Brett felt extremely happy about the little baby growing in his tummy. He found his hand often resting there, on his tummy. It gave him comfort. He was creating life. How magical is that?
All that magical talk earlier? Yeah, that's bullshit. Every single word.
Brett is clinging to the toilet seat with his face neck deep into the toilet as he was vomiting.
He throat was hurting. Tears were brimming his eyes.
"I'm sorry you have to go through this Brett."
Brett looks behind him to see Theo sitting behind him as he rubs his back.
"I hate you." He replied. Then he want back to vomiting.
And Theo stayed there and rubbed his back.
Brett leans against Theo.
"Are you done?" Theo whispered.
Brett shakes his head one hand resting on his small belly "I still feel nauseous." "How about I rub your belly?" Theo offered.
Brett nods, pulling Theo's hand towards his belly "I like small circles."
And small circles is what Theo rubbed.
Brett purred happily.
"Does this feel good?" Theo whispered.
"Shut up and keep rubbing Theo." Brett answered.
"Brett? Brett, wake up."
Brett felt a hand caressing against his cheek.
"Theo? Where am I?" Brett sits up looking around.
"I carried you to our room. You fell asleep."
"You were rubbing my tummy yeah?" Brett yawned. Theo nodded "Lured you right to sleep like a baby." Brett smiled "Thank you for caring for me during this pregnancy Theo."
Theo smiles, pulling himself closer next to Brett "You are so welcome." He whispered, the pressed a kiss to Brett's forehead.
"How about we get breakfast?" Brett asked.
"Whatever you want Brett." Theo says.
"We want breakfast of grilled cheese." Brett rubs his belly.
"Grilled cheese sandwiches for breakfast."
"Never again with grilled cheese sandwiches Theo. Oh god!" Gagged Brett, his head back in the toilet.
Theo was rubbing his back.
"Duly noted about the sandwiches." Theo agreed.
Theo came into the house and heard silence.
This worried him immediately.
"Brett? Brett! Where are you Brett!"
Theo runs towards the bedroom, still yelling for Brett "Brett!"
"Stop yelling! I am not deaf. What do you want?" Snapped Brett.
"I wanted to make sure you were okay. Are you okay?"
"Headache. And it hurts Theo." Brett sniffled, covering his head up with a pillow.
"I will get you a glass of water?" Theo offered.
Brett sniffled softly.
Theo returns to Brett with water, and a cool washcloth.
"Here you go baby." Theo says.
He sets down the water.
"I have a washcloth for your headache." Theo announced.
Brett opened his eyes, looking up at Theo "Cuddle me?"
"Absolutely so."
Theo gets into bed with Brett.
His hand slipped under Brett's shirt, putting his palm on his belly.
He rubs it round the belly.
"Wait!" Brett yelled suddenly.
Theo freezes.
"Before we get to cuddling, I need to pee!" Brett says.
Theo removed his hand from Brett's tummy "Go pee." Theo laughed.
Brett gets out of the bed to go relieve himself.
Theo's eyes were dropping. He was drifting slowly.
Until he heard Brett start cursing.
He sits up right.
"Are you okay Brett?" He asks.
Brett does not answer.
Theo gets out of the bed, walking towards the cursing.
Brett is leaning against the wall of the bathroom with his hand resting on his tummy.
"What's wrong?" Theo asked.
"I just feel nauseous. I have not been sick, just really nauseous. And my head still really hurts." Brett began to weep.
Theo sits in front of Brett and pulls him into a hug. "I am so sorry."
"Can we get back into bed? I just want you." Brett asked.
Theo nodded "Of course we can. Anything that you want."
"Well..I want heating pad, and dark chocolate." Brett rubbed his belly.
Theo chuckles "Anything for my baby."
"Which one?" Brett chuckled.
Theo slipped his hand under his shirt again and rubbed his belly "This one."
Brett smiled "You will take such care of our baby." Theo nods "I always will try to take care of my baby. And I will always try to take care of you. Also you are my baby."
Brett takes Theo's hands away from his belly "I know you will take care of your family. And for that, I will always love you."
