A'leah
"He hasn't been home in a week dad. He's still not answering my calls, I don't even know if he's okay." I cried.
"I'm sure he's fine babygirl. Maybe he just needed his space." My dad said.
"For a whole week!?" I yelled.
"Pregnant or not I'll still beat your ass A'leah Briana. You wonder why August hasn't been home in a week." He said sternly.
"I'm sorry." I apologized.
"You can only say your sorry so many times. Your mother does the same shit. Why do you think we don't live under the same roof anymore? It was either that or we get a divorce."
"Are you happy?"
"My happiness comes and goes. Do I deserve to be happy, of course, but I love your mother. I just don't love her that much to stay in the same house with her." He chuckled.
"You are terrible daddy." I giggled.
"Your gonna end up just like her if you don't cut it out A'leah. I'm telling you this because I believe that you can change. As for your mother, it maybe a little to late for her. But that doesn't mean I'll stop loving her." He said honestly.
"But daddy-"
"I don't wanna hear it A'leah. Stop blaming other people for your problems. Take ownership for what you've done. August cheated and got another woman pregnant. Was he wrong? Yes. Did he pay for it? Yes. Is he still paying for it? Yes, because you can't let that go. If you can't let that go and move on then don't have me give you away to him on your wedding day. Since he made that mistake that man has paid for it. Stop holding it over his head because you'll be the reason as to why he does it again." He preached.
"I don't do it intentionally daddy." I sniffed.
"And I'm glad that you recognize that your not doing this intentionally but what you need to do is let it go. Start from there." He suggested.
"I notice that I call him out his name when things don't go my way. And sometimes I can act like a spoiled brat."
My dad stared at me blankly.
"You are a spoiled brat and that's your mother and I's fault. Your a cry baby just like your mother. I could walk into a wall and you'd start crying." He chuckled.
I pouted. "I can't help that I'm emotional."
"Okay and maybe you can't but, crying when you don't get your way? Miracle doesn't even do that and she's expected to at three years old."
"What if August hates me?" I asked.
"A'leah, August couldn't hate you if he was paid to. That man loves you so much. You just need to return the love before he finds it else where." He preached.
"I'd kill him and the hoe he decides to find it else where."
"Then get it together Briana before that becomes your reality and who's fault will it be?"
"Mines." I mumbled.
"Exactly." He said as he kissed my cheek.
August walked in and hung up his coat. I slowly got up and waddled over to him, almost knocking him down. He held me tight as I cried onto his chest.
"Why you cryin' mama?" He asked.
"W-Where have y-you been?" I cried.
"Aw hell. That's my cue to go." My dad said.
I frowned and looked over at him. He kissed my forehead and left. August picked me up, causing me to giggle.
"Where have you been?" I asked.
"The studio." He mumbled into my neck.
He sat on the couch with me straddling his lap. I pouted and hit his chest softly.
"You could have called August. What if something happened to you?"
"Niggas outchea ain't stupid. They kno' better than ta' fuck wit' Yung."
"That's not the point babe."
"I'a kno'. A nigga jus' needed some space. I needed ta' get away from you, the kids, everybody." He sighed.
"What did you do at the studio?" I questioned.
"This Thing Called Life." He smirked.
"Your second album?"
"Yup. Droppin' it December 11th."
"Congrats baby." I smiled.
"Thanks ma." He grinned.
"Why didn't you ever tell me how you felt?"
"Cause, too much shit was goin' on and I ain't wanna make it worse."
"Yo' pops tol' me you was cryin' fa' seven days straight." He chuckled.
"That's not funny." I pouted.
"My lil' cry baby." He laughed.
"Whatever." I said, rolling my eyes and getting off him.
August
While Leah had her lil' fit, I headed upstairs and plopped down on my bed. It felt good to be home.
Being at musical therapy fa' a week really taught me a lot of shit and I'a was glad ta' do it.
These past few months have been nothin' but drama. I needed ta' get back ta' my music. Knuck kicked it wit' me in the studio and recorded Song Cry.
It's a dope ass record if you ask me. People get ta' see what's goin' on wit' ya boy. Everybody think that since I'm a celebrity, I'm happy. If only they saw what goes on behind closed doors.
"Baby." A'leah whispered, gettin' in bed wit' me.
"Wussam?" I asked.
"I love you and I don't want to lose you." She sniffed.
"Ion't wanna lose you eitha' baybeh."
"I think counseling will do us some good." She smiled.
"Me too. You got less than two weeks ta' get yo' shit togetha'."
"I will. I promise."
"A'ight, better keep yo' promise."
"I am. Princess Ava missed her daddy."
"I missed her more." I said, peckin' her lips.
"Did you miss me?" She asked.
"Nope. I needed ta' get away from yo' spoiled ass."
She pouted and turned away from me. I held her close, kissin' all over her face.
"Of course I'a missed my baybeh."
"August would you ever leave me?"
"Naw, a nigga can't live without you." I smiled.
"You are such a cornball." She giggled, peckin' my lips.
"I'm yo' cornball though." I smirked.
"Baby do you remember how we first met?"
"How could I forget? Yo' fine ass was throwin' dat ass back. Almost fucked you onnat flo'."
"You are so nasty."
"You luh that shit tho', don't even front."
"I remember when we ran away from the homeless shelter and snuck into a corner store. I was so scared that the alarm would go off." She reminisced.
"Me too. You've been ridin' wit' a nigga fa' a minute now." I smirked.
"I know and I'm glad that I met your big headed self." She smiled.
"Why my head gotta be big?"
"Cause it is."
"Man, you's a clown."
"Why I gotta be a clown?" She asked.
"Cause you is anna mae." I laughed.
"Shut up and quit your natural hair journey." She joked.
"Don't hate cause my shit real and you gotta pay hella money fa' yours."
She staled faced me. I busted out laughin'.
"Oh so that's funny?"
"Yup."
"It won't be so funny when you sleep on the couch tonight." She said, as she hit me wit' a pillow.
"I'll leave fa' another week."
"No!" She pouted.
I laughed and held her close ta' me. I really don't kno' what I'd do without Leah. She been by my side through it all.
She may get on my nerves at times, but I love the hell outta her, I really do. Thank God she gave me a second chance.
I'd be outside her house, singin' ta' her everyday til she forgave me. It's dope how we came from nothin' ta' havin' a whole lot of everything.
Leah's the only girl I've been wit' fa' this long. She blessed me wit' two beautiful kids and a juicy ass pussy.
"What are you thinking about ugly?"
"Yo' fine ass."
"What about me?"
"How good the sex is."
"Is that all I'm good for?" She asked, while poutin'.
"Them jaws good fa' sumn." I snickered.
She rolled her eyes and turned over. I tightened my grip on her and bit her neck.
"I'm playin' baybeh, relax." I smirked against her neck.
"You better be." She said as she poked her lip out.
I pecked it a few times and gently rubbed her stomach.
"Daddy can't wait ta' see his princess." I smiled.
Ava kicked a few times.
"She can never kick for me but she can kick for you."
"Cause she love her daddy and can't stand her cry baby mama."
"I am not a cry baby."
"Why the fuck you lyin'?" I sang.
"I really can't stand you sometimes August." She laughed.
"You hear dat? Yo' mama bein' mean ta' me. Gone head and beat her up in the womb princess."
Ava kicked again. A'leah frowned. I intertwined our hands together and kissed her cheek.
"I'm done fuckin' witchu'."
"Yeah okay."
"You my big cry baby." I said as I pecked her lips.
"I love you."
"I love you too."

Aren't they so cute?
1) Do you think musical therapy helped August?
2) Can these two move on and get married?
