"How the hell can you order that we can't dance at your engagement tomorrow" Akshit and Raghuveer said dramatically while approaching Agam and Abhigyan in the lawn
"Because there'll be lots of our important business partners and I don't want to take any chances of embarrassing myself" Agam replied without looking at them and started discussing something with Abhigyan
"Toh tu mat naachio na bhai" Raghuveer said to Agam
(So you don't dance, brother)
"It's my engagement whatever happens there is directly linked to my reputation" Agam said
"And we can not risk anything by giving you all the permission of doing whatever you like" Abhigyan continued
"Tu chota hai na, chup reh"
"Tu chota hai na, chup reh"
Both Akshit and Raghu said at the same time and
(You are young, shut up)
"No dancing" Agam said while pointing at Akshit
"And no casual make outs with random girls" Agam continued while pointing at Raghu
"Don't degrade my reputation I don't- "
Raghu was replying to them but was cut off by Abhigyan
"Yeah yeah we know you never initiate anything, it's always offered to you" Abhigyan said and rolled his eyes at him
"But there'll be our business partners present in the engagement with their families and I am no mood to handle any angry dad whose daughter or an old husband's trophy wife is caught making out with you" Agam continued in a firm voice
"You guys are no fun" Raghuveer said and went inside the house
"Where are you going?" Akshit asked while following him
"I can't believe yeh mere bade bhai hai" Abhigyan said while shaking his head in disbelief
(I can't believe that they are my elder brothers)
"I just hope they don't create a scene tomorrow" Agam said while taking a sip from his drink
Next Morning
Sarah's Pov
I tried to open my eyes when I felt something heavy kept on my back, "uth jaa meri maa" I heard Kavu's voice
(Wake up, mother)
I tried to move but wasn't able to I titled my head a bit and realised Kavya was sitting on my back, "Thank god you are up" She said
"Agar tu upar se nhi uthi to I'll directly go up only" I said while trying to breathe
(If you don't stand up from my back, I'll definitely go up)
"Oops sorry" she said and got off my back
"Oh my god, mujhe to laga tha me marr jaungi" I said to her while getting up from my bed gasping for air
(Oh my god, I thought I'll die today)
"You should be grateful that I didn't do anything your mom told me to" she said while hitting me with my pillow
"Kya bola tha maa ne karne ko?" I asked her
(What did she say?)
"She said that you are quite a heavy sleeper, I should probably wake you up by throwing water at you" She said while laughing
"Ha ha uske baad jaise tu bach jaati" I said to her while throwing my pillow at her
(Haha, as if you would have survived)
"Okay now get ready we have to go for breakfast and then to the salon for your makeup" She said while catching the pillow I threw at her
I nodded my head and moved towards the washroom thinking about all the things that were needed to be done today while being extremely nervous

"Have you kept everything related to your outfit?" Maa asked me while looking at all the stuff kept in the car while my Dad helped me keeping it
"Hnji maa sab rakh liya hai" I said to her while closing the back door of Kavya's car
(Yes mom, I've kept everything)
"Bye maa, bye papa" I said to them while hugging each one of them in my arms
"Bye dhyaan se jaana aur late mat hona" dad said while kissing my forehead
(Bye, be careful and don't be late)
I smiled and nodded a yes
I settled in the passenger seat, "Are you ready Ms Bride" Kavya squealed in excitement
"Bas sahi salamat mujhe pohoncha dio" I said to her while laughing
(Just get me there without any harm)
We both reached to Lara's Bakery for breakfast. As soon as we entered I realised it was all decorated and no one was present their except Lara, Aashna and Krutika (Aashna's childhood bestfriend)
"Surprise" they all said together while Aashna and Krutika bursted the party poppers and Lara was holding a cake.
"Aww you guys this is so sweet" I said to them while hugging them
"When did you guys plan all of this?" I further asked them
"Oyee stop! no more questions, cut the cake first" Lara said while placing the cake on the nearby table
"Okay mam" I said and the next moment Aashna placed a crown on my head as if I am a 5 year old kid
I looked at the cake and it said "Bride and mother to be" I felt a weird feeling in my stomach when I read those words. Not only I'll be a wife I'll be a mother too which I didn't realise until now
I came out of my thoughts when I heard Lara whispering "I told you guys, we should not have added the mother part"
"Nooo nooo, it's beautiful Lara, Thankyou so much" I said the first part to her and the latter to everyone
I cut the cake and we all had a good breakfast together. Lara had opened the shop just for us and I never in my wildest dreams ever thought that I'll be surrounded by such amazing girls in my life

