After a few more days you were discharged from the hospital as your condition was stable.
Right now, you've just arrived at your apartment after your parents drove you home.
They wanted to stay at your place for a while as they wanted to take care of you, but you said you wanted some time for yourself and that you'd be able to handle your stuff alone, as you don't feel weak anymore.
"Home sweet home..."
Standing in the doorway of your apartment, you take in the familiar surroundings. The comforting scent of your own space greets you, making you feel a sense of relief. The journey had been overwhelming, but stepping into your apartment feels strange, but also like a small victory.
You take a moment to appreciate the little things – the way the sunlight streams through the windows, casting warm hues on the furniture, and the sound of silence, interrupted only by the distant hum of city life. It feels good to be back, to have a place where you can call your own.
As you make your way further into your apartment, you notice that your parents have prepared everything meticulously while you were in the hospital. The living room is clean and tidy, fresh flowers sit gently on the coffee table, and your favorite books and manga are neatly arranged on the shelf. It warms your heart to see their love and care reflected in these small details.
You put your bag, where all your stuff from the hospital was in, on the floor and unzipped the bag. The first thing you could see in the bag was Mikasa's scarf, Armin's shell and Eren's key.
Seeing this again made you heart stop for a second.
Carefully getting it out, you hugged those precious gifts.
You really missed them, but not knowing what happened to them or if you ever will see them again just was a huge pain in your heart. This uncertainty kills you inside.
You need answers... you need to know if all this trouble was worth it.
But if Eren would be able to visit you he would have shown up already, but he didn't.
That means he either is not able to visit your world... or... perhaps as the whole past and future changed, he doesn't know your existence.
Then, a small little idea crossed your mind.
Perhaps this is a stupid idea, but...
What if you are somehow able to get to their world?
You sat down on the edge of your bed, looking at your hand.
To get to your world, all Eren had to do was biting his hand, like he used to do when transforming into his titan, and then just think about getting to your world.
You felt extremely stupid for even thinking like that, but you have to try everything. Even if it is stupid and actually impossible.
Well, here goes nothing...

You bit into your hand, and then realized it is not so easy than you thought.
Eren is able to bite his hand with full force so his hand would start to bleed, but you just can't do it. It's like an reflex is stopping you to do it.
Damn it... it looks so easy in the manga/anime...
You could use a knife or something like that to do that, but perhaps what if it does not work then? No, you wanted to do it exactly like Eren...
Breathing in heavily, you gathered all your courage and tried it again.
1...2...3... go!
Once again, you tried to bite your hand and Holy shit, it hurts like a bitch.
The taste of blood was in your mouth and you could feel the warm liquid flowing down your hand.
Despite the pain you tried to concentrate. Think of Paradis... think of freedom... of Eren... the others...
Calm down... relax... concentrate
Slowly opening your eyes again, you were still in your bedroom
"Shit... but what did I expe-"
Suddenly there was a small little yellow flash coming out of your bite-wound
"What the fuck...?"
And with an blink of an eye, your whole environment changed.
This sudden situation made you lose your balance, falling down and now lying on the ground
"Ouch-! Holy sh-"
Looking up at the sky, you had to let this just sink in. It worked, it worked!!
Standing up again and brushing off the dirt from your butt, you analyzed your surroundings.
Is this actually Paradis? Or what if you are somewhere else? How is it even possible that you were able to do that?
That does not matter... what matters is that you are here now.
The first logical thing to do is to look around, making sure this is actually Paradis.
You were indeed in a city, but the city was rather old-fashioned and the architecture was more reminiscent of European cities.
Just like... Shiganshina!
The people also wore old-fashioned simple clothes.
Hope started to bubble up inside you, but you shouldn't celebrate too soon.
There has to be a sign somewhere wich could tell you the name of this place. You could ask a person, but that only makes you look strange and suspicious.
Walking around curiously, you looked around and actually quickly found what you've been looking for.
It was a huge wooden map
'Welcome to Paradis'
As soon as you read the Name, a tear ran down your cheeks.
