Nick's pov:
Nagresearch ako sa kung aano ba talaga yung nawawala sa'kin. Alam niyo na, find the missing link kumbaga. Since narinig ko na ayaw ni Jacob na bumalik sa kin kung ano man yung nawala ko two years ago.
Una nagpunta ako sa family doctor namin at siya nga din yung naging doctor ko nung naaksidente ako. Sinabi niya na isa nga daw sa kinakatakutan nila nung mga panahon na yun eh ang mawala yung memorya ko, pero nung pagkagising ko daw hindi ako nagpakita ng kahit na anong signs na nawala yung memorya ko. Kaya hindi na sila nag-run ng tests. I'm scheduled to have further examinations next week, but I can't wait for another week. Sobrang tagal nun!
Tapos naalala ko yung tickets sa amusement park na nasa loob ng box. Kaya naman bumalik ako doon. Tinanong ko yung manager ng park kung may nagpareserve ba on the day na nakalagay sa ticket. At first they don't want to show their records, hindi naman ako pwede gumamit ng koneksyon kundi, PAKTAY AKO KAY JACOB! Kaya ayun, I just used my acting prowess. AYEAH! Drinamahan ko sila at kumagat naman ang mga loko. Wag sana nila tong mabasa. Hehe. Baka balikan ako ng mga yun.
Anyways, back to the search thingy. They give me a little bit of the information I needed. A guy named Dominic Salazar made reservations on the exact date as the date in the tickets that I have. Pero sabi nila hanggang doon lang yung kaya nila. WEAK niyo mga dude!
Kaya sariling sikap na naman. I searched his name sa google. Dominic Salazar turns out to be the only son of a rich businessman in the country, and may sister siya. Cheska Salazar. Which is, if I remember it right, classmate ko siya sa dating university na pinapasukan ko. Back to Dominic naman, he’s 2 years older. May picture din na pinakita dun and he's the same guy in my dreams! So totoo siyang tao? Akala ko imagination ko lang eh.
I've been staring at my laptop for almost half a day now. It's been three days of research and it brought me nowhere. Walang masyadong information na binigay sa internet about this guy. He seems so private. HAAAAYYY!! Is it dead end??
Denise come rushing through my door, screaming. "Mommy!! My fathers are here!!" tapos hinatak niya yung kamay ko habang sumisigaw ng "family day! family day!". At muli na naman pong nawala ang stress ko sa buhay.
Pagbaba namin ng hagdan, nandoon nga yung dalawang bugok. Tss. Tatlong araw ko na silang kinokontak. Nakailang daang texts at missed calls na rin ako sa kanila, pero kahit isa sa dalawa wala man lang sumasagot sa tawag o nagrereply sa texts ko.
"WOW! Anong masamang hangin ang nagdala sa inyo dito??" tanong ko sa dalawa.
"Magbihis ka Nick. May pupuntahan tayo." bungad ni Erick.
"Hindi ako nakahubad Erick. Ano bang trip niyo na namang dalawa?"
"Nick. Just do what we say, okay? It's important." sabi naman ni Charles.
"Family day! Family day!" Si Denise, bigla naman siyang yumakap sa mga tatay niya.
"Teka nga Charles, kelan pa ko sumunod sa inyo?" sabi ko habang nakataas ang kilay at nakapamewang.
"Never. But we're hoping that you'll listen to us this time. Just this one time." Sagot ni Erick.
"Not until you give me a valid reason."
Bigla namang tumakbo pabalik sa kin si Denise after may ibulong sa kanya si Charles. Ano na namang balak ng mga to?
"Mommy. Let's go!" sabay hawak na naman sa kamay ko at hatak papunta sa hagdan.
"Where?"
"Upstairs. I'll dress you up!" sabi niya and her face is glowing with a smile.
"No you won't"
"You're going to wear sexy heels mommy." And she flashed those irresistible smile of hers.
"Sexy whaat?! Where did you get that word?!"
At katulad ng isang normal na bata na pipagalitan, she did the kitty cat eyes tapos tinuro yung dalawa niyang tatay. "They always say you're sexy when you wear heels."
Tinignan ko naman ng masama yung dalawa tapos nakangiti lang sila sa'kin. Tss! Mga siraulo. Kung anu-ano tinuturo sa bata. Bad influence.
Umakyat naman kami ni Denise at nagbihis na ko. AND I DIDN'T WEAR HEELS. Ano ko??! Uto-uto lang?? NOOO WAAAAYY!! So I'm wearing my normal attire. Shirt. Jeans. Chucks. Okay na di ba? Pang-lakad na yan.
