I'm sad that Brennen will be leaving in one month. I never really asked him why he was leaving all I know he is moving in with his dad. Me and Brennen are hanging out almost everyday since he is leaving I'm crying even thinking about it.He is on his way to my house right now.
" Alex?" Brennen says opening the door.
I wipe my tears away.
" In here." I say.
"Hey Ale-" he stops.
" What's wrong." He says coming and sitting by me.
" How do you always know when something is wrong." I laugh wiping more tears from my cheeks.
" Because I know when you cry Alex." He says wiping my cheek.
" So tell me what's wrong." He says softly.
" It's really stupid, I was just thinking about how you are leaving in a month."
" Baby it's okay." He says.
" Brennen why are you leaving?" I ask him.
He sighs.
" Alex school gets out in 1 month you go to college. I'm leaving because I want to find myself I don't want to go to college I want to have fun!"
What?
" that's it? You want to leave because you want to
' Find yourself' that's bullshit Brennen. what about me Brennen does that mean we will be done because you want to have fun?"
" Alex why can't you be happy for me?"
" How can I? I can't even wrap my mind around
The fact you will be gone how you leaving me. You want to leave because you don't want to face reality Brennen."
" Come with me!" He smiles.
" And do what? Sit in a apartment doing my college school work while you go have fun? Leave my family so you can go have fun?"
" So you're saying you want me to be in this town being bored all the times So you can do your thing?"
" we obviously have different plans for the future." I say.
" Yeah we obviously do."
" I think we should end things Brennen we are just holding each other back for what we want to do."
" Yeah whatever." He says walking away and slamming the door.