Although you had many questions why and how you were able to get here, the relief and joy definitely was getting the attention in your mind.
The map showed the island Paradis with all the towns and villages spread out. The largest city seemed to be Mitras, the city that used to be in the middle of the inner wall in Attack in Titan, but Shiganshina was also large.
This island was nothing like what you knew from Attack on Titan anymore.
No walls, but the whole Island seemed to be full of life.
But even though the island is now completely different, every city like Stohess and Trost, or the village where Sasha lived was still there.
There was also a huge park in Shiganshina called
Maria Park, or there was also a Sina Academy and Rose Library.
Among these parks and places you recognize the name of, the maps shows that there is a Statue in the harbor, called "The Statue of Freedom".
But now the most interesting thing:
The red 'you are here' point was in Shiganshina. This made your heart beating even faster. You are in Shiganshina!
The more you looked at this map, the more happy and excited you became.
This Island has grown alot... and there are no walls. That means no titans.
That means everything worked. All this trouble, all the efforts...
You did your best to hold back your tears, as you did not wanted to cry in public.
This map just shows that everything was worth it.
You feel a sense of accomplishment and relief knowing that everything ended up being a happy end.
The tears of joy still wet on your cheeks, you take a moment to appreciate the significance of this moment. The struggles you endured, the obstacles you overcame – they were all worth it.
"Uhm... excuse me?"
A male voice was heard behind you
Quickly wiping away your tears, you turned around.
As soon as you saw the person, your heart stopped beating for a second
"I am sorry to bother you, Miss, but... I couldn't help but notice that there is a bloody wound on your hand... ah where are my manners- my name is Dr. Grisha Jaeger. I just want to help you."
Grisha took something out of his pocket, revealing a business card
'Dr. Grisha Jaeger- general practitioner in Shiganshina'
No way, this has to be some kind of destiny. Grisha, Eren's dad, so he is alive and he is here in Shiganshina too! That means... Eren must be around here too?
You were taken aback by the appearance of Dr. Jaeger.
Still slightly stunned, you glanced down at your hand, seeing the your bite wound that was still bleeding. It does burn a little, but it's nothing serious.
"E-ehm... Thank you, Dr. Jaeger."
you replied, trying to act normal.
"I appreciate your concern. It's just a small injury, nothing to worry about."
"Let me take a look, please."
Grisha stepping closer, putting his business card back in his pocket
Hesitantly you held out your hand so he could have a closer look
"Did... someone bite you?"
You started to panic slightly, thinking about an excuse
"E-ehm yeah. Someone attacked me earlier, but everything is fine now haha!"
"Hm..."
The man carefully examined your hand, his expression turning thoughtful.
"A bite wound is quite unusual. Are you sure everything is alright? It's important to properly clean and treat wounds like these to prevent any complications. Do you know who attacked you? Are you sure you are safe now, Miss?"
"I... think so."
You hesitantly replied
The Doctor took a closer look at your facial expression again, staring at you in silence for a few seconds
"I see you've been crying. I know I am a stranger to you and it actually is not my business, but you've obviously been through something. Shall we go to the police?"
It seems like he is misunderstanding this situation. You kinda regretted saying that someone attacked you as an excuse, but that was the only thing you could come up quickly
"N-no no, it is okay! Really!"
"Hm... then at least let me take care of your bite-wound. I am a doctor after all and I don't want you to get an infection."
Well, that actually is not a bad offer after all. Perhaps spending more time with him also let you gain more information about this place and Eren
"Thank you, Dr Jaeger. That would actually be very nice."
Grisha smiled kindly at you, relieved that you had agreed to let him take care of your wound.
"Alright. I don't live far away from here. At home I have all the stuff I need to do my job. Please, follow me."
You nodded gratefully, agreeing to follow Grisha to his home. The idea of receiving proper care in a comfortable environment put you at ease, and you trusted Grisha's expertise as a doctor.
But what made your heart beating faster is the fact that you might see Eren. Perhaps he is at home? Are you gonna see him now? And if yes... will he know who you are? Will he remember anything?
The past and future changed after all...
Together, you made your way through the streets, your mind filled with curiosity about what is going to happen
"We are here."
Grisha said as you two were now standing in front of his house. It still does look exactly like in the Anime.
The Doctor took out his keys and opened the wooden door
"Please come in, Miss."
"Thank you."
You showed him a warm kind smile and entered the building.
Stepping inside, the inside revealed a cozy living room.
"Ah honey, you are back!"
A female voice was heard upstairs
"Carla, we have a guest."
Grisha said while taking off his shoes
Did he just say Carla? Of course, she's alive now too! You really had to pull yourself together to seem normal, but in your mind your emotions were like a storm.
"Oh? And who?"
Carla walked down the stairs, looking at you
"Oh hello young lady!"
"H-hello."
Seeing Carla alive and happy... this triggered so many emotions inside you. She really looked so beautiful with her long dark hair and her big brown eyes.
"I met her some minutes ago in the City. She has a bite wound and I just want to take care of it"
Grisha explained to his wife
"That is fine. Please have a seat young lady! I'll get you something to drink!"
Carla pointed to the couch and then walked to the kitchen to get you something to drink before you could even thank her for her kindness
"I'll gather the necessary supplies, and we can properly clean and treat your wound."
Grisha added and walked downstairs to his office
You obediently sat down, taking in your surroundings. In front on the couch you sat on was a table with an framed family photo.
Carefully taking a closer look, you could see the person you missed so much and wanted to see again so badly.
Eren...
On this picture, he still had shoulder-long hair, but not tied up in a messy man-bun, but in a ponytail.
The way he smiles on this family portrait... seeing him like this just warms up your heart and a huge wave of relief was just washed over you.
"This is our son, Eren. He looks handsome, eh?"
"WHA-!"
As you looked at this picture and kinda got carried away in your thoughts, you absolutely did not see Carla standing in front of you
"A-ah ehm... he looks okay."
The dark haired woman just giggled and handed you a glass of water
"He looks okay? Come on, you have to admit that he is a very fine looking man!"
Her comment just made your cheeks turn red
"M...mhm..."
Not wanting to make an weird or suspicious appearance, you did not add anything to that and took a sip from the water
"Well, he is single..."
She sits down next to you, smirking
"Oh wait, what is your name actually?"
"My name is y/n l/n"
"Ah right, I also forgot to asked that earlier."
Grisha returned with a tray of supplies, carefully placing it on a nearby table.
"Y/n is such a beautiful name, dear!"
Carla smiled warmly at you
"Heh, thank you Miss Jaeger"
You answered Eren's mother while watching Grisha washing his hands thoroughly, attending to the necessary hygiene protocols.
"Miss Jaeger? Oh come on, you can call me Carla!"
Carla is such an angel. The more she talks the more your heart warms up. Such an kind soul.
"I'll start by cleaning the wound with a gentle antiseptic." Grisha explained, his voice calm and soothing. "It may sting a bit, but it's important to ensure it's properly disinfected. Afterward, I'll apply some antibiotic ointment and dress it with a fresh bandage."
You nodded, preparing yourself for the cleansing process. As Grisha began to clean the bite mark, you couldn't help but notice how gentle and precise his touch was. There was a sense of care in his actions that made you feel safe and protected.
As he finished treating your wound, Grisha stepped back to assess his work, a satisfied smile gracing his face. "There we go, all taken care of. Just remember to keep an eye on it and come back if you notice any signs of infection."

"May I ask where you got this bite-wound from, dear?"
Carla asked curiously as she watched her husband finishing his job
Well, you had no other choice but to say the same excuse you told Grisha earlier.
"Someone attacked me earlier."
That made Carla stand up in shock
"HUH?"
You should have really come up with an better excuse earlier...
"It was just some stranger. It's fine, really!"
You said calmy, hoping that Carla is not making a huge deal out of this
Grisha and Carla exchanged glances, looking concerned
"Well, if you say so y/n..."
Eren's mother let out a sigh.
Suddenly the door opened, making everyone flinch and looking at the direction of the entrance
"Yo. I got the supplies you asked me to get, father."
