Next day was a usual day for the gang except for Maddy who seemed lost in his own world. Fab 5, Navya, Abhimanyu, Aditi and Aryaman still had no clue of who Sanjana was and why did Maddy react the way he did on seeing her but they asked no questions, respecting his privacy while Nandini on the other hand was helpless. She wanted Maddy to have a closure but his reluctance left her with no choices.

Presently, the gang was in the fab 5 jam room, discussing a tune when the door opened and Sanjana entered which angered Maddy.

Maddy: What the hell! Look Ms. Whatever strangers are not allowed in here so just leave

Sanjana: Maddy bas ek baari meri baat sunlo

Maddy: Munchkin I am already in a bad mood and I cannot really he patient with such people so please just ask her to leave

Nandini: but-

Maddy: Munchkin please

He requested softly making Nandini sigh. She looked at Manik for once who blinked his eyes in assurance and then turned towards Sanjana.

Nandini: Look Sanjana I think you should leave. Maddy abhi bohot gusse me hai and its the best if you let him be for sometime

She explained calmly but it only made Sanjana scowl.

Sanjana: Look girl I don't know you and I don't even care who you are but I would suggest you to not interfere between me and Maddy. Main Maddy ko bohot ache se janti hu so you don't need to tell me when to talk to him and when not to, its my bloody business so just stay away. I exactly know girls like you....rich ladka dekha nahi ki...

But her words were left incomplete as she came face to face to a raging Maddy.

Maddy: Shut up! Shut that mouth of yours right away!

He hissed, holding her arm in a tight grip.

Sanjana: Maddy mera haath chodo...its hurting

Maddy: Oh is it? Good then...you deserve it

Sanjana: Maddy I-

Maddy: Its Madhyam for you

He said sternly, still glaring at which scared her a little.

Maddy: You know what? tum bilkul bhi nahi badli, you are still the same. Tum ab bhi vohi ladki ho jo sirf khud ke baare me sochti hai, a girl who has nothing to do with others and I shouldn't be surprised about it kyuki tum jaisi ladki se kuch aur expect bhi nahi kiya ja sakta

He spat in disgust.

Maddy: Tum abhi jis ladki ki insult kar rahi thi na voh best friend hai meri. She cares for me unlike you, she respects me and my decisions unlike you, she understands me unlike you and last but not the least, she knows ki friendship kaise nibhayi jaati hai, she cannot betray anyone and play with their emotions like you

All this while his eyes were spitting venom and Sanjana looked down in guilt while Manik on the other hand stood with a straight face, clutching his palm in a fist to control his anger after listening to Sanjana's words for his Nandini.

Maddy: I hope you have understood my point so now just leave before I say something I shouldn't

Manik: and the next time you point a finger at someone, remember and make sure to get your facts checked first because maybe next time I won't just stand and listen to you speaking bullshit against my girl

He said stressing on the word 'my', indirectly conveying about his relationship with Nandini to her. His eyes were cold and his knuckles had turned white due to the tight grip of his fist which Nandini noticed and immediately entwined their hands to calm him down which sort of worked.

Sanjana only felt more guilty of accusing Nandini but found no words to apologize to her and hence left the room immediately. She knew better than angering Maddy at the moment. Once she left, Maddy pushed the chair angrily and it fell down with a thud.

Navya: Maddy what are you doing?

Maddy *to Nandini*: Munchkin I am really very sorry jo bhi usne bola uske liye. I know a sorry won't be enough for it but still I am sorry

Nandini *nods her head in a no*: Maddy you don't need to apologize baba, I understand you as well as her. Sanjana was just angry and insecure because she thought that I was taking her place in your life isliye she said all that to me and its alright. I hold no grudges against her

Maddy: No Munchkin its not. She shouldn't have done that. (To Manik) Manik I want to apologize to you too. I know how difficult would it have been for you to not burst out in anger when she accused Munchkin

Manik: Maddy it wasn't your fault so you don't need to say sorry. Its ok

Maddy: but-

Manik sighed and put his arm around his shoulder in an attempt to assure him.

Manik: Maddy its okay

Maddy: yeah

He nodded, distracted by his thoughts while the gang stood there stunned, not understanding anything about what was going on.

Abhimanyu: Maddy want to share?

He asked softly and Maddy looked at Nandini. He was scared as well as helpless all at the same time and for him, Nandini was his rescuer.

Nandini: Maddy they have to know someday then why not today?

Maddy: I guess its time then

He sighed and Nandini nodded looking at him with a small smile.

On the other hand, Sanjana left college, controlling her tears and soon rushed home and crashed on the bed, crying badly.

Sanjana: I lost him

She almost whispered to herself as another sob left her mouth. She was deeply regretting accusing Nandini as well all that she did in the past but she was helpless. She knew Maddy won't forgive her so easily or maybe never and she had to try hard and be patient and she was ready for it, ready to earn his forgiveness. With a new determination, she got up wiping her tears and promised herself to earn her forgiveness, come what may and win Maddy's trust on her which she lost due to her foolishness.
