Cassie's POV.
It's now April, cold but nice. The flowers were growing all around and the air had that cool and crisp time before the hot weather came.
I was working a lot on my painting..which was weird because I never thought I was artistic.
I usually sit by the bay or something and paint the landscape or trees in the park near it, the colors of the leaves in the fall or the bright flowers this time of year. Or I had a blanket and read with the sound of the breeze and waves to comfort me.
I've finally been feeling okay. Content with how I was now. My heart still wasn't full sewn back together, but it was better than back in December.
Niall and I still talk sometimes..he's been busy and I've gone to work and things. I've finished school early and I now write for a newspaper and do stories as well as working on my book and working parttime at Starbucks.
It's still a lot.. but summer's coming.
I was headed home after reading a bit at the park when people would walk by me and tell me:
"Go to the corner"
The first person who said it, I thought they meant I should be a prostitiute...like hanging around the corner..but everyone kept saying:
"Go to the corner"
or
"Go to the corner of the street."
or
"Go where he first saw you."
And I didn't get it..then people started pointing me in a certain direction. I followed them and then I ended up on the corner of 2nd and Johnson..I saw a crowd of people right there where the traffic pole was. I walked over and I heard a strum of a guitar and a familiar voice.

Niall's POV.
"Going back to the corner where I first saw you.
Gonna camp in my sleeping back, I'm not gonna move.
Got some words on cardboard, got your picture in my hand
saying, "If you see this girl can you tell her where I am?"
Some try to hand me money, they don't understand
I'm not broke, I'm just a broken hearted man
I know it makes no sense but what else can I do?
How can I move on when I'm still in love with you?

I said, "There's someone I'm waiting for if it's a day, a month, a year."

If she changes her mind this is the first place she will go.

Cassie's POV.
I watched him look up at me through the whole song. The people around us did double takes from the picture to me.
But Niall and I looked at each other like we were the only two people there on that whole corner.
He watched me with those sparkling blue eyes..the one's I've missed so much. The deep ocean blue shown through the red and puffiness of his eyes like he's been crying.
But no matter how many people shoved past me or how many teenage girls gave me nasty looks for breaking Niall Horan's heart, I don't care. I knew the truth..and I knew that for as long as it's taken me after I found out to feel okay, I finally do, and I wanted him back but I didn't know how.
But now here he is..sitting on the corner where we first met, singing to strangers and now me...telling me how much he misses me, how sorry he is..and how much he loves me.
Even though he doesn't actually say it, I saw it in his eyes...
I saw it in his heart...which I held in my hands, it was still perfectly in tact..
There were times when I wanted to smash it on the floor and stomp on it and throw it and just rip it in piece's, but I didn't..because I knew that we would go back to normal someday..even if I didn't know it then, I know now.

Niall's POV.
I finished singing and people clapped but all that mattered was her.
In a sea of people and the only person I see is her. She was the only one I wanted.
As loud as it was, I heard her whisper "I love you." and it was perfectly clear. I got up and hugged her. I picked her and and squeezed her like it was the last time I'd ever see her. She was my everything. She had my heart..and she didn't try to break it. She kept it perfect..beating and everything.
People "awwed" all around us, but all that was on my mind was her in my arms.
I let her down and looked at her.
"I'm so sorry for everything and I loved you more than life itself. Please, never leave me." I said to her. She smiled, tears down her cheeks.
"Never. I will never leave you for as long as I live. I love you so much." She said and she crashed her lips to mine.
The thing I've missed the most was the taste of her lips. The way her lips were always so soft and the way our mouths moved together in sync. When we stepped back into reality and out of our dream world, we'd realized it's started raining.
The pitter patter of rain and the sound of splashing and our feet running on the pavement moved in sync with the quick and steady beat of my heart, which hasn't been beating in months and is now functioning..all because of her.

Cassie's POV.
We ran into a book store since it was a terrible storm outside. It was cozy and small. The thunder was booming outside like bombs and lightening lit up the whole world in the darkness of the blackened sky above us.
The kind man let us sit in the back with the couches and chairs even though he was closed.
I grabbed a book and we cuddled on the couch while we both read.

I remember falling asleep on a couch in the book store and I woke up wrapped warm in Niall and I's bed in a huge 'crazy mofos' tee that Niall had made a few months ago. There were candles burning and the sweet smell of cinnamon and apple filled the room. My favorite candles.
I was alone and a bit confused honestly. I got up and walked around the house searching for Niall and I found a note on the counter:
"I bet you're wondering how you got home, well we both fell asleep and the man was locking up so I carried you home since I didn't want to wake you. I'm at the store since we'll have no food when you wake up..I know it's early but I couldn't sleep anyway, too much on my mind since what happened today. Anyway, I love you princess. be home as soon as I can."
It was 3 am..why was he out so late?
I called his phone and he didn't answer. I thought maybe he was in the checkout line. I waited a bit and he didn't come home.
I had fallen asleep on the couch and woke up around 10 am. Niall wasn't in the bedroom and his car wasn't in the drive. I called again and got no answer.
"Hey Paul?" I asked.
"Yeah what's up?" He said.
"Have you heard from Niall?" I asked getting a coat on.
"No I haven't. Is he okay?" He asked.
"I don't know, he went to get food early this morning and he hasn't answered his phone and isn't home yet. I'm just worried." I said.
"Try one of the boys, maybe they'd know."
I hadn't even thought of that!
I called all the boys and they didn't see him..so I drove around a bit hoping to find him.
"Niall.where are you?" I whispered to myself.

Niall's POV.
"I did it, I finally got her back. Just like I said I would. I know we haven't talked in a while but how is everything. I hope they're good. I miss you. But you wanna know what I did? I sang a song, on the corner where we met..and people started watching and I had a picture and they must've noticed her and she came too...and she saw me..and she told me she loved me..I can't believe I got her back..I did it and it was all because of you. I love you so much....
Rest in paradise."
**So I bet you can guess who Niall was talking to! BUT...
YAYAYAYAYAY THEY'RE BACK TOGETHER OMG YAY.
