Izuku slowly woke up, he rubbed his eyes and looked around the room, everyone was still sound asleep, he grabbed his phone to check the time, 6:00 A.M. Three hours before the opening ceremony, I'll go visit Yagyu. He thought to himself and stood up quietly, getting dressed with the small amount of light coming from the sun through the curtains. He tiptoed to the door and put his shoes on before taking one final look at his team and smiled. He grabbed a stack of sticky notes from his bag and wrote, 'Went to go visit Yagyu, be back soon.' He stuck that to the door and walked out.
Once he reached the hospital he was directed to Yagyu's room, where Fuma, Hijikata, Seimei, and Ayame were all still waiting in there, they had however fallen asleep. He smiled in relief and woke them up gently. "Thanks for staying here over night you guys." He spoke. Fuma rubbed her eyes, "It was no problem Izuku, did you guys pass?" Izuku gave a nod, "Yeah, Hanzo Academy is officially in the tournament." He told them, they all quietly cheered as not to disturb anyone still asleep in the building. "Is it alright if I sit with Yagyu for a bit?" He asked them. Hijikata immediately spoke up, "Absolutely, Fuma, Ayame, let's go get some breakfast," Her voice softened, "And give Izuku some privacy." Izuku smiled as they walked out.
Once the door was closed he grabbed a nearby chair and sat down up by Yagyu's head. "Hey Yagyu, we managed to pass the preliminaries, although we only came in ninth, mostly due to the fact that I got attacked, it was someone that knew Kazakiri, the girl that Ikaruga and I fought back in New York, I also got to meet Kacchan again, him and the others passed, and now they work as renegades, I think, Mirai asked about you actually, when we told her what happened she seemed really shaken up, I think she's really worried about you, we all are, and we also wound up destroying our friendship with Gessen, hopefully we'll be able to patch things up and you can meet them, I think you'd really get along with Yozakura, and you have to meet Minori, she's just as cute as Hibari, I bet you'd love her."
Izuku stopped and reached for her hand, tears began to fall from his eyes as he did, "I'm so sorry Yagyu, I never should have let you go off on your own, at least if you had Hibari this wouldn't have happened." He clasped his hands around hers and started crying harder. "I'm sorry, if I had been stronger, if I could have seen them, if I could have been there, I would have protected you to my last breath, I promise that this won't ever happen again." He assured her. "You all mean the world to me, I want nothing more than to see you all happy, I want to do what I can for you guys with the time I have left, and I don't care what I have to give up, I'll give my life if it means you guys could see one more day." He told her. After sitting with her for almost an hour, he stood up, "Well, I better get back, we have to get ready for the tournament, I'll come visit you again tonight, I'll try and get the others to come with me, that way we can all tell you about what happened."
Izuku left the room, when he did he saw there was now a guard by the door. "Don't worry sir, we heard about what happened, we have Shinobi stationed around the hospital that are keeping watch for anything, we'll alert you immediately if anything happens." He told him. "Thank you." Izuku spoke and kept walking. When he was down the hall from their room, he could hear a commotion going on inside. I guess Ayame and the others are in there now. He assumed, only to find out he was half right. The moment he opened the door, everyone went quiet, except for one small voice that shouted, "PAPA!" A small child that was in the room charged and jumped onto Izuku, swinging around until she was on his back. "Papa?" The Hanzo students questioned, "Izuku when did you become a dad?" Ayame questioned him. "I'm not, and even if I was how could the child be this old already?" He questioned her. Katsuragi smirked, "I didn't think you would have connections like that." "I'M STILL A VIRGIN!" He screamed. "Do I even want to know?" Kiriya questioned walking down the hall towards them. Izuku turned to him, "I just got here, I really don't know what's going on."
Hibari stepped up, "When we all woke up this girl was sleeping beside me, we don't know where she came from, but she seems to believe that Izuku is her dad and I'm her mom." She explained. Kiriya looked back at the girl for a moment and had a thought, "Little one, can you tell me your name?" He asked. She ducked her head behind Izuku's when Kiriya spoke to her. "Creepy guy." She spoke. Kiriya seemed a bit broken by that, "C...Creepy?" Izuku then had an idea, "Sweetheart, it's okay, this is papa's teacher, he only looks creepy but he's actually super nice and strong." Izuku spoke like a father. The girl then came out from behind his head and looked at him again. "Promise?" "I promise." Izuku assured her. She jumped down and walked in front of him, with a smile on her face, "My name is Kagura."
"Well, it's very nice to meet you Kagura, may I ask, do you think your mama and papa look a bit shorter than before?" He asked her. Kagura tilted her head and looked at Izuku, "Yeah, papa does look shorter, what happened?" She wondered. Kiriya nodded, "Then my theory was correct, this girl is from another dimension." He spoke making everyone in the room look at him questionably. "Let me explain, when I stepped away with David, he showed me some, rather shocking things, such as, there are holes beginning to appear in our dimension, and we have sent Kagura rank shinobi, and many other high ranks to investigate, it's not wrong to assume that this girl may have fallen into our dimension from one where Izuku and Hibari did get together and have a baby, and this girl was that child, otherwise she wouldn't be so insistent on it."
Izuku looked at Kagura and then over at Hibari, and then to Asuka, "Well this is weird." He spoke. "Your telling us?" Asuka questioned. "Though I guess it can't be helped, every dimension is different." She answered. "Anyways, we need to make our way to the arena, the opening ceremony is about to begin." Kiriya spoke. They all nodded and got ready, changing into their school uniforms, and heading out with Kagura now in tow. When they reached the Arena, they were directed through by one of the staff, "Those that make the main team follow this path and stand behind the red line until your team is called out, everyone else please follow me up these stairs." They spoke. Kagura was still holding out Hibari though. "Kagura you need to go with Uncle Kiriya, okay?" "I don't want to go with Uncle Kiriya." She protested. Hijikata then stepped forward, "Then how about coming with Auntie Hijikata?" She offered with her arms stretched out. Kagura looked at her for a moment before jumping into her arms. "Okay!" She spoke planting her face into Hijikata's chest. "Well that settles that," She spoke, "Knock them out you guys!" She cheered them on.
With exchanged words of assurance they parted ways. Once before the red line they waited for a few minutes until they heard Present Mic's voice again, "Welcome one and all to the 53rd Shinovi Versus Tournament! I'm your host Present Mic, and each day we will have a special guest, todays special guest is a Shinobi of Worldwide renown, give it up for Hanzo!" He yelled. "Grandpa?" Asuka questioned peeking her head out to look around, up above in a booth she spotted Present Mic and her grandpa, "It's a pleasure to be here Hizashi, and thank you all, both spectators here, and around the world, and the brave shinobi students that are here to fight for their schools, one team of which is actually from the very school I gave my name to, so I hope you will all forgive me if I do show a slight bit of favoritism."
"I'm sure it's fine," Present Mic assured him. "Now without further ado, lets introduce our teams, this will be done in the order they passed the preliminary event, so first up we have the team from Metropolitan Hakuo Women's Academy or just Hakuo for short, give it up for the disciplinary committee members, Kocho, Kisaragi, Chihaya, Kanzaki, Itsuka, and Ranmaru!"
They stepped out and said no words, except for Kocho, all the members gave waves to the audience. "Aren't they just proper looking young ladies, next up we have our Second-place team, a team of elites whose school recently fell to the ground but that hasn't stopped them from pushing forward and entering this tournament to show they are still as strong as ever. From Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy, give it up for Miyabi, Imu, Murasaki, Ryobi, Ryona, and Himiko!"
They stepped out, Miyabi remained emotionless as did Imu, Murasaki clutched to her teddy bear and Himiko's hand, while Ryona tried to flash the crowd until Ryobi punched her in the back of the head. "Quite an interesting group but one that radiates power, nonetheless. Next we have 3rd place, a group of Shinobi renegades that are always on the run but now they want to show their strength and as they claimed to us in their request to join, 'Dominate the competition and come out on top', give it up for The Crimson Squad, Homura, Katsuki, Yomi, Hikage, Mirai, and Haruka!"
"What a fierce look on that boys face, I wonder how often he gets to sleep?" Present Mic joked earning a middle finger from Katsuki. "Always a treat these ones, next we have a team of Heroes from a school that yours truly is an alumnus of, with the motto of Go Beyond, Plus Ultra, give it up for the handpicked team from U.A. Highschool, Shoto, Nejire, Hiryu, Neito, Eijiro, and Mina!"
Nejire showed off her abilities and flew around the arena for a bit waving at people, Mina wasted no time in showing off her agility by performing an Airflare. "Such wild and youthful combatants, next, in fifth place, a Shinobi Group that popped up quite recently much like the crimson squad, lets her it for the mysterious shinobi of Senki Shu, Hyoki, Reki, Maki, Miki, Yuki, and Tamaki!"
They walked into the arena, while they all looked around with different looks on their faces, the boy, Tamaki, seemed dead within his eyes. "Quite interesting that all their names end with Ki, maybe it's a feeling of kinship that brings them together, regardless lets bring out our next team, a school that teaches in students to dance with death every single day, the Elite Squad from Gessen Academy, Yumi, Murakumo, Yozakura, Shiki, Minori, and Camie!"
Shiki, Camie, and Minori all got busy drawing in the crowd by waving their arms around, "A school with icy beauties," Hanzo spoke, "Fun Fact: The leader of this team is actually the Granddaughter of my rival Kurokage, who is currently in the stands watching, everyone please give him a big round of applause for being able to make it out here today." Hanzo requested and the crowd did just that for him. Kurokage waved at them, his spiked grey hair flowing in the wind. "Now next up we have a team that doubles as a popular rock band, put your hands together for the A.R.C. Angels!"
"Unfortunately their sixth member is out with a fever, but she assured us that she would be in tomorrow to fight for her team, and she offers her deepest apologies to anyone in the audience that happens to be a fan of hers, but we still have Tsubaki, Karasu, Tachibana, Ukyo, and Sakyo!" The crowd cheered as they walked in, with Ukyo and Sakyo playing a few cords in sync. "Now it's time for a team that always shoots for the stars, coming right on in is the Zodiac Star Committee and it's members, Leo, Ginrei, Aimu, Syuri, Kurohoro, and Momo!"
As they walked out the members of Hanzo academy looked to each other, "Should we do something when we walk out there?" Izuku questioned them. They al thought for a moment before Ikaruga smiled, "I have an idea, remember in New York, the pose you struck when you beat Wolfram, let's all do that." She suggested. "What pose?" Hibari asked. Ikaruga raised her right fist to the air and kept her left tucked in beside her. "This one, why not?" She questioned them. Not a single person disagreed. "Nice idea Ikaruga!" Katsuragi complimented her. "Yeah," Izuku agreed, "Lets get out there then!"
"And now a team I'm sure you were all hoping to see, the Team with a national hero, give it up for Hanzo National Academy, Asuka, Ikaruga, Katsuragi, Hibari, Inasa, and the hero of New York, Izuku!" They stepped out and lined up before striking Izuku's pose as the crowd went wild. Good and bad shinobi could all agree that Izuku was definitely a Hero for doing what he did and saving the Shinobi Network. "And last but absolutely not least we have the girls from a village in the mountains, The Tohno Tengu Shinobi Group, Yuyaki, Misato, Kumi, Ushimaru, Nachi, and Tsuyu!"
They stepped forth and waved about much like the others had done, finally all ten teams were on the field, "Alright and now without further ado lets all clear the field, teams please select one member to participate in the first event battle!"
Present Mic then turned his head behind him, "And you there dear reader, please stay turned for the battles to come!" "Who are you talking to?" Hanzo questioned.
(A/N): It took so long to make all those team images, I would have done one for Hanzo but unfortunately, I couldn't find an MMD model for Inasa, lastly, the sixth member of ARC, the initials, and the color of the letters are the hint you get as to who it is.
