" What are you doing here?" I asked her as I stepped into the room fully. Imagine my surprise when I found her comfortably lying on my bed like she owned it.
" What does it look like I am doing to you? Am taking a rest. Wouldn't want anything to stress me because, you know, being pregnant and all." I couldn't help but roll my eyes, I didn't know how long she was or if she was even pregnant but she sure was overreacting.
" Am sorry to burst your bubble, but this room belongs to me."
" Not anymore." She said with so much confidence I was taken aback. Did Markus tell her to stay here? There were many rooms in this mansion and she didn't see anyone but this?
What was going on?
Maids started entering my room and I turned to look at them in confusion.
" Rena, what's happening?" I asked as Rena entered and she stopped turning to me.
" Ma'am it seems the boss wants your things transferred." That was the only information she gave me before she joined the others to take my things to another room. She wasn't even here for long but she was already taking things that were given to me, I wondered what next she would be taking from me.
" My darling." I heard the lady say as I followed her eyes to where Markus was standing. His eyes were hard and looked anything short of friendly.
" Call me that one more time and you'll be sleeping in my basement." He said to her in a hard voice.
" I don't understand what is going on. Why are they taking my things from here?" I finally asked because I needed answers. The room grew silent for a while before Markus spoke.
" You'll be staying in my room."
" What?!" I and the other lady questioned in unison.
What did he mean by I would be moving into his room? Of course, I knew what it meant, it was simple English but why?
" You can't be serious? You want her to stay with you while I stay here? Is she so special or what?" She asked in anger. Her eyes were throwing daggers at me but I was still lost in shock to care. Markus wanted me to move into his room with him.
" Unlike you who I am not sure how many men you've given yourself to, she…" he said pointing towards me…" had never had any man before me. I was the first man she had ever been with, I have no doubt the child is mine. But you, I can't give you a hundred percent that that child is mine so yes, she's going to be staying with me."
" She's pregnant too?" She asked in shock. Oh, she didn't know. I was sure the whole mansion knew by now that she was pregnant.
Nobody gave her a reply. We didn't owe her any explanation.
Markus turned away from us and was about to walk away but stopped and turned to look at me.
" You coming or not?" He asked and I didn't have to be told twice.
" Right away," I said as I followed closely behind him. The lady I still didn't know her name was yelling and pouring out how it was unfair and she was also carrying his child. Did she expect him to bring us both to his room?
When we got to Markus's room I didn't know what to do. This was different from staying in my room. I was beginning to question the decision. He could have just kept me in another room. Okay, that wouldn't have ended well in my head because see how I was thinking just some minutes ago when I thought he was kicking me out of that room and giving it to the other lady.
Shit I was still holding the ice cream bowl, I was caught red-handed there was no escaping
" What did I tell you about taking things like these?" He asked as he pointed to the ice cream bowl. I kept quiet because I didn't know how to respond.
" I asked a question?"
" I just wanted to." I simply answered.
" What is so hard for you that you don't understand? These things aren't good for you?"
" Who told you so?" I challenged.
" Is that what the doctor said or it's just what you think? Taking ice cream wouldn't kill me or harm the child, it's normal for pregnant women to have cravings like these. Stop overreacting." I walked past him to the bed as I made myself comfortable. I opened the ice cream and it was already melting but I still dug my spoon inside continuing from where I had left off in the kitchen.
Markus didn't say anything, he just shook his head and made his way to the bathroom. Hold up. Bathroom. Does that mean he'll shower and come out here? Do I turn away when I see him or what? We weren't husband and wife. How was this going to work?
I heard water running from the bathroom an indication that Markus was under the shower, I didn't know if it was hormones but my mind couldn't help but imagine what he looked like with water trickling down his body. He must be a sight to behold. With the abs and all. He was that type of man, the one that made women turn their heads.
I was desperate to know his reasons for wanting a child. We weren't in some relationship but at least I needed to know that. He was a good man from the way he expressed joy when he learned that I had finally gotten pregnant proved to me how much love this child would receive from him.
I was brought out of my thoughts when Markus walked out of the bathroom with just a towel wrapped lowly around his waist with his v line in full display for me.
The hormones were speaking not me. I traced my eyes down his body wishing I could devour him like I had just done the ice cream. When my eyes finally met his, I was consumed by the fire that was filled there. He mirrored my look.
Right before my eyes, he let the towel fall and instead of shying away, I pressed my thighs together because I knew what was coming. He had touched me just once. To prove how good he was I got pregnant when he touched me just once.
His eyes were on my thighs which were shut tight as I tried to create friction.
He climbed on the bed and hovered over me while I looked up at him with lust-filled eyes. He was just about to kiss me when I asked out of nowhere.
" Why do you want a child?"
