Conrad POV
When Belly was still pregnant, Laurel and Mr. Conklin... I mean John both sat us down and gave us a warning about what it's like the first couple weeks of having a newborn baby in the house.
They right and I do work in a hospital and some of my patients have babies.
But you only need to hand Garrett over to Belly and his fine.
He even refused to sleep in the cribbed that Laurel got for him.
He gets hungry all the time, something he got from me because I can't get enough of Belly.
And when I told her that she told me to shut up.
To which I had a little chuckle, we are both tired.
Today is Valentine Day, I went to the store to get Belly some flowers and some formula for Garrett just to make Belly's day a little easier.
As I was on my way to the checkout counter, I saw my father coming out of the back room, tricking his shirt in his pants, he didn't see me thank god.
Then I saw him putting his ring back on, as he walked away I saw a young woman that works here coming out, fixing her shirt. Then walking away.
Guess he is still married to Kayleigh, you know the old saying if they cheated with you, they'll cheated on you.
I obviously didn't want to deal with any of them so I went to the self checkout, I glanced under the checkout counter to find that Emmett and Kayleigh who looks like she's pregnant (the only two who I feel bad for) being checkout by the same woman that I saw leaving after my so called father left.
I only came here for one reason and one reason only to get flowers for my wife and formula for my son.
So I payed for the groceries and left to go home.
On the way home, I couldn't help but think about when I find out that my dad cheated on my mom when she was going through chemo.
I had just home early from football practice while Jere was out on a date with his new girlfriend, and just walked in the door.
I instantly heard shouting from the kitchen, I didn't mean to eavesdrop, it's just so rare that my parents fight and when they do it's usually entertaining.
But this fight is very far from entertaining.
"Why did have to this again." I heard my mom yelled while crying.
"Susie I'm sorry, it's just with you being sick, the stress at work.. and I have needs." My father yelled back.
I felt like I was going to be sick, hell who am I kidding I always felt sick when I hear my parents have needs.
"That is not a good enough reason to cheat." My mom yelled, and I suddenly felt like throwing up. "Not to mention while I was going through chemo. Nothing you say or do is going to make me change my mind."
"Suzie, I go take that you want me to move out." My dad said. "But please reconsider going through treatment."
Treatment? What is he saying?
"No, Adam I am not putting myself through that again, I just want to be me when I go." My mom said.
I froze in place, does mom.... does my have cancer... again?
"Suzie.." my dad said.
"Don't touch me." My mom said.
I didn't hear the rest of it, I felt numb, I couldn't breathe. I walked out of the house as I entered it.
I just drove around for hours, lost in my own damn head.
I became desperate, Aubrey broke up with me, not that I minded. She was starting to get on my nerves and I actually wanted to break up with her.
The only good thing about all this, in June I will be see Belly.
I could have never imagined what would happen after that.
I got home, then walked into the condo to find Belly on the phone, standing up while floating Garrett's clothes.
"Yes I know that Garrett came early, but Tay the baby will come out when she is ready." She said.
Hah, I only could have guessed that she was talking to Taylor, the baby is four weeks late and according to Steven, Taylor is going frustrated.
Steven said that he asked Taylor to move in with him, just for their daughter so she doesn't feel like her parents hate each other.
But Belly told that she wouldn't until they daughter is born.
Belly turned towards me and she smiles when me, I couldn't help myself, I walked over there and kissed her. We whispered hi in between.
"Okay Taylor I have to go, I'll talk to you later, happy valentine day, love you too." She said as I kissed my way down her neck. When she hang up, I saw our son his seat.
"So how is our boy doing?" I asked as I smiled at Garrett.
"Oh he has been good, except he missed his daddy." Belly smiled at me.
"Well goodly for me because I miss both him and his mommy." I said as I pick him up and he squealed of happiness as I did. I then pick up the flowers that I bought for her. "Happy Valentine's Day my beautiful wifey."
She smiled so brightly and thank me for the flowers and the formula. I told her about who I saw today and who I saw, she was mad of my behalf, but she reminded me that I don't have to keep this to myself, I tell tell Jere if I want or anyone really. And that I don't have to safe him.
I told that I will changed Garrett into his onesie so that Belly could relax.
When I did, I noticed something on her desk I didn't mean to. But my curious got the better of me, it was three pregnancy tests and all of them are positive.
I felt pure joy and yet pure sadness at the same time for some reason, and I got a gut feeling to ran down stairs, our son in hand.
I knew it was possible to get pregnant while breastfeeding.
When I got downstairs and saw Belly in a pool of blood.
I russ her to the hospital, I asked Laurel to watch Garrett who was screaming at the sight of his mother laying in a pool of blood. I don't blame him of course. I'm a mess myself.
She asked me to keep her posted about her daughter, and I said of course.
I was nervous as hell as I sat in the waiting room.
Then the doctor finally came in, he told that Belly is fine, but their tried everything to save the baby, but they could see something is wrong with the baby.
Then the chief told me that he can give me a few weeks off to grieve their child and be there for his wife.
I told him that would be nice, then I went to Belly.

Belly POV
I woke up a few hours ago, I asked Conrad and he told me.
I felt like all sorts of things, s******, a failure, and felt awful for this baby that we only find out about.
I asked Conrad to lay in bed with me and he did.
We are now home, along with our son, I tried to be the same mom I was before. I really did, but as the weeks and months keep going I was almost back to normal, and Conrad, my dear husband was there right beside me every step of the way.
Conrad and I got a birthstone for our child, we count and the baby would have been born in October.
He got me a ring and I got him a charmed for his necklace.
It's a start, but truly, we will forever be charged by the lost of our child.

Sorry if you all feet rushed, I just don't know what to do or how to write it when miscarriages happen, and I feel sad when it talks about. And like I said before, never been pregnant, so I don't know a hole lot about pregnancies.
