Xiao Zhan calmed down a little and still in Yibo's embrace and held Yibo tightly and said to him...
"I'm sorry Yibo...I'm so sorry...(sobs) all this is just too much for me to handle. I'm so tired to having to hide from all these pains and pretend I'm alright and strong. I can't hold on anymore...so much has happened and each pain took a little of my strength with it. Now...I'm just a shell that feels hollow with no purpose. I'm feel like I'm falling into the darkest pit and there's no coming back from it, and I'm sorry...but I can't drag you down that pit with me any longer. Yibo...I'm just a mess...please...you need to think of your future...just...just let me go so that I can find myself again and you can move on with your life without me dragging you into my problems...(crying).."
"Zhan gē...how can you be so selfish...do you think I will be happy without you...? I don't even want to think of finding someone else and don't even try to push me away. It's took late for me to turn back cause I'm already in too deep and I'm not coming back from it...I don't want to. So don't tell me otherwise, I just want to be with you and if this pain is what I have to endure just so I could be with you then so be it. I'm not letting you go, you're mine...forever mine and I'm not leaving you ..so don't even think of leaving me cause I won't take it too well. You need to pull yourself together and share your feelings with me, I'm with you in this...so don't dare think of anything stupid cause I will go that same path of stupidity with you. If you care about me then you will start thinking rationally cause whatever decision you take I'll be taking it with you. If you want to go to the deepest and lowest darkest place then please remember that I'll be right there with you..!. (Upset)"
"But I don't want you to do that Yibo...don't you understand...? You cannot keep breaking your laws just for me, your life was peacefully before you met me. (Sad chuckle) to tell you the truth...my life was peacefull before I met you...I don't know what happened...how did I even end up like this...? I just need to find my bearings again...without you...I'm my father's son...his only son to be exact...but I have let him down by following what I thought was the right way to my happiness. I'm sorry...I don't want to continue with this relationship... Yibo...I'm breaking up with you...!!"
Yibo felt like a bucket of cold water had been poured on him followed by a hot one. He couldn't believe what Zhan had just said, so..he let go of Zhan from his embrace and looked at him in the eyes. He needed to see what Zhan really said, by looking at him dead in the eyes. Zhan couldn't look at him, it wasn't because he didn't want to because he did. He wanted to take a good look of the man who meant so much to him for the last time before he went away from him, but tears filled his eyes and everything became blurry for him. He couldn't see the face he wanted to see the way he wanted to see it. He wanted so much to touch Yibo's face...run his finger in his cheek up to his lips...give him the last kiss before finally telling him goodbye. Yibo was so hurt and confused...but most of all...he was mad...mad at Zhan for speaking the words he never wanted to hear especially from him. So...the minute his mind reminded him of what Zhan said, he snapped and said...
"You're what...? Zhan gē...you're not serious ...how can you talk about break up so casually...? How could you even think of such a thing...? What about me...? Have you thought what I would do without you...? You can't do this to me...you cannot leave me...I can't let you leave me...I won't...allow you to leave me...!!!"
Zhan cleared the tears from his eyes and he was about to say something when he finally saw the look on Yibo's face. The look of anger and confusion...the look that would make everyone think that he had lost everything in his life. The eyes that were filled with grief from loosing a loved one, he couldn't say what he wanted to say cause he knew it would break Yibo. He didn't know that Yibo was already broken by what he said, so...he was about to place his hand on top of Yibo's head when Yibo moved away from it and got off the bed. He didn't like it when Zhan treated him like that, he knew he was younger to him but he had made it clear that he wanted to be with him and not to be his little brother.
He knew Zhan wanted to brother him when he tried to touch his head cause he had done it once and he didn't like it. His got so frustrated because he thought that Zhan didn't take his feelings seriously as he should. He got up from the bed and was about to go to the bathroom when Zhan looked at him and with tears in his eyes while sobbing painfully and said..
"I'm leaving your house Yibo...today...I think that will be best for everyone. I will go talk to my parents after I freshen up, thank you for protecting us...I will never forget it.!"
Yibo didn't reply, he clutched his hand into a fist and Zhan could see the veins in his arms that stretched like dozens of lightning in a heavy storm as Yibo walked away from him to dissapeared into the bathroom. Zhan felt the freedom to cry his heart out, but silent enough so that Yibo or his parents didn't hear. Their guests room was very far from Yibo's but he couldn't be careless as he thought that maybe they might hear him if they decided to come check up on him. He took a pillow and screamed into it, he was in pain...both physically and mentally. His mind was all over the place with the loss of his child who he was in denial with from the time he ce back from the hospital. No one actually knew what Zhan was thinking or feeling since he came back cause he did it too well from everyone around him.
