It's already day 102
And I still, no doubt, love you
But until now, nothing's changed
You'll still never see me in that way
Remember day 1, when we were beside each other?
I felt the butterflies in my stomach flutter
In that moment I knew
I was having feelings for you
Day 18, I saw you at church
You were wearing a plain white shirt
When the mass ended, I went you you and you talked to me
But time was short, and soon it was time to leave
Day 59, it was my birthday
I came to class practically late
Everyone was singing a song for me
But you were the only one I wanted to see
You greeted me with a smile
And I was screaming inside
I said "thank you" happily
And I couldn't stop dancing with glee
Day 100, this is where it happened
I was just walking when I stopped and..
I saw you kissing someone else
In that moment, my smile fell
All these memories that I kept
And it honestly made no sense
What was I trying to prove?
When not once did he ever make a move
Day 102, in my bed I lay
Listening as the music plays
Tears falling down, the truth sinking in
I was not meant to be with him