"I'll not take no as an answer, you are coming and that's it" I said to Lara as we all were leaving to get ready for the engagement
"Sarah I am really sorry but I can't today, My mom's coming to meet and she'll be meeting Sasha for the first time. I hope you understand" she said and I remembered her telling me how she had no contact with her family since so many years so I hugged her and mouthed a all the best
"Have a blast and spam me with all the pictures" she said to us and then hugged me and said "Congratulations doll"
"Thankyou but you have to come for the rest of the functions" I said to her in a firm voice and she smiled at me and mouthed a sorry
We all left from their to get ready for the engagement
We were late according to our schedule so we dropped going to the salon and went straight to the hotel rooms where our MUAs where waiting for us
Agam's Pov
"Is everyone ready?" I asked them entering the hall, everyone was already there ready and waiting for me
"Hum to kabse ready hai. Aap hi 10 janam laga rhe the" Akshit said dramatically
(We are ready since so long, you took 10 births to get ready)
"Kyu nhi lagayega shaadi hai uski" maa said slightly hitting Akshit's head
(Why not, it's his marriage after all)
"Kyu bhabhi pehli baari thodi hai" bua said and started laughing as if she had said the funniest joke as usual no one laughted at her joke
(Why sister, it's not his first time getting married)
"Bas karo, kuch bhi mat bola Karo" Dadi said while glaring at bua
(Stop it, don't speak anything stupid)
"Let's go" I said ignoring all of them
All the adults went first in their respective cars and only me, Abhigyan, Raghu and Akshit were left
When we were about to enter my car I turned around and said "No dance" pointing towards Akshit, "No pranks" pointing towards Abhigyan and "No-" I was about to say pointing towards Raghu but he cut me off and said "Bas bhai aise sabke saamne bezzati mat Kar, nhi karunga me kuch" he said making Akshit and Abhigyan laugh
(Stop it dude, don't insult me infront of everyone, i won't do anything)
"Good! Let's go" I said and we all settled in the car and left
Author's Pov
All were present at the venue and were waiting for the girls to arrive. Agam was standing on the stage with Akshit on his left and Abhigyan on his right
They were busy talking about something when they heard the doors opening and saw Sarah, Kavya and Aashna entering the hall
All three looked at their girls with their mouths wide open and admiration in their eyes, which was quite evident on their faces
The girls moved forward towards the stage and stood there waiting for Agam to help Sarah get up on the stage, but it looked like the three of them got glued to their positions
"Bacho hosh me aao zara" Agam's dad said to them and they came back to reality
(Back to reality kids)
Agam forwarded his hand to Sarah to get on the stage
Once everyone was on the stage Sarah moved a bit forward towards Agam and said, "Let's not forget how to breath Mr. Malhotra, it's seems your lungs just forgot their basic function" his face clearly revealed the shock he felt after hearing those words
Everyone else got off the stage, Abhigyan was standing near the table where the rings and other gifts were kept but his gaze was fixed on Aashna
Aashna made her way towards him and leaned forward to take the rings that were kept beside him on the table and then she whispered in his ears "I understand I'm a sight to behold but you looking at me like that is crossing some boundaries"
A smirk formed on her face after she said those words and she turned around and left the place before Abhigyan could even reply anything
At the other corner of the stage Akshit was standing shamelessly admiring his wife. Kavya moved towards him and said "Your jaw is practically best friends with the ground, it's been down there so long"
"Then help me pick it up, my wife" he replied instantly and she slapped his chest lightly
Soon everyone began with the rituals. "Where are the rings?" Agam's mother asked searching here and there
"Here dadi" Yug said with cutest smile while holding the tray which had rings
Everyone started laughing at the scene of him holding the rings and trying to balance himself while walking
As soon as Yug reached the stage Agam picked him up and took the rings from him
Both of them exchanged the rings and everyone started cheering and hooting for the couple
Agam's Pov
I just can't help but look at her, she looks like a goddess. Looking at my ring and then her dancing with everyone makes my heart race.
Lost in the rhythm, she twirls and sways, her laughter echoing with each step on the dance floor. If I could, I would keep a celebration like this every day to see her this happy.
Just when I was admiring my bee, I saw my bua approaching all of them who were dancing. "Can't you see many of our business partners and media is here. You are getting married, aisi harkate karne vaali ladkio ko log pasand nhi karte"
(People don't like girls who do such things) she said not too loud but loud enough for me to listen it and I could see Sarah's expressions changing completely. Everyone stopped dancing at her words
I felt anger raging inside of me, I moved towards them and said "Me pasand karta hu, meri biwi hai dusre logo ko pasand karne ki koi zarurat bhi nhi hai"
(I like her, she is my wife, there is no need for others to like her)
I turned myself to face bee and noticed the sorrow in her expressions. "I am sorry for embarrassing you infront of everyone" she said in a low voice and does she even realise what she is saying, I would never let her stop from being herself.
I smiled at her and said "You are someone I am proud of in my life. Allow me the honor of dancing with you, Ms. Sharma"
Sarah's Pov
When I heard those words from his bua's mouth I felt like replying to her in her own language, but I didn't want to create a scene at least not here so I kept quite and got lost in my thoughts that I didn't even realised that Agam was standing in-front of me
"I am sorry for embarrassing you in-front of everyone" I said to Agam in a low voice as he looked angry too, what are they all even angry about?
But then he extended his hand towards me and said "You are someone I am proud of in my life. Allow me the honor of dancing with you, Ms. Sharma"
My lips formed a curve and I could feel my cheeks heating up, I held onto his hand and nodded in excitement. I never thought he would be this understanding.
We all resumed with our dance and his bua left the place but the look on her face while leaving was worth watching
I was twirling around when suddenly the music changed from a party song to a slow punjabi song

