Waking up, the first thing he would always do is greet anyone he meets. That is how friendly and chatty Lee Sejin of TeStar is. But this morning is not like any ordinary one.
Why is it not?
"Guys? Are you pranking me or something?" the big guy asked with a chuckle on his face.
Indeed, he is worried. He knows that his group won't do this just for nothing.
"Is there a camera somewhere? Where is it? It is not time for them to install it today though..."
Being cheerful as he look around finding some clue as to why no one can hear him nor see him, Sejin failed to see any device hidden. Sitting beside moondae who was currently sitting at the sofa, bae sejin head back to his room while ahyeon is eating together with raebin and eugene. Cheongwo is not there since he is taking a bath.
"Mundaemundae... can you not hear me?"
He mumbled with a somewhat sorrowful voice. Not that he was acting to make the TeStar's main vocalist pity him but as he chuckle feeling defeated, he can't help but have the smile he was faking disappear.
Holding his face, he knew that there is nothing he can do. What the reason is, he is not sure. Maybe he is dead? Maybe it was the system? Or maybe they are just pranking him? he doesn't really know.
"If this is all a prank, you guys are going to far..."
He mumbled chuckling again.
"You got me, so... please... can you all go back to normal?"
But no one answered.
"Hey guys..." raebin mumbled looking at his way.
"Raebin?"
"Mundae hyung, the show we filmed last time will be aired today, right?"
He thought that it was him raebin was looking at but it turns out, it was the guy beside him.
"Now that you mention, shall we all watch it together?"
"Yeah! I'll make popcorn!"
"Sure, let's watch it hyung"
"I wonder if it would turn out well..."
They reassure ahyeon that it would be just fine... they did their best after all.
The tv show started. The only thing that sejin could do is watch beside them. For some reason, no one seems to be able to touch him. As if some sort of magic is covering him. not letting others bump into him.
[Host: And now let us welcome! Our beloved TeStar! We all know them but please introduce yourselves]
[TeStar Ryu Cheongwo: Hello everyone, I am ryu cheongwo]
[Host: Oh our multi talented leader! I wonder what things you can't do? I am so amazed]
[Testar ryu cheongwo: Thank you...]
"The host back then surely is energetic" bae sejin mumbled as he can't help but be worried about his turn.
[Host: Alright, please let's calm down this is just the first part. Next is...]
[Testar Bae Sejin: I am bae Sejin]
[Host: I am a fan! Oh my, you might all know who my bias is. I love them all but I just can't believe that an actor and not just an actor but the billion dollar child actor can be an idol! Okay, let us all proceed before my heart burst~]
[Testar Park Moondae: Hello I am park moondae]
[Host: The heavenly, enchanting, and out of the world main vocalist of the group!! Park moondae!]
And now, the part that Lee Sejin has been waiting for, his part.
But for some reason, he was there but it is as if he wasn't.
"..."
He could not help but feel like it was a scam.
Fear run down his spine as he felt the cold sweat falling from his temple.
"Did you really..."
The introduction og the members ended and it was a part where they would sing a song with a mix of challenges. But all of it proceed like how he know it yet, it is as if the world can't see him.
As if the world thinks he doesn't exist...
Face hiding behind his palm, he don't know what to do. What if they completely forget about him? What if he is no longer needed? What if...
"What if they can go on without me? They... they didn't even realized..."
It was painful for him to feel this way. For ever since he was in his first group where he ended up not debuting since someone stole his spot, he could not help but have this thinking that he is not good enough.
"I am not the leader like cheongwo, I am not the main vocalist since there is no way I can win against moondae's voice, I am also not as great dancer as eugene... I can't compose songs like what raebin would do... my visuals is not as good as ahyeon, and my fan base is not as big as base who can act like it all runs in his bloodstream..."
Looking at how amazing his group member was, he could not help but feel so lacking.
"and here I am... just me. They might even be good without me..."
Smiling bitterly, he heard ahyeon asking moondae a question.
"Are you okay? Moondae?"
"It is just weird... are we always this quiet?"
Looking at each other, the other group members also notice that. Even Ryu cheongwo who is still wiping his hair wonders the same thing.
"I am also thinking the same thing ever since the beginning"
Bae sejin mumbled thinking so deeply about it.
"Are we always just six?" he add up some question.
Words that Keun sejin didn't expect starts to flood the room.
"Right... the same age group won't be group if it is just two..." ahyeon mumbled fidgeting.
He seems to be thinking about it ever since the host introduce him and moondae the known same age group.
"That is also that..."
Everyone is not sure what is wrong with their head but it is just weird how they feel like something is out of the ordinary.
As if...
Someone is missing.
Testar is a group and it won't be testar with someone missing. Because they are as a whole, they are testar if they are complete.
"Don't tell me it was the system's doing..."
Moondae mumbled which caught the attention of everyone.
Indeed, if it was something you can't explain, the first one you would doubt is the system.
"Guys... do we have another bae sejin in the group?"
The eldest of the Testar mumbled as he scratches his cheeks. He is an actor yet he didn't even try to hide how embarrassed he is.
"Another bae sejin?"
Even lee sejin could not help but be surprised. He didn't expect baese to remember him like that. Chuckling, he chuckled more when he saw Baese's flustered face.
"That! I mean... someone with the same name as me... hah, for some reason I feel like someone is making fun of me..."
He mumbled trying to calm himself. A smile did not escape Lee sejin's lips.
"You are the only bae sejing I know... hyung..."
"Your old name... hyung" moondae mumbled making everyone surprised.
"Lee Sejin"
Then all mumbled in unison.
And just like a door opening, they feel like a lock finally opened.
"Keun sejin!"
"Sejin hyung!"
The said guy is not sure what is happening. He was glad everyone remember about him. he was happy that they still remember him. But maybe it was because he knew no one can see him that is why he did not bother letting his tears fall down.
It is not sadness not anything negative. He was upset a while ago because of this unexplainable thing that happened to him but right now, he was more than happy.
"I didn't know you were a crybaby"
Moondae mumbled as he look at the guy beside him while offering the handkerchief that ahyeon offered.
"Mundaemundae, you can see me?"
"No, I am just talking to my self"
He dare not look at sejin again since he feel like the big guy will just find himself in a difficult situation.
"Sejin, are you okay?"
"Hyung..."
"How did this happened?"
"Keunse..."
Everyone is worried about him. everyone wants to know what happened yet they probably can't ask it right away...
But more than anything, the testar are glad. They didn't even know when did it start.
All of them are wondering how painful and how bad Keun sejin felt all this time.
