You too Percy.

Percy's POV
After the month, the new Commander and I went to the place where I had fallen off.
We rode the black car again, making me feel jittery. Tapping my fingers on my leg, I looked outside. There was nobody but Chaos, the Commander and I. I wished there was anyone next to me- Victor, Luke, Annabeth- anybody.
I stepped out the car and flashing lights met me. I heard a lot of questions, but Chaos wouldn't let anyone in by the force field he had made.
He was determined not to make this go wrong.
We walked to the ledge, and I looked down. I swallowed hard.
"What. Scared?"
I smiled saucily. "Why would I be? I'm not falling down there again."
Chaos grabbed both of our cloaks and he smirked. He dangled me over the ledge like I was a kitten. There were a few catcalls, but mostly silence. Chaos put me back on the platform and held up the new Commander.
Cheering.
I felt sick as Chaos dropped him, and the citizens roared, kicking him after he was on the floor.
"Chaos-"
He turned around and I followed him to the car again.
"What about him?"
"He belongs there. In the waves of trash."
~
I opened the laptop and scrolled down the comments about what had happened today.
The first few were compliments. Few were regretting. Few said that he was better. I scrolled down.
As*hole Omega shouldn't of let the man become Commander in the first place. How many people did he kill already?
▷Hm.... About 3000 people? Lost count!
▷I know. Does he not have eyes? The man doesn't even look fit for Commander? How do they expect a middle aged man to do everything?
Murderer.
▷I totally agree.
▷He should go to prison.
Wow. Is he cold blooded or something? He had to prove it by killing everybody?
That person has problems.
▷Don't you?
What the f*ck happened.
▷The Commander just killed his next innocent victim.
▷Scroll up idiot
Really, he's not even supposed to be Commander. He asked the umpire for help.
How can a person be this messed up?
I heard that he has like... 5 girlfriends.
▷ I never want to meet a guy like that
▷I bet his girlfriends are hot.
▷No... Thats not true. He's as ugly as hell
▷Thats why he wears a mask.
▷Give me a girlfriend
The news says he's a spy.
Maybe he killed his own son.
The f*cking as*hole looks like a criminal.
▷He dissapeared for a month. Maybe he just killed some more people.
How did he get the messed up idea that we would like him if he killed the man?
He must have a way with words. How did he persuade Chaos to kill someone?
▷ Remember, he's f*cking rich.
▷I wish I had that money
▷I would donate the money and not use it for myself if I was him.
▷What a selfish jerk
Kill him.
▷I'll go with you
▷Recruiting people to go kill him(1000/20000)
Somebody shut the laptop forcefully. I looked back to see Victor glaring at me.
"What are you doing."
"Victor, I was just-"
"I told you not to see the comments!" he cried.
"They're just being mean. I'm fine."
"Don't lie!"
I breathed out a sigh. "I don't want to hear yelling anymore."
"Percy-"
"Get out."
"Give me the laptop. Now."
"GET OUT!"
He took a step back. "Percy-"
I grabbed him by the shoulders and pushed him out, locking the door.
He pounded on the door and I slid down the door, tears falling down my face uncontrollably.
Kill him.
Murderer.
He killed his own son.
"I'm not...."
I didn't want to kill them. I-
my thoughts were broken down, down down into strangled sobs and hot salty tears.
~
Victor's POV
I was scared.
Scared of his yelling, what he could do, what he was thinking, and his emtpy, broken sobs.
I wished they would just aknowledge him.
Chaos stepped up beside me.
"Maybe my choice was wrong."
"You just realized."
He looked in worriedly through the door. "The door is locked?"
"I'm afraid he's looking at the comments again." I looked at him. "Can't you nust through the door?"
"He needs his time." Chaos said. "Lets go eat dinner."
~
Everyone was silent. Even Chaos.
We were having a late dinner, but there were many soldiers.
"There are a bunch if hate comments." Lee looked up. "Should I erase them or...."
Chaos stared still over the mobs of soldiers eating their dinner. At least 70% of them were on their phones, looking at the news and probably commenting. Chaos cut through the air with his knife that he was using and everyone's phones turned off. The soldiers started eating hastily under Chaos's glare.
"I'm not going to let news come in for a week." he announced.
I looked down at my food. Percy would always find a way out, I knew. I stood up.
"I'll get some food for Percy."
I walked to his room, carrying a few pizza's. I stood outside his door.
He'll be okay.
I knocked carefully, and opened the door. He was sitting on his desk, hunched over.
"Come in."
His voice was slurred, as if he was drunk. I went to his desk to see that he was drunk. His wrists were slit, pourinv out blood. He poured himself a cup of liquor, so much that it overflowed.
"Percy-"
"Victor."
I blinked.
He sighed languidly and drank down the liquor.
"You always start with my name." he said.
I swallowed. His breath smelled strongly of liquor.
"I'll get the bandages."
"Sit!" he said forcefully.
I sat down.
"Listen." he said slowly, as if he was talking to a kindergartner. "All I want, is you-" he said, pointing at me. "To turn into Annabeth." he banged his head on the table, making the bottle rattle.
"Annabeth, Annabeth, Annabeth..." he mumbled.
I opened the wrap of the dish I had brought. I pushed it in front of him.
"Eat something."
He pushed it away, sighing.
"Honestly, I feel like I'm going to throw up..." he said in a slurred voice. "... Where's Annabeth?"
I looked around and saw another bottle that was empty. How much did he drink? I was also concerned about his wrists. They were bleeding profusely. I snatched he bottle away from him.
"Stop it."
He smiled almost saucily and took out another bottle and a cup. He poured me a cup.
"Here."
Blood dripped on the table.
"Percy, I really should get bandages."
He waved his hand. "I'm fine. I'm fine."
"... Should I get Annabeth?"
He was silent for a while as he poured himself another glass.
"No."
"Why?"
He drank the glass down and hit it hard on the table.
"I hate that question." he snarled.
I flinched. He poured himself another glass, and a drop of blood fell into the liquor. He drank it without any hesitation.
"... I'm afraid." he admitted. "Afraid I would love her again."
He looked at my cup. "You aren't drinking."
"I'm not." I said sharply.
He sighed and drank again.
"It's so hard...."
He kept on pouring the liquor in the cup, letting it overflow and mix with the blood already on the desk.
"I really, really want to die now." he said, drinking. "I wish he'd let me."
My whole body froze. "... Who?"
"If Tartarus dies, I can finally die." he sighed in happiness. "It took a long time to get that through my head."
I stared in horror at him.
"What...."
"I can't love her again. I can't hurt her." he said. He started banging his head on the desk, mumbling Annabeth.
He was trying to die.
And Tartarus wasn't letting him.
What torturous scheme did he have behind everything?
Percy mumbled and pushed the glass closer to me. Distressed, I drank it down, feeling it burn down my throat.
I had to stop him somehow.
Watch out for a hangover...
