I knew l was outnumbered.
The hellhounds growled and clawed the ground, making dust. I swallowed and gripped my sword tight. If l just held out until my dad came-
But the hellhounds didn't wait.
They were bigger than usual hellhounds, and there was a pack of them. I knew l was dead unless l got help. I had sent Jess to get help, but l didn't know if she would get there fast enough. I blocked the mouth of a hellhound with water and slashed at it's legs. The hellhounds death only made the others angrier. One swiped it's claws across my chest. I stumbled back just to get bitten. I fell down, and was trampled by these hellhounds. I knew l couldn't hold out more. My vision blurred, and it soon turned into a pitch black.
I was dead.