I stopped and turned around to see Agam on one knee. I looked at him in shock, questioning. He smiled and gestured for me to place my feet on his leg
He positioned my feet on his leg and then took out a jhanjhar from his pocket. I could feel my whole face burning up. The lights were dim, everyone was looking at us and then my concentration went towards the lyrics of the song that were playing

Jeh yaar ni banauna goriye
Menu jhanjar bana lai per di
I couldn't help but smile widely like a fool, I noticed a small locket of circle shape hanging on the jhanjhar. He looked at me and then flipped the circle which had our initials on it
Our eyes met and I just wanted to pause that moment forever. We both broke the eye contact when we heard everyone around us hooting and cheering. It was such a dreamy moment and that was the moment I realised that I took the right decision
A warm rosy hue painted his cheeks as embarrassment embraced him, and I could watch this face of his all the time
He got up and we danced some more. Soon we all sat together and had food cause I was too hungry
The function came to an end and my feet were killing me because of all that dancing.

I changed into comfortable clothes the moment we came back home. I sat on my bed and looked at my finger which had a ring on it. All of it felt too unreal, is he finally mine? Everything I had wished for so many years is finally happening and I couldn't ask for a better husband than him
Soon sleep took over me, I opened my phone and texted Agam "Good night Mr. Malhotra" he replied instantly as if he was waiting for my text "Good night soon to be Mrs. Malhotra"
Oh god this man and his ways to make me a blushing mess
And soon I drifted in sleep with my cheeks red and a wide smile on my face.
