No. This can't be happening. It's all too soon. Make it stop. Please. Somebody. Anybody. Just make it stop.
I am staring at the cherry tree.
It's dead.
Right now it's the cherry tree, later on it will be some other tree, and in no time the whole garden will be dead followed by the whole forest, and after that.
The battle happens.
This is all happening too soon. Why is it happening so soon? I thought we still had time. I thought we could still had some time to be happy before going on with the truth. I thought we could still had some time to live without becoming a part of history.
"Jasmine." Danny called bringing me back to reality.
"Are you alright? We can go back if you want to." He asked in a concerned tone.
"It's all too soon." I mumbled
"What?" He asked.
"This all happening to fast. I mean we just got together again and the battle is not too far. If something happens to you I-." I covered my mouth and tears started to fall freely.
"Hey now, it's ok. Nothing will happen to me." He said while hugging me.
Then there's me sobbing.
I held on to him. As if I was gonna lose him, hopefully I won't. Gosh that would be terrible. I can't imagine life without him.. I love him so much. Already. It's so horrifying just to even think of something happening to him.
"There there. Let's go inside." He said.
I think I kinda fixed my face by wiping off the tears. Well, at least no one can understand I cried............a river. Hopefully they won't. But they will understand something has been bothering me.
We walked back inside, because, duh! Do you think I would be able to stay in that view or atmosphere or situation or whatever you wanna call it.
"What's up with you guys?" Mysha asked.
"Yeah. Why the short face?" The dryad asked.
I wanted to laugh at that so bad. But I couldn't when I remembered I was supposed to be sad.
"It's. Why the long face. Not short." Danny corrected.
"My bad. But seriously. What's wrong?" The dryad asked.
"Haven't you guys been looking outside?" I asked with a little bit more of a loud tone.
"No." The dryad and Mysha said together while shaking their heads together.
"What?!" Danny yelled.
"And I was over here thinking that your stalking would be useful in this situation." I said and facepalmed.
"Will you guys stop overreacting and just tell what happened." Mysha said.
"It's the third sign." I said.
"Already!?" Mysha and the dryad exclaimed together.
"I know." I included.
"Guys, stop being surprised by this. We all knew this was going to happen. Plus, aren't we people here to actually fight against him." Danny said.
"Oh yeah, right. Exactly, correct. Very good point Danny." I said.
He rolled his eyes and then facepalmed in a very annoyed way. I don't blame him... I mean I would to the same if I were in his place and someone became dumb like me at that point.
We all are in silence. Thinking what to do next. Staying alert because "The Shadow" that creature can do anything. I mean legit anything.
Why does he even exist? No use.
All of a sudden, the lights started flickering, the lights were on because it was dark. Duh. But they started flickering, which is not a good sign in a magical world. The lights flickering wasn't enough, everything had to be covered in smoke, just like when I had that flashback with Danny in negative.
"Oh god. What is happening?" Mysha said in a frightened tone.
She must be so scared right now. I mean, even I am. I am literally holding on to Danny from the back. Like when this all started to happen I screamed and went to Danny. Why? Because...... Reasons
"Danny.... I am scared. I don't like this. This is what happened when I passed out that day." I said.
"Shit. Well. Hold on to me Jasmine. I'll protect you. In every way." He replied.
I love how he is prepared for everything. He is very brave. Unlike me.
"This must be his trick!" The dryad said.
"Correct answer, my dear dryad." An unknown voice spoke.
"Who was that?" Mysha yelled.
"It is me. The shadow." He said and appeared in front of our eyes
Holy shit. He is even more scary in this world. Eyeless and noseless creature with vampire teeth. You can imagine how scary he is.
"I thought it was high time since I met you people." The shadow said.
"You frickin pain in the-" Danny said while going towards him.
"Danny no! You can't." I yelled and pulled him back.
Like is he out of his mind? What if something happened to him? Does he even know what would happen to ME if something happened to HIM?
"Well well well. We see a brave man. Daniel? Isn't it?" The shadow said.
"Just go away from here!" I yelled.
"Don't you dare talk to me like that Jessica." The shadow said
He did something which caused my head to hurt a lot, and forced me to remember memories which flew away because of my amnesia. This time the memory is something far off better not to be remembered. It was the time when I had my accident.
I held my head and screamed out of pain. I legit felt like Harry Potter when his scar was touched by Voldemort.
"Leave me alone you asshole!" I yelled.
"How'd you like that Jessica?" The shadow said.
"Oh you will know when I defeat your ass in the battle." Danny said.
"Oh my! May I know where do you get you bravery from? Because I am certain, it will be gone by tomorrow." The shadow said.
"What will you do tomorrow?" The dryad asked.
"Oh you'll find out tomorrow." The shadow said and vanished into thin air.
Ok people. Panic time! How exciting.
"Guys calm down. How about we start planning?" The dryad said.
"He may have all the power if this world. But we have positive attitudes and strong will power!" I blurted out.
"Exactly!" Danny included.
"Just kidding! We're all gonna die tomorrow!" I yelled.
"Are you serious right now!" Danny said with an equal tone of yelling as mine.
"I don't know should I be? I am so freaked out right now!" I yelled.
"Will you guys shut up! He came here and threatened us! We gotta act quick!" Mysha yelled.
I swear to god. We are the most dysfuctional group of magical people.
But hey, not my fault, this is my first time ever and hopefully the last time ever in this world. If someone comes and threatenes me like that. I am gonna freak out. A lot. Like I don't wanna die this young. I am only twenty one!
Dear god, help us please.
