Reader X Oikawa Tooru ( Perfect Comfort)
Today Aoba Josai had lost the match with Karasuno, it was a very unpredictable match which makes the crowd crazy you on the top bleachers smiled ear to ear as you cheer for the Karasuno team. You had trusted them that they will wig todays match and they didn't failed you. The people are already leaving as you made your way to the first floor, you were about to give your friends some encouraging words when Kiyoko had asked you to refill some bottles. You smiled and nodded in agreement they were about the cleanup and train for a bit so you still have time. You run to the now empty halls finding the water station, when you heard some painful cries somewhere.
It was a very painful heart shattering type of cry, that even you don't know who it was crying you had the urge to comfort them, you had followed the crying sound and it lead you into a closed door. You hesitated if you will be getting in but the pain you felt inside your hear hearing those painful sounds makes you clench your hand as you opened the door.
There sit in the floor is the bubbly captain of Aoba Josai, you had recognized the uniform and the familiar brown head. You walked near him without him noticing your presence he was crying, the cry you had heard for a while, the cry that make you shook in sadness, the cry that shattered your heart. You slowly reached up your hand to pat his head, his eyes widen with the touch. He had slowly turned to look at who it was, he was shocked it was a new face.
Oikawa: who?" he was cut off when you spoke
y/n: it's okay to cry, it's okay to loose it is a learning process and it will make you stronger" as you pat his head, I some reasons he had loved your hand on his head, it was comforting somehow calming, and with that his tears falls like never before. He was hurt too much
Oikawa: I've done my best but I am still not enough, I did my all but we are still beaten I am useless" he cried covering his eyes, you smiled at him ruffling his hair with a very gentle touch
y/n: you are not useless Tooru you know that, you learn you fall but that doesn't mean you will have to stay as loser, this time you are losers tomorrow you might be victorious" you smiled, he turned to look at you taking your hand from his head. He slowly hugged you, he felt comfortable, he felt something that is comforting as to who you are he loved your presence. You stayed for a while hugging and calming the guy he had learned to appreciate everything he had done in the end his tears was no longer there but a smiled can be seen.
Iwa: Oyy Oikawa aren't you still done crying?" another voice rings out, but before he can lecture the guy, the girl who was sitting beside him smiled and stood up to bow and leave.
Oikawa: I am not longer sulking Iwa chan, I am good now" he smiled
Iwa: good then, and who was that?" as the two looked at your walking figure
Oikawa: I don't know but she comforts me like now one can ever do, I also forgot to asked her name" he pout
Iwa: let's just go" he said as the two walked out to their buss
You had returned to the group giving them bottles
Kageyama: where have you been?" he asked annoyed

Today, is another victory for your team , your eyes were teary with tears of happiness you had cheered your heart out for them and seeing them victorious makes you extra happy.

Oikawa: Let's go Iwa chan, at least the Karasuno had won and I can say I am happy about it" he stated but before he can make another step on the stairs he saw someone familiar. The girl who comforted him yesterday was there. He eyes the smaller figure as the said girl runs down the stair.
Oikawa: that's her" he said running after her
Iwa: what the girl yesterday?" he runs after his best friend, upon reaching the first floor you've jumped to Kageyamas arms hugging you tightly. Oikawas world slowed down like it was again shattering the girl he thought he could have as his own is not to be his but for Kageyama. His face glooms as he stared at the intimated hug you two shared with the said boy, he had gritted his teeth and decided to leave.
Shoyou: Y/n~!!! did you see that?" he asked jumping
y/n: hai" you smiled still hugging the boy
Oikawa: Y/n-chan? So her name is y/n? but he had a boyfriend?" he asked clenching his hand, it pains him more that loosing you were in a relationship and what's worst with his kohai, he hated it
Iwa: Hey don't just run like that" Oikawa was already walking away
Oikawa: let's go Iwa chan" as he walked past the guy, Iwaizumi see's that you are hugging Kageyama and felt very sad for Oikawa.
y/n: congratulations niii san" you smiled as you hugged the said setter
Kageya: yeah thanks" as he smiled patting your head " but you are heavy so let go" he tease, you pout a him
y/n: I am not that heavy" and you've let go
Weeks and days passed and Oikawa seems to be gloomy still, not only cause of the lost they have in Karasuno but the fact the girl he wanted was someone's property already. He slammed the ball to the other side of the court which makes the other students shocked with the loud sound.
Kindachii: he's been like that ever since he return from our battle isn't he still over it?" he asked
Kunumi: I don't know
Iwaisumi: "it's not just the battle", the two first years look at him confused, with that he turned to look at the gym door and his eyes widen with the sight of the familiar girl. She was standing there looking shy, he walked to her and asked what she needed the uniform she wears gives that she is not from the school
Iwa: ohh hey you're that girl" he said, the girl smiled and bowed
y/n: hi I am here for someone" she smiled blushing a bit
Iwa: is it Tooru?" he asked the said girl only nodded and blushed more
y/n: is he available right now?" you asked
Iwa: He was but won't your boyfriend be angry if you go and talk to him" he asked sounding static, you blink your eyes once and twice
y/n: boyfriend?" you asked confused " I don't have a boyfriend, also the reason why I am here is for this" you offered the love letter " I might not have the courage to give it to him so please do" you bowed and smiled at the ace.
Iwa: but Kageyama?" he asked confused this time
y/n: ohh Kageyama san? He is my brother" you smiled which gives Iwaizumi some time to process what happedn
Iwa: so that guy is assuming things on his own such troublesome" he said as he called and shouted at the guy " OIII ASSIKAWA come here" he shouted taking the said guys' attention
Oikawas' eyes widen with the sight of you, you are in your normal uniform which is simple but really looks cute. He bit his tongue and decided to walked towards you looking really sad and pained, you've realized that he looks depressed just like the time you've first pat him.
y/n: Hello Oikawa san" you smiled which makes him blush
Oikawa: what do you need?" he asked as Iwaizumi left you for privacy
y/n: hmmm here" you handed him the enveloped
Oikawa: this is?" he asked blushing
y/n: my feelings for you" you smiled " I don't have the courage to say it in words but hopefully this letter is something you can consider" you smiled, he accepted the letter and gave you're a confuse look
Oikawa: but your boyfriend? Tobio Chan" he asked
y/n: ohhh that? He isn't my boyfriend" you smiled " he is my brother" and with that he blushed hard and covers his face slumping down the floor with embarrassment. The whole team looks the two of you from the sideline. He was beyond ashamed assuming things, Kageyama is your brother not your lover he almost melt in embarrassment
When he felt a very familiar hand on his head, you had pat him the hand he had loved and the hand, the hand that made him weak yet very strong. He took hold of your hand and placed it on his face which makes you blushed.
Oikawa: Y/n , please be my girlfriend" he asked you , you smiled and rub your thumb on his cheeks which is red both from crying and blushing
y/n: Of course" you smiled at the guy
Iwa: finally~!" he whisphers
Oikawa hugged you and never felt this comfortable and peace, he had found his perfect peace in your arms. You are his light and you will be forever be his peace
Bonus:
You two are walking home he had decided to take you hoe, upon reaching the house the front door opens and there stood Kageyama, he placed his arms around you in a very secured and protective hugged
Kageyama: what did you do to my sister you trash king" he asked, Oikawa smirking, he pulled you over for a very tight and comforting hug
Oikawa: I am her boyfriend" he smirk, Kageyama was furious , and the rest of the night were you being bombarded with question how you end up with Oikawa:
