INT. TARHUN INDUSTRIES - REYHAN'S OFFICE - DAY
Reyhan sits at her desk, deep in thought. Elif is playing with some toys on the floor nearby, still occasionally saying "baba."
REYHAN
(to herself, worried)
What was Elif trying to tell me? Why did she call that man "baba"?
Reyhan's mind races as she contemplates the strange encounter. She recalls the man's face, the undeniable resemblance to Emir. Her heart flutters with a mixture of hope and confusion.
INT. TARHUN INDUSTRIES - CORRIDOR - CONTINUOUS
Kerem, Reyhan's colleague and friend, approaches her office. He notices Reyhan's troubled expression.
KEREM
(concerned)
Reyhan, is everything alright? You seem distracted.
REYHAN
(slightly flustered)
Kerem, something strange happened earlier today. Elif... she called a stranger "baba."
Kerem raises an eyebrow, intrigued by the mysterious situation.
KEREM
(curious)
A stranger? Who was that man?
REYHAN
(pensive)
I don't know, Kerem, but he looked so much like Emir. It was uncanny.
Kerem's eyes widen with surprise. He knows about Reyhan's past and her unresolved feelings for Emir.
KEREM
(softly)
Reyhan, do you think it could've been Emir?
Reyhan looks at Kerem, torn between her longing for Emir's return and her uncertainty.
REYHAN
(teary-eyed)
I wish I knew, Kerem. I wish...
Reyhan's voice trails off as she continues to grapple with the possibility of Emir's unexpected reappearance and the impact it could have on their lives.
CUT TO
INT. TARHUN INDUSTRIES - REYHAN'S OFFICE - DAY
Reyhan's secretary enters the office, delivering an unexpected piece of news.
SECRETARY
(nervous)
Reyhan, ma'am, Emir sir has arrived.
Reyhan's eyes widen in disbelief and shock. She hastily wipes away her tears, trying to regain her composure. Her heart races as she steps out of her cabin.
EXT. TARHUN INDUSTRIES - MAIN ENTRANCE - CONTINUOUS
Reyhan hurries to the main entrance and sees Emir, who now sports a heavy beard and wears glasses, waiting there. Her emotions are a whirlwind as she rushes towards him .
REYHAN
(teary-eyed)
Emir, it's really you!
Without wasting time she rushed to embraces him tightly.
Emir, however, doesn't respond as she expects. He remains stiff, almost distant, clearly bewildered by the unexpected hug. Reyhan eventually pulls back, her eyes wide with shock.
REYHAN
(confused and hurt)
Emir, what's wrong?
Emir looks at Reyhan with a blank expression, his bearded face making it difficult for Reyhan to see his emotions.
EMIR
(calm and distant)
I'm sorry, but you must be mistaken. I don't know you.
Reyhan's world shatters in that instant. She takes a step back, her eyes welling up with tears. Her voice quivers as she tries to make sense of the situation.
REYHAN
(struggling to hold back tears)
Emir, it's me. It's Reyhan, your wife.
EMIR
(confused)
Wife? My wife is Miral.
Reyhan is devastated by Emir's words, her heart breaking into a million pieces. She gently touches his face, searching for any sign of recognition, but Emir's eyes remain empty, his memory seemingly erased.
REYHAN
(barely a whisper)
What happened to you, Emir?
As the weight of the situation sinks in, Reyhan's eyes well up with tears, her world spinning out of control.
Reyhan's eyes fill with desperation as she tries to reach Emir, her voice pleading.
REYHAN
(teary-eyed)
Emir, no, you can't say this. Is someone pressuring you? Are you hurt?
Reyhan instinctively reaches out to touch his head, concerned for him. However, Emir reacts with frustration, brushing her hand away and raising his voice.
EMIR
(irritated)
Please, learn some ethics. You're continuously touching me without my consent. Madam, I respect you, which is why I'm saying, maintain some distance.
Reyhan is taken aback by Emir's harsh words. She steps back, hurt and defeated, as Emir continues to reject her.
Just then, Miral enters the scene, her voice dripping with false sweetness as she addresses Emir.
MIRAL
(smiling)
So, how was your meeting, baby?
Emir, still bewildered and distant, looks at Miral in confusion.
EMIR
(disoriented)
I don't know this woman...
Miral cuts him off, dismissing his confusion with a wave of her hand.
MIRAL
(dismissively)
Oh, come on, baby. That's the same woman I told you about.
Reyhan watches helplessly as Miral continues to manipulate the situation, using Emir's memory loss to her advantage.
