MaNan: It all started with a lie

Nandini entered her usual classroom the next day, still a little nervous courtesy the incident that occurred yesterday but did not show it on her face and stepped in determined to do her best as always and leave as soon as the class is done but today there was something different. Nandini could not spot Panditji in the class today. Usually he would always be there before time but today he was nowhere to be seen.

Nandini: Weird much. Panditji is always here before me toh how come he is not here today?

She thought to herself as she settled down and began tuning her veena. Fifteen minutes passed by but there was still no sign of the Pandit. Nandini was just thinking of leaving when the door flung open and Pandit entered the class.

Nandini: Panditji aap kaha the? I thought ki aaj class nahi hai because you are never late

Pandit: You are right. Aaj main class conduct nahi kar paunga kyuki I have to leave for home aur isliye the fusion performance as well as Musicana is postponed for a month

Nandini: but Panditji aise achanak? I mean...

She trailed off.

Pandit: Voh actually kuch personal problem hai

Nandini: oh

Pandit: aur ha Manik ko bhi inform kar dena ki uska test bhi ek mahine baad hoga. Maine apne student ko bhi inform kar diya hai so you don't need to bother about it

Nandini: ok sir

Panditji nodded and left the class. Nandini too packed her bag and left to the canteen.

Nandini: hey guys

Nandini greeted her friends as she settled next to Manik.

Maddy: Munchkin did you bunk the class?

Maddy asked shocked seeing her in the canteen instead of class.

Nandini: No Maddy voh actually Panditji had some personal problems at home due to which he had to leave and because of that he has also postponed the fusion concert and Musicana for a month

Maddy: Now that's strange

Nandini: What's so strange about it? He had some problem at home and he was needed there so he went

Maddy: Munchkin that Pandit looks like a man whose very strict and abides by the norms he's set for himself so leaving his duty halfway and going away seems strange to me

Nandini: Maddy stop overthinking, there's nothing strange in this

Navya: Aur nahi toh kya! Jab dekho tab kuch zyada he sochte rehto ho

Navya exclaimed, agreeing with Nandini while Maddy just shrugged and looked at Manik. He was sure even Manik thought something similar but just wasn't saying anything at the moment by the look Manik had on his face.

Dhruv: guys chalo lectures ka time ho raha hai

Alia: Baby I am tired today. Can we skip the lectures please

Mukti: ha yaar Dhruv agar tu ek din lectures attend nahi karega toh it won't make a difference na

Cabir: Exactly! Humesha good boy banna zaroori nahi hai yaar

Abhimanyu: but guys exams are near so I guess we should attend lectures and not bunk them

He said looking at Mukti who made a puppy face to convince him but he shrugged it off.

Aditi: you guys continue....mujhe jaana hoga, its time for my dance rehearsal

She said standing up from her seat but was stopped by Aryaman.

Aryaman: Adi rukja na. You can bunk today's lecture and instead we'll go somewhere....what say?

He suggested enthusiastically but Aditi refused making him pout.

Aditi: Now don't make these cute faces, we'll go out in the evening

Aryaman: Done!

He beamed making her laugh while the others teased them.

Nandini: now lets go to class?

Navya: ha chalo chalo

Mukti: Navya yaar lecture attend karne ja rahe hai party karne nahi. Why are you so excited?

Navya: hum toh aise hi hai par ab chalo varna class ke liye late ho jaenge

Navya said dragging Mukti with her who followed Navya, shaking her head in disbelief.

Maddy: Manik I need to talk to you

Maddy called out, stopping Manik in the canteen.

Manik: ha bolna

Maddy: don't you find the Pandit a little weird? I mean do din pehle he was hell bent on testing you and so much involved for this fusion performance and aaj suddenly he postponed it for a month and left. I know ki Munchkin said he did this due to some family problem but don't know why I don't feel so

Manik: No need to hesitate so much cuz I feel the same too. I have never got any good vibes from this Pandit guy but I didn't say it kyuki I did not have any proof and plus Nandini respects her teachers a lot and she would have blasted on me if I said something bad about him

Maddy: yeah I understand but ab plan kya hai?

Manik: I don't think we need a plan as of now because Pandit is not here so lets just chill for now and not waste our energy on that Pandit

Maddy: I guess you are right

They continued talking as they left to attend their class.

Mukti: guys don't you think its been long that we have jammed?

She asked once they were done with their classes for the day.

Cabir: Muktiii tune toh meri muh ki baat cheenli! Lets jam guys....what's say?

Dhruv: neki aur puch puch

Alia: neki? Baby what's that? Mujhe kuch samajh nahi aaya

Alia pouted cutely making Dhruv go all aww on her.

Manik: Alia tum rehne do. You just need to know that he said yes so lets jam?

Aryaman: Guys hum bhi jamming karte hai na?

He asked looking at Yaari who nodded.

Abhimanyu: guys why don't we jam together? Bohot maza aayega

Alia: ya that's actually a great idea

Navya: Sachi Abhi bohot acha idea hai

Aryaman: toh guys what are we waiting for? Lets go!

Nandini: guys tumlog jao...I need to use the washroom so I'll be there in 5

Navya: chalo hum bhi chalte hai tumhare saath

Nandini: Nahi Navya its fine, tum inke saath jao...I'll be there in 5

Navya: theek hai 

And they left opposite ways, Nandini went to the washroom while fab 5 and Yaari except Nandini to the fab 5 jam room.
