*Y/N*
You sighed as James dragged himself in from the bar for the fifth time this week. You understood that he is depressed about Danny leaving the band, but he is neglecting the person who is most important, himself. He has alcohol for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He barely says a thing, and we barely even talk anymore and you are supposed to be his girlfriend. It is really hard on all of us. You understood that him and Ben are taking it the worst but they needed to pull out of the funk that they were in. You were seriously worried about the two of them. They would both go out to a bar somewhere and come home sloppy drunk. Ben has been living with you and James for a little while until he can get an apartment after his divorce. You knew that some of the drinking had to do with that as well. You knew that Ben was going through a hard time because him and girl Sam had been together for a while. James was just going along with it because he misses Danny, and he wants to drink to forget about it. You sigh and sit down at the counter in the kitchen and rest your head in your hands. You couldn't help but to let a few tears slip from your eyes. You wanted back the James that you could joke around with and just be a couple with. Here lately, you guys haven't done any of that. The last time that you guys had even hugged was maybe a month ago. Things are really starting to get out of hand. Ben soon busts through the door with a smile on his face. He stops when he sees the tears on your cheeks. He comes over and sits down beside you.
"What's wrong (Y/N)?"
He asks.
You sigh and wipe the tears from your cheeks.
"I'm worried about James. I don't know what to do anymore. He turns to drinking everyday, it's like I don't even know who he is anymore. We used to talk about anything and everything and now he won't even say three words to me. He sleeps in the spare room most of the time or in the game room on the couch after he passes out from drinking."
You cry.
Ben wraps his arms around you and you cry into his chest. He rests his chin on your head and sighs.
"Things are going to get better. I found a new lead singer, and I am going to get us back on tour with the band. It will be good for him. Get his mind off of things."
He says.
"Its just that he barely talks to me at all. It worries me. I can't help but to think that this might be the end of us."
You say, wiping the tears falling down your cheeks.
"James might not be showing it right now, but he loves you a lot. I've never seen him this happy with anyone before. Things are going to get better between the two of you. I promise."
He says.

*few months later*
You and James are okay again. He finally talks to you instead of going out and drinking every night to numb himself from his problems. Ben is still living with the two of you for the time being and they are about to go on Warped Tour which James is making you go on as well. Which leads you to your task at hand today, packing. James soon comes in and wraps his arms around your waist. You smile and lean into him.
"I'm really glad that you are getting to come with us."
He says.
"Me too. It has been so long since I have seen you guys perform."
You say.

*a few days later*
You were confused when the music stopped. Denis walks over to James and hands the mic over.
"I would like to bring my beautiful girlfriend out on stage for a little bit."
He says into the mic.
Ben immediately comes over and pulls you onstage. You stood in front of James. He takes a deep breath and pulls a little black box out of his pocket before dropping down to one knee. You gasp and cover your mouth.
"(Y/F/N), you are the light in my world. You have helped me through so much these past few years that we have been together and I thank you everyday for that. I thank the day that we bumped into each other at the coffee shop and you spilled your coffee on me. So, will you do me the honors of becoming my (Y/N) Cassells?"
He asks.
You immediately nodd. He grins and takes the ring out of the box with shaking hands. He then slids it in place on your finger. He stands up and wraps his arms around you.
"Our forever starts today."
He says.