In the bathroom...Yibo wasn't better. He went and stood under the warm shower with his clothes still on and tears fell freely while being carried away by the water from the shower. He was in so much pain that he couldn't cry, his cries were just tears falling..in silence. He wished he could scream and reduce the pain he had in his heart but he couldn't, he wished he could but he knew he had to stay strong. He didn't want Zhan thinking and adding that he was too young and too immature to handle situations like the ones they were in, that he cries when they had a fight and prove him too young for him. He didn't want him to use any excuse to plaster his decision of leaving him, even though he knew he was going to fight Zhan from acting on his decision to leave him...he couldn't help but feel drained by Zhan just giving up on them.
It was already morning when Yibo finally CE out if the bathroom, he had been in there for three hours and it was a little after seven AM when he came out. He had finished taking a shower and dumped his wet pyjamas in the bathtub, dried his hair in the bathroom and came out naked. Yes...he didn't want to wrap a towel round his waist, he didn't feel like it. He walked towards the bed and took his phone on the nightstand and charged it before going to the closet and looked for something to wear. He did that all this time while Zhan was looking at him, from his hair which was a bit messy from the hair dryer to his masculine body and...lastly ...his most loved part in Yibo's body...the great MIND watering member that wasn't standing up at the time but it was too much for Zhan because of how it hanged strong and long between Yibo's thighs.
He was mezmerised for a few minutes until he Yibo turned around and realised what Zhan was looking at. He quickly put his clothes on went over to the bed side to grab his watch from the nightstand and put it on. Zhan blinked a few times, feeling embarrassed from being caught in the act, he cleared his throat and was about to get off from the bed and go to the bathroom when he felt his body become a little stiff. Yibo was right there and he saw what was happening, he looked at Zhan to see if he had any expression in pain before taking him in his arms and held him bridal style and took him to the bathroom. He did that in silence and Zhan couldn't help but look at his eyes all the way to the bathroom to remind himself of the man he liked when he left the mansion.
In the bathroom...Yibo gently put him down, stood him up under the shower head and helped him take his clothes off and adjusted the water temperature to Zhan's liking. He threw his pyjamas in the bathtub aswell and got out of the bathroom. Zhan was shocked by what Yibo had just done and he couldn't look away from him. He watched him undress him his pyjamas as well as his underwear without even reacting to his member which had just stood up while being accidentally touched by the hands that made him feel things that he didn't know possible. Twitching as it craved for more than just a slip of a hand, and when Yibo turned around it was already too late for it to stand down.
When Yibo exited the bathroom, Zhan was in so much pain, seeing Yibo the way he was...the way Yibo reacted as if he wasn't even interested in his proudly stood young man down there really caught him off guard. Even though he had surgery a few weeks ago, he was fine and healing very well and that was why the doctor allowed his discharge. He was very well ready to go down with Yibo anytime as at that time he blamed himself for speaking to Yibo about break up too early before having him all to himself first. He tried his best not to think too much about his favourite time with Yibo so that he could finish taking his shower.
Fifty minutes later, after struggling to calm his junior down there...he came came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. He went straight to the wardrobe and took some clothes to wear, Yibo was not in the room so he was free to try again to touch himself so that his junior could calm down but that didn't work. He was so used to Yibo's touches that touching himself was such a struggle. He stayed up for twenty more minutes before going downstairs and joined everyone for breakfast. Yibo had first went downstairs and found Zhan's mother busy preparing breakfast together with the head maid and immediately when he went by the kitchen...Zhan's mother saw that something must have happened between his son and Yibo.
Mrs Xiao asked for the maid to help her finish up where she had left of as she was too worried about Yibo. Yibo went to the back garden and sat down on the bench while he kept massaging the back of his neck. He was stressed about Zhan since Zhan was kidnapped and he didn't think Zhan would worsen how he felt like that so early in the morning. Mrs Xiao came out and sat silently on the bench with Yibo and the second Yibo realised he was not alone anymore...he quickly greeted her with a smile before his expression went back to the way it was before she got there. There was dead silence between them and Yibo didn't know how to react and was about to stand up when Mrs Xiao said to him with her most gentle voice...
"Son...why do you look like the world is being out in your shoulders...? What's wrong...?"
