Hey everyone!
So, Thanksgiving Break starts Monday, which is today, and it's goes all the way until Friday, after which is the weekend of course.
But I will be writing a lot this break, and so hopefully, I'll be able to get chapters out quicker.
But anyways, let's continue with the story.

~Lucy's POV~
"The firework show starts in four hours, so we only have three hours to get ready," Mira informed us, taking a seat at the kitchen table.
"Why do you girls need three hours to get ready? It takes us guys like ten minutes," Natsu said, taking a bite of his pizza.
I rolled my eyes. Boys.
"Never question the amount of time a girl takes to get ready," Mira chastised, pointing her fork at Natsu.
Natsu held his hands up in mock surrender. "My bad."
After lunch, Mira practically pushed the guys out of our room, telling them to hurry up and change, and not to come back until she told them to.
I never did understand Mira's plans.
I headed up to my room, taking out my dress, and entering the bathroom. Once I had changed, I exited to find Levy sitting on my bed with a smile.
I raised an eyebrow at her. "Don't you have to change, Lev?"
"I'm here to do your hair and makeup," she informed me.
"I know, but don't you want to change first?" I asked, taking a seat in front of my mirror.
"I'll change afterwards," she said, heating up the curling wand.
"Curled?" I asked.
"Just the tips. Trust me, when I'm finished, Natsu won't be able to take his eyes off you," Levy promised.
"He isn't able to do that anyways," Lisanna said, entering my room.
I rolled my eyes. "How come you guys notice these things, but I don't?"
"Because you're too busy staring into his eyes," Levy said, laughing.
"I am not!" I protested.
"Don't even try, Lu. You are," Lisanna told me, brushing her hair.
I sighed, shaking my head.
"By the way, did Mira tell you guys that we only have two days left for this trip?" Lisanna asked.
I nodded. "She called me over and told me to make the best of the days left on this trip."
Lisanna laughed. "You know what she meant by that, right?"
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, I know."
"Wait, we only have two days left?" Levy asked.
I nodded. "Yeah. You didn't know?"
Levy shook her head. "Nope."
"But she announced it when we were all sitting together," I said.
"When?" Levy asked.
"This morning," I said.
"You mean when Gajeel and I went out to eat breakfast?"
"Oh yeah. You guys weren't there," I said.
Levy nodded, laughing.
"Well, now you know."
"Now I do," she agreed.
After Levy finished with my hair and makeup, she went to go change, and then I did hers.
"We're heading downstairs Lu, you coming?" Levy asked me.
"You guys go ahead, I'll be down in a sec," I said, knowing that the guys were already downstairs.
"Okay, but be quick. You don't want to face an angry Mira," Lisanna said.
I laughed. "I will."
Once they had left, I opened my drawer and took out a photo of Natsu and I. I ran my fingers over it, letting out a sigh.
I couldn't believe Natsu had asked me to the couple's firework festival. It was supposed to be good luck for couples who watched the fireworks together.
But I honestly doubted he knew that, since I knew this was all part of Mira's plans.
I put the photo back in the drawer, and exited my room. As I walked down the stairs, I spotted Natsu, whose eyes connected with mine.
He didn't break our gaze, even when I reached the bottom of the stairs, and started walking towards him.
I noticed that everyone else was watching us, so I stopped a few steps away from him, smiling, but he just continued to stare at me.
I waved my hand in front of his face. "Earth to Natsu!"
Natsu blinked, and did a once over, before meeting my eyes again.
He smiled sheepishly. "Sorry."
Everyone around us tried to stifle their laughs, but it didn't work.
Just then, Mira came into the room, and clapped her hands.
"Hurry up or we'll be late!" Mira ordered, exiting the room with Laxus.
The others went ahead of us, and just as I was about to follow them, Natsu grabbed my wrist.
I raised my eyebrow at him, but didn't say anything.
"You look beautiful," he said, grinning.
I felt the heat rising to my cheeks. "Thanks."
Natsu wrapped my hand around his. "No problem. Now let's catch up with the others before Mira notices we're missing."
We rode the elevator down to the lobby, and slid into the car. Once we got to the show, I noticed a stage set up, and people crowding it.
Why was there a stage here?
I laid out a blanket, placing the picnic basket on it. We weren't having a picnic obviously, but we all packed some snacks to eat during the show.
"I'll be back," Natsu whispered.
I nodded, and sat down on my blanket. As I scanned the area, I noticed a lot of couples around.
The others had set up around where I had, so I was sort of in the middle.
Just then Natsu came onto the stage, holding a mic, and smiling.
The couples who were sitting down, stood up, so I did as well, although I had no clue what was going on.
