Maddy was busy tickling nandini and nandini was doubling over with laughter and trying to stop his assaults at the same time and finally maddy gave in.

He said moving towards nandini but before he could touch her, manik pulled her close to him making nandini gasp and others surprise.

He said in a calm yet stern tone.

He said looking towards nandini who beamed.

As soon as navya completed manik had an amused look on his face as he had never expected navya to say such things but anyway smiled.
They entered the college with manik and nandini walking side by side, manik holding nandini's waist. Maddy was a bit surprised watching then walking like that but did not ask any questions. Everything was usual. Manik had his all time famous smirk on his face like always, nandini carried her cute smile with some much needed attitude and the others walking beside them spreading their aura all around with a new member this time, maddy who was currently the topic of gossip but there was one more thing different other than maddy and that was Manik's behaviour. He was acting all possessive with nandini. For others it might be normal but nandini knew her possessive best friend better than anyone else.
"Baby!" a high pitched busy voice made them halt their steps and a very much annoyed manik turned around still holding nandini possessively in his arms.
Soha: manik baby tum kaha the? I was finding you since so long
She spoke batting her eyelashes to make herself look more appealing which made manik cringe. He opened his mouth to reply but before him, nandini began speaking.
Nandini: Soha you understand the language we speak right? I hope that you do
She began speaking in a sickly sweet tone.
Soha*confused*: what do you mean?
Nandini: what I mean is that it has been somewhat six months since manik told you that I AM HIS GIRLFRIEND and we ARE dating
She said putting stress on the emphasized words and continued.
Nandini: but sadly it seems like you don't understand the language we speak or maybe you are too dumb to understand
She said making a fake sympathetic face.
Soha: you bitch! How dare you s-
She was cut in between her sentence, but but but not by one but two people, manik and maddy who till now were bearing her but could no longer hold back when Soha began insulting nandini.
" WATCH IT SOHA!" "WATCH IT MISS!" manik and maddy yelled together as they looked at each other surprised but shook it away.
Manik: look Soha I am tolerating this stupid behaviour of yours just because of Mr. Khurana so don't press my limits. Take it as my warning Soha you won't be pleased if I cross my limits
He said gritting his teeth.
Maddy: look who ever you are I really don't care but think before you speak or act henceforth in front of nandini or any of her friends because you will have to face the worst side of me so just get out of our way. Get that?
He spoke calmly in his sickly sweet voice yet sternly that made Soha shudder but she still held her ground.
Soha: so you wrapped another guy around your fingers ha? Not bad nanz....I am impressed like seriously! How do you even manage? Pehle manik aur ab this hotty
Abhi: mind your tongue soha!!
He yelled in a warning tone.
Soha: whatever
She rolled her eyes and went away.
Abhi: this time I won't leave her. How dare she even speak a word against my sister ha? I need to show her the right place where she actually stands
He was seething in anger.
Nandini: Bhai calm down. Koi baat nahi. You don't need to waste your energy on that Soha alright?
She said calmly side hugging Abhi who passed her a smile in response.
Manik: star I am sorry....meri vajah se you had to bear her
He said cupping nandini's face.
Nandini: no mani you don't need to be sorry kyuki Soha jaisi ladkiyon se mujhe koi farak nahi padta
Manik: par-
Nandini: sshhh no par var....no more arguments!
She declared in a final tone.
Manik: ok mam!
Nandini giggled at his reply.
Maddy: nandini tune bataya bhi nahi that you are dating? I am hurt
He said feigning hurt.
Nandini: sshhh...I will tell you everything. Just follow me now
She said holding maddy's hand and dragging him along with her as the rest followed behind her.
Fab 5 jam room
Everyone followed nandini to the fab 5 jam room.
Maddy: ab will you explain?
Nandini: me and manik are.....um not dating actually
Maddy*shocked+confused*: what but bahar toh tumne....
Nandini: ha kyuki Soha is obsessed with manik. Soha ke dad is the owner of a big music company, Q labels and he has signed a music contract with fab 5 which is going to be their first ever break and Soha ne uska advantage liya manik ke paas aane ke liye. Her aim is to trap manik with her so called charm and then ditch fab 5
Mukti: what? Choti what are you saying?
Abhi: nandu manik ne toh kuch aur hi kaha tha na
Aryaman: exactly! Usne toh kaha tha ki Soha is obsessed with him and to keep her away he is fake dating you toh then yeh sab?
Manik: I know guys but please let me explain
Alia*coldly*: so you finally got the time to tell us. Agar aaj nandini wouldn't have revealed this toh we would have been oblivious forever
Manik: alia please atleast let me explain
Dhruv: alia use bolne toh do please
He requests, alia nods.
Dhruv: ha buddy bol. We are all ears
Manik sucked in a sharp breath and began speaking.
Manik: it all started with that contract which we signed with Mr. Khurana that day
Cabir: contract?
Cabir asked confused. Manik nodded and started his explanation.