"Oh...aunty...it's nothing... I was just lost in thoughts, but I'm fine...(nervous chuckle)"
Yibo was trying so hard to hide how he felt from her, unknown to him that you don't get old and nit know anything. She gave him a smile and said...
"What did my son do to you...? You know...I might be able to help...who knows...?(playful wink)"
Yibo was left with no choice but to tell her, he thought maybe she could see things differently. Maybe help him understand why Zhan suddenly took that decision to break up with him. He said..
"Aunty...Zhan gē has broken up with me...!"
" Why..? I thought he was happy with you...what really happened...?"
"I don't know, I know he's hurt...I get it...but taking such a decision isn't gonna help him nor his situation. I don't know why he likes to take decisions for himself and not care about how I feel, I don't know what I should do cause I cannot help him and protect him if he doesn't want me by his side."
"So you mean...you want to be with him to protect him...?"
"Yes aunty....that man is out there looking for him and he will not rest until he turns him into what he wants. And...Uhm...well...I...I love him..very much, ever since I met him I cannot picture my life without him. He's been in every plan if mine since the time we met years ago "
"I see...Yibo...son...you cannot be with him now just because you want to protect him. Even love alone isn't enough at times. You need to keep a fair balance between your love and protecting him. Even so...you have been doing nothing but protecting him all these times that he has become relaxed. Love is all about give and take, you cannot always be the one who gives and receive nothing in return. He needs to learn to appreciate what is being given at the time it's being given to him. So...just let him be for now..."
"I can't aunty...I must do something cause he's planning leaving today with you."
" Well...then that's great then...it means he has to talk to me first. Don't worry uh..just go inside and have your breakfast"
"But aunty..."
"No buts...! Just go inside. And don't you show that look you have on now inside... Now go on inside now, he'll be down in any minute now."
Yibo went inside as he listened to Mrs Xiao even though he didn't understand what she had in mind. Immediately when he say down on the dining table, Zhan came down stairs and joined Yibo and his mother who seemed concerntrated on the meal that was being placed right before their eyes when a few minutes later Mr also came downstairs and joined them. Mr Xiao's relationship with Yibo had already gotten better even though he didn't like the idea that his son was being laid in his back while Yibo explored his every inch..but ..he really appreciate him for always being there for his son and protecting him when he couldn't. So...except for that...he was fine with Yibo and they were almost in good terms with each other. They greeted each other and as they sat around the table to have the first meal of the day together after quite some time.
There was complete silence around the room and only the sound of the utensils being in contact with the plates was the only noise that could be heard. Yibo was eating his food but his appetite was fine from the news that were delivered to him in the early morning of that very same day. Zhan waited till an hour later when everyone had finished their breakfast before he looked at his mother and father and said...
"Pā...Ma...we will be going home today, you can pack your stuff. I'm feeling very well since before I was discharged so no need to worry about me. I'm taking my pills as the doctor prescribed and I'm a hundred percent fine healthwise.."
"Then what about emotionally...?"Zhan Zhan dear...are you really fine emotionally and mentally..?dear...you know we are getting old right..? Well...then you must know not to move us here and there constantly cause I'm afraid our old age would not permit such an activities. I don't think we need to rush going back before the doctor comes and checks if you're really healed. So...I suggest that we wait till he comes ok..? I need to have my morning exercise...I'm late today...again.."
"Mā...why do I have a feeling that you're enjoying going up and down that elavator and you've forgotten about your house..? We need to leave mā...we cannot overstay our welcome, you know that cause you're the one who taught me that."
"I'm not overstaying if the owner wants me here, besides...you cannot leave just yet before that man is found."
"Mā...please...if he wants me then he would've found me already...we need to leave mā.."
"Have you talked to Yibo about it first...?"
"What do you mean 'talked to him first'..? Yes I told him were leaving today."
"Zhan Zhan...you told Yibo that you're leaving, you didn't talk to him about it. You're planning on leaving the safest place for you in this entire world and you say that man would find you if he was looking for you...? Are you even listening to yourself dear...? If you leave now and that man finds you...what do you expect me and your father to do...? Should we call Yibo to find you...? we just cannot become helpless and let him take you.."
"Mā...come on...I can't always rely on Yibo for protection, I must learn to take care of myself and find ways to deal with situations like that without relying on anyone....even the police."
"Son...do you know....? Right now you sound like I have spoiled you enough that you don't seem to see it or care that Yibo had been working himself and his men so hard to protect and save you from harm. Why are you being ungrateful to him son..? I thought you said you liked him...? Or have your feelings for him changed..?"