Nung bumaba na kami mukhang disappointed yung dalawa. Psh! They deserve some disappointments today.
"Sa'n ba tayo pupunta?"
"Oo nga? Where are you going?" Tanong ni Jacob. Kakalabas niya lang sa office niya.
"Good thing you're here." sabi naman ni Charles
"Yeah. Iiwan muna namin sa'yo si Denise ah." si Erick naman yun
Tapos kinuha nila sa'kin si Denise at inabot sa tito niya.
"I'm not included in the family day?" She asked, her face is in a frown.
"We're really sorry Denise. But it's only mommy today." paliwanag ni Charles.
"We'll make it up to you we promise!" bawi ni Erick.
Tapos ako naman yung hinatak nila palabas ng bahay at isinakay sa kotse ni Charles tapos umalis. Kung saan papunta? Wala akong idea.
After a few minutes nasa tapat na kami ng mall.
"Seryoso? Sa mall? At gusto niyo pa talaga akong magheels ah."
Tumawa lang silang dalawa. Mga putcha. Ano ba ko dito? Tss. Ano ba talagang ginagawa nila?
"Pwede ka nang bumaba Nick." sabi ni Erick.
"Ha? Hindi kayo sasama sa'kin?" Tinignan ko ulit yung mall, nun ko lang napansin, walang taong pumapasok. Madilim din sa loob. "Sigurado ba kayong pwedeng pumasok diyan? Mukhang walang tao oh."
"Are you going inside that mall or do you want us to shove your ass off of the backseat and throw you in there?" sabi ni Charles.
"Wow.." I’m actually stunned by his words.
"Tol, did you just say ass?" tanong ni Erick.
Tumango naman ako. "Pwede paki-ulit?" hehehe.
"PRINCESS NICOLE MADRIGAL!" inis na tawag ni Charles sa pangalan ko.
"Fine! Fine! Pero kapag ako pinagtitripan niyong dalawa, siguruhin niyo lang na magaling kayong magtago." sabay baba ng sasakyan tapos lakad papasok ng mall. Ang weird. Ang creepy pala ng isang mall kapag walang tao tapos medyo dim light pa ano? Badtrip. Bakit ba kasi ang lakas ng tiwala ko na hindi ako ipapahamak ng dalawang yun??!
Hindi naman ako pumasok talaga. Nandoon lang ako malapit sa pintuan just in case may killer sa loob. Pero siguro naman wala diba? I don't think those two guys want me dead.
As I'm staring ahead. I started seeing a silhouette of a guy. Biglang bumilis yung tibok ng dibdib ko. He's walking towards me and I remember this scene. Ito yung panaginip ko nung nakaraang nakaraang araw. *Actually yun na yung last time na napaginipan ko siya.*
Nung halos 1 meter na lang yung layo niya sa'kin, I saw his face. SIYA NGA!!
"You-- you're real?"
Ngumiti siya. "The last time I check, I am."
"Hala! You're talking!!"
Tumawa naman siya this time. "Halalalalalalala!! You're laughing."
"Ofcourse princess. I talk and I laugh. I'm real and I'm here."
Princess? Tinawag niya ba kong princess?!
"Teka. Anong tinawag mo sa'kin?"
This time naging seryoso yung itsura niya. MOOD SWINGS?! Tss! Alam ko ako lang dapat meron nun ah.
"If you're still you after two years, I bet your curiosity's killing you now. And you've been finding answers to your questions."
"Sino ka ba? And why do you act like you know me?"
"I'm Dominic Salazar."
"I know that, but who you are in my life… that's... that's what I've been trying to figure out."
Hinintay ko yung kasunod na sasabihin niya, pero bigla na lang niya kong hinatak at dinala sa tapat ng isa sa mga stalls doon. Katulad nang sinabi ko kanina, dim sa loob ng mall kaya naman hindi ko makita kung ano ba yung gusto niyang ipakita sa loob nun.
"Are you ready?"
"Ready?! Eh siraulo ka pala eh. Hinatak mo na ko dito tsaka mo itatanong if I'm ready?!"
Tumawa na naman siya. Wala namang nakakatawa. Nakakaasar ah! Mas mabuti pa nasa panaginip ko na lang siya eh.
"So you're ready." Tapos as if on cue, napuno ng tugtog yung buong paligid. Umilaw yung stall na nasa harap namin. Napalingon ako, I saw inside three bears about three feet in height. A girl bear and a guy bear right next to her. Tapos sa harap nilang dalawa, another guy bear with a sad face?
There I was again tonight.
Forcing laughter. Faking smiles.
Same old tired lonely place.
Nagkunot yung noo ko, what the hell does this mean?
As if hearing the question in my head, nagsalita yung lalaki sa tabi ko. Ngayon ko lang napansin na he’s so close.