I looked around to see the guys smirking, but the girls looked just as confused as I did. Well, besides Mira and Lisanna.
"Can I have your attention everyone?" Natsu asked.
The talking died down, and everyone brought their attention to Natsu.
"I have something I want to say to you, Luce," Natsu said.
I slowly walked forward, stopping a few feet from the stage, completely confused.
"It's been a while since you joined the guild," Natsu started. "Ever since we became partners for jobs, I've had some of the best moments in my life."
"I didn't understand why, but I always felt comfortable around you," Natsu continued. "I know I haven't been the easiest to deal with, since I was ready to beat up any guy who tried to talk to you."
There were some laughs in the crowd, and I couldn't help but smile. Natsu got off the stage, and the crowd created a path for him, as he started to walk towards me.
"But you're still here, even though I know how often I annoy you," he said, earning a laugh from the crowd.
"A week ago, if a guy had talked to you, I would've gotten extremely mad, and not known why. But after thinking about it, I realized how stupid I'd been," Natsu continued.
"And with a little help," Natsu said, nodding towards Mira. "I realized why I felt like this."
By this point, Natsu was so close to me, our noses touched, and I couldn't stop smiling.
"We've gotten even closer thanks to this trip," Natsu continued. "And I couldn't be happier."
Neither could I.
Or so I thought.
Natsu took my hand in his, and smiled at me.
"Look up," he said.
I looked up and heard fireworks. Written in the sky were the words I Love You, Luce.
I re-read those words a million times, thinking I was dreaming, but I wasn't. They were real.
"I love you, Luce. I always have, and I always will," Natsu said, grinning.
I couldn't believe this was happening. All this time I had thought he liked someone else. But he didn't, and now I knew.
I stared into his eyes, unable to break our gaze.
"I love you too, Natsu," I whispered.
Natsu connected his lips with mine, and I instantly felt a wave of warmth wash over me. For a moment, it felt like we were the only two people on Earth.
Then the crowd around us started to clap, with the girls saying, "Awww!"
I pulled away, my cheeks heating up. Natsu didn't seem to care that we'd just kissed in front of so many people.
He put his arm around my waist, and grinned.
Happy flew above the crowd, and dropped streamers onto the crowd. Mira was riding Laxus' back, singing some song with Happy.
They did that every time one of Mira's ships got together.
"I'll be right back," Natsu said, heading over to the guys.
The girls came over to me, squealing.
"He finally confessed to you!" Levy exclaimed, jumping up and down.
I couldn't help but laugh. "It was worth the wait."
"Someone is love sick," Lisanna teased.
I laughed. "I can't help it."
"Don't worry, we were all the same way," Levy assured me:
"Congratulations Lucy," Erza said, coming over to us.
"Thanks Erza," I said. "So I have a question for you guys."
The girls looked at me, waiting for me to continue.
"Did you know he was going to do that?" I asked, referring to Natsu's confession.
Everyone but Lisanna shook their heads.
"We didn't know," Juvia said.
"Well I knew because Mira told me," Lisanna said.
"It was Natsu's idea," Mira informed us, walking up to us. "He asked me to help set it up."
"How'd you do the fireworks?" I asked.
"I have my connections," Mira said. "Congrats by the way. I thought Natsu's confession was adorable."
"Thanks, so did I," I said, with a smile.
"Well if you'll excuse me, I have to go continue the celebration," Mira said, walking away.
"I honestly never thought that Natsu would ever do something that romantic," Lisanna said.
"Neither did I," I said, shrugging. "But then again, he has been acting differently this whole trip."
"True," Lisanna agreed, nodding.
Just then, a slow song started playing, as the fireworks continued to take up the night sky.
"May I have this dance?" Natsu whispered in my ear.
I turned around and smiled at him. "You may."
I placed one hand on his shoulder, and the other in his hand.
As we swayed back and forth, Natsu stared into my eyes, with a small smile.
"What?" I asked, with a smile of my own.
"I was just thinking."
"About?"
"Do I have to officially ask you?"
I raised an eyebrow at him, slowly realizing what he meant.
"Of course you do," I said, punching his chest lightly.
He laughed. "Okay."
We stopped dancing, and he wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him.
"Lucy Heartfillia, would you do me the great honor of being my girlfriend?"
This time I laughed, as I threw my arms around his neck, and kissed him.
"I wouldn't want it any other way."

FINALLY! After 52 chapters, Nalu is finally official! Personally, I thought how Natsu confessed was adorable.
Also, I don't know if you guys have noticed, but this story is close to finishing. There aren't many chapters left. Just saying.
