REENU pov
two days passed! after I opened my eyes all expecting me to talk something! ate something. but I didn't! VIREN always sat beside me and take care of me. he gave me food and medicine regularly. but I didn't took anything.
doctor come regularly to check me and giving advice but I didn't hear anything. I don't want anything in the world I am totally broken now! I hate myself now! I did mistake so I punishing myself!
I know I am in VIREN's room but I have no strength to move from here. if I can I want to run away somewhere to where I got a peace. it was only in my MAA lap but I lost her.
VIREN come to talk with me but he can't! he just moved out when I saw him. he didn't look at my eyes straight something stop him to look at me. did he know what he done? no! how he know in fact full mistakes was not done by him its me! no! I was the one.
I want to do something but I can't. I think many way to move out from him and the mistake but I can't. he didn't then I can't! so better face death.
chairman aunty: beti! please take food and medicine.
why should I? she asked me again and again but I didn't say anything to her so she quietly move outside. I am sorry aunty!
VIREN pov
I don't know how to make her eat food and medicine day by day she was weak and killing herself. what I was done? why she doing like this? I can't see her eyes! something stops me to see her. what is it?
those beautiful eyes always shows pain only pain and tears. why I can't stand in front of her eyesight. I can't stand before her because of her eyes. please God! give me strength to stand before her!
chairman aunty: I tried but she not hear me!
doctor: I don't know what's in her mind killing her!
Rajiv: maybe I can talk.......!
doctor: you! you good for nothing
Rajiv: hei! you don't know me! girls are after me to hear my sweet lecture!
doctor: Mr! it is not about lecturing! she need some caring words! so don't try!
VIREN: JUST SHUT UP!
(I shout to stop their talk! their talks are killing me! )
doctor: Mr! we stop but she is losing her life!
chairman aunty: beta! it is not good !
Rajiv: VIREN! we don't like this!
VIREN: WHAT I DID?

(three said in chorus! I shook my head and go inside the room! I turn to see they are in doorstep! I locked the room door because they not want to hear our talks!)
I take slow steps and move to bedside and sit beside her. It feel totally different I take the guts and turn to see her face. she closed her eyes but tears are rolling down. oh! she is crying
I take my hand wiped her tears. she opened her eyes! but I closed my eyes and bow down my eyesight! God! give me the guts!
VIREN:REENU! please take the medicine! I know I did mistake! punish me! why you risking your life?
(she didn't say anything! don't stop)
I need you! I accept the punishment. so please have food and medicine! I need you! don't leave me! I......!
REENU: why you need me?
(suddenly! I head up to see her! she sit up and lean in the headboard) answer me! why you need me?
(I don't know how to answer her question! 'say to her truth' no! it's not correct time!)
VIREN: as a friend I need you!
REENU: as a friend! "just friend"
she started to laugh but caught a cough! I pick up water glass and give it to her! she sip it three times and keep down
REENU: just friend and for the fake relation we made!
(I don't know what to say! I want to say for me! for my love! for our future...!) it's not funny VIREN!
VIREN: what?
REENU: you know why I am in this state ( I shook my head as no! she smirked) the reasons are same!
VIREN : WHAT!
( she hold my collar shirt angrily!)
REENU: why you come into my life? why you asked me " just friend" relationship? why I leave my mother? why you want my forgiveness?
because I am in my punishment. she didn't forgive me! she left me! she punished me! she.....she is gone!
(I am in shock! she hold my collar and cried in my shoulder! but I can't hold her! hug her! console her! even I can't touch her! my hands are tied with her words)
VIREN: wh...what you.....mean?
REENU: you didn't hear (she shouted) MY MAA IS DEAD! SHE DIED 1 WEEK BEFORE BUT I DIDN'T KNOW THAT NO ONE INFORM ME! SHE PUNISHED ME! say how I feel now!
I don't want to live! I can't! I am failed! why I want to live! why you do this? why you.......?
(she shook my body! but I am lost in some where! she fell down in bed and cried continuously!)
I run to open the door all three heads look at me but I push them all and run outside to take the steps and go to terrace I fell down on my knees and cried out with tears
VIREN: MAAAAAA!
Rajiv pov
we are struck between them. we like to help! but she is stubborn not ready to hear anyone words! and he!
he didn't do anything just standing like statue. what happened in between them? at last we try and push VIREN to talk to her. he entered in and closed the door. did he going to celebrate his suhagraat why he locked the door?
we are waiting outside and eavesdropping to hear anyone noise but we only hear her shouting words
"MY MAA IS DEAD! SHE DIED 1 WEEK BEFORE BUT I DIDN'T KNOW THAT NO ONE INFORM ME! SHE PUNISHED ME! "
we all three get shocked suddenly VIREN come out pushed them all and run outside! we didn't follow him! we think about only REENU condition
chairman aunty: poor girl! see how she is crying?
(but why I hear whimper sound near me. I turn to see the lady doctor weeping)
Rajiv: doctor! why are you weeping!
doctor: I also lost my MAA!(whimper)
Rajiv: what? when?
doctor: in my childhood! thinking about her I can't control( whimper)
Rajiv: just stop! it is not time to cry! think......!
at last I got one idea! I took out the phone and call the person ring is going on
Rajiv: hello MAA!
yeah! I am fine!
ok! hear carefully!
I told everything about REENU! how I meet her? how she is now? and how I need her help! and I cut the call.
I take the glass of milk and entered room. there she bend down and wimper loudly. I can't see her like this. she is a good and childish girl. how someone make her cry. I closed my eyes to stop my tears it is not time!
Rajiv: REENU!
(she sit straight! but bow down her head not ready to turn my side!)
I again take out the mobile and call its ringed she pick up immediately!
Rajiv: hello MAA!
(when hear this word her head turn up to see me!) she is here talk !
I passed the phone to REENU! she didn't know what I am implying
Rajiv: talk!
(with shaking hands she take the mobile from me and hold it near her ears)
'MAA: hello! beti! I am Rajiv's MAA!'
(she didn't wish her back)
'MAA: I am like your MAA too call me MAA!'
REENU: MAA!
(she called her and started to cry)
'MAA: what is this my daughter? are you crying? I don't like it! please don't cry!'
REENU: MAA!
'MAA: beti! if you think your mother get happy in your tears? don't do it! why you not taking your food?'
REENU: MAA! FORGIVE ME!
'MAA: I forgive you my child! I forgive you! as a good girl drink the milk!
REENU: no! I don't!
'MAA: what is this beti? you not obey your mother! are you good daughter or bad daughter!'
REENU: I am good daughter! I always obey you!
'MAA: then do it quickly! drink the milk!'
she suddenly turn my side and ask the milk glass and gulped it immediately
REENU: MAA! I DID IT!
'MAA: good! then medicine!'
I pass the medicine she take it and gulped it.
REENU: MAA! I did!
'MAA: then I am happy! I am really happy for you!'
REENU: MAA! I am sorry! forgive my mistake! I want to change everything!
'MAA: my child! mistakes are done by humans but forgiveness only given by God! Jesus Christ always forgive his child who ask forgiveness!
you can't change the things happened in past but stop the mistake which going to happened.