Naglakad na kami sa kasunod na stall, and it lighten up again. This time just two bears in a porch. The sad bear is not sad anymore and the girl bear is... happy.

Sa sumunod, it’s the two bears again. But this time wala sila sa porch. Nasa garden sila, and they're kissing. I must say, it looks soo kyuuuut. Hindi ko napigilang ngumiti.
"They're idiots." yun lang yung nasabi ko. They both love each other but the girl is pushing the guy away when obviously the guy loves her soo much.
He chuckled. "Maybe more idiot moments?"
The lingering questions kept me up.

Tapos pumunta naman kami sa kasunod. As the light on the next stall open, a sudden wave of emotion rushed through me. The setting now is outside our house. It really looks like our house. Pinaliit lang.. Gabi na and the guy bear is down on one of his knees while holding the hand of the girl bear and putting a string ring sa ring finger niya. I think he's proposing.
And now I’m pacing back and forth
wishing you were at my door.
I’d open up and you would say.
After ng stall na yun, everything just felt different. It's just I feel a lot of emotion. Pero mas marami yung sadness, but we still continued.

Sa sumunod na stall. Sa amusement park and there are lights everywhere. Yung paa ni girl bear *which looks so different with that suit, short-shorts and wig* eh nakatuntong sa paa ni sad bear.

I'm now realizing. It's me and it's just so frustrating that I can't remember all these. All the scenes.. I'm afraid that if I continued, I can see all these scenes and still can't remember anything. About the sad bear. About the bear in the porch, at the garden, the proposal. Everything. Pa'no kung hindi ko na siya maalala?

Hindi na napigilan ng mga luha ko. Nalaglag na sila sa mga mata ko. Why am I affected by his sadness. Yung puso ko parang nasasaktan sa lungkot na meron siya.
"I can't do this anymore." Tapos tumakbo ako palayo. Nung malapit na ko sa pinto ng mall, nag-ilaw na lahat ng stalls na natitira. Lumingon ako and I saw different scenes. There's this scene where the two bears are in bed just cuddling. The other one, under the rain. The two bears are kissing. The next is the two bears hugging. The girl bear's dress is ripped and there are five other bears na nakahandusay sa sahig. The last one is at a party. The girl bear is stepping at the sad bear's foot.
Tapos bigla na siyang nasa harap ko.
"I'm sorry I left."
Ang laki laki ng mall pero bakit parang ang sikip ng pakiramdam ko. Parang punung-puno ng lungkot yung paligid?
Tumalikod ako at naglakad palabas. Naramdaman kong hinawakan niya ko sa braso ko and he spin me around to face him.
"This is the last thing you need to do. If this doesn't work. I'll let you go." he said with so much pain.
But he'll let me what? He'll let me go? Why? Did I told him to let go of me? I never wanted him to leave. I feel like I don't want him to leave.
May kinuha siya sa back pocket ng jeans niya and then inabot niya sa'kin. Nung tinignan ko kung ano yun. It's the other pair of shoe I have in my box. Bakit nasa kanya to? Nung titignan ko na ulit siya, he's not in front of me. Where the hell?? I saw him walking away from me.
