think that will be needed
Manik: no nandini we shouldn't underestimate her. If she harms you na then she will have to face my wrath
He stated furiously.
Listening to them nandini looked at Abhi pleadingly to lighten the air and he blinked at her in positive gesturing that he will handle them.
Abhi: Oye tum dono kya apni baat kar rahe ho! Hum bhi nandu ki safety chahte hai and that soha will have to face all of us...right guys?
Others: right!
Abhi: and tum dono (pointing at Maddy and Manik) zyada lal hone ki zaroorat nahi hai...act smartly rather than getting all red in anger...idiots!
Maddy/Manik: are but-
Abhi: I don't want any buts now get it?
Both Manik and Maddy nodded nodded like obedient children making the rest giggle at their state.