Zhan went silent...he had never in his dreams did he thought his mother would say something like that about Yibo. He thought his mother didn't like him and that he would never approve of their love but that was the very first time he saw and heard it for himself. His mother speaking for Yibo like that made him realise that a lot has happened since he was kidnapped. He found ways to escape explaining himself since he didn't want to tell his parents... especially Yibo, about how he really felt about all that had happened to him. He kept giving reasons which might have sounded valid to someone who didn't know him, but I guess Mrs Xiao knew him like the back of her hand and his reasons turned to excuses according to his mother . Zhan's mother kept pushing to know the real reason until a doorbell rang and Barry went to open the door. No one even saw or heard the three bodyguards enter the room as Mr Xiao and Yibo were intently listening to Zhan and his mother, trying to understand each of their reasons for the change of behaviour.
A minute later , Barry came in with Jake...the doctor and he smiled as he saw Zhan up and about while mingling with people around him. It was a good sign for Jake that Zhan was doing better than he imagined. After his greetings...Mrs Xiao got up and left the room and went to the front garden and her husband was worried since it was the first time both his wife and son ever had a serious conversation like the one they had a few minutes ago. He was worried that there might be tension between them so he wanted to make sure his wife knew what she was doing. He stood up and followed her outside, Barry and others also went outside when Jake asked Zhan if they could go upstairs for a check up.
Yibo stood up about to go outside to plan ways to make Zhan stay when Jake asked him to be there when he gives Zhan a check up. Yibo looked at Zhan then at Jake and back at Zhan again to see if he had an objection about what Jake has said. This made Jake realise that they had a misunderstanding and that was why Yibo was hassitant go with them. Zhan didn't say anything, he just stood up and went upstairs when Jake and Yibo followed behind. He didn't want Jake to know what was happening between him and Yibo so he couldn't refuse what Jake said about Yibo joining them. He wanted so bad to refuse him but then thought that maybe Yibo might feel better if he found out for himself that he was fine.
Thirty minutes later Jake finished his check up while Yibo on the other hand was looking at Zhan's face the entire time to catch any expression of pain. Luckily...Zhan was indeed fine and Jake also stated that before changing Zhan's prescription and said...
"Mr Zhan... You healed really fast and I must say I'm happy with the way your health is now. But how are you mentally...?"
"Uhm...I...I'm fine...(nervous chuckle) as you saw for yourself before you walked in. Well..I'm sorry you had to hear that ..my mother can be quite a character at times..(nervous chuckle)"
" Yes... You two really know how to turn up the atmosphere don't you...?(chuckle) but Mr Zhan...aren't you hiding what you really feel with your smile...? You look stressed...what's the problem..? Is it something you can tell me your doctor or your boyfriend, maybe since you're comfortable with him and not yet with me...? You need to talk about how you feel more often in order to heal. What happened to you was horrible and you need to talk about it more often so that it gets easier. You can talk to Mr Yibo cause I think talking about it with your partner is a great start in terms of comfortability."
" He... he's no longer my-... I mean... I do feel comfortable with him it's just ..."
" He's no longer your what Mr Zhan...? Mr Yibo...did you two have a fight...? At such a critical time you still have time to fight...? Mr Yibo...Mr Zhan is not doing well mentally, you shouldn't be stressing him at times like this... What he wanted to say was that you two are no longer together right ..? You are such an insensitive man Mr Wang Yibo.. !( Angry) you got him pregnant and you dumped him after he lost your baby...? He's a man for heaven's sake he wasn't even supposed to bear kids and you got lucky he can. So you thought that breaking up would make your pains dissapear..? I'm so disappointed in your way of thinking. I still remember the way he was when you hurt him the first time I came here, I thought it was wrong but who was I to judge you...? At first I thought you got a little excited and that's why he was in that kind of shape, but when Baba told me you were punishing him...I couldn't believe it. Mr Yibo...I don't wannajump into conclusions but...what kind of man are you...?"( Whisper yelling)
" I'm sorry doctor...I should've thought more about how he feels right and not rush into breaking up. I guess I'm useless that I can't even help him when he needs me the most. At first it was more of protecting him than loving him, that I admit. I couldn't balance the two until I talked to someone who made me see things differently. I love him...I never stopped loving him I just got too worried about him and I forgot to tell him how I felt about him. Now I guess it's too late to fix that ..."
Yibo couldn't help himself, tears fell down his face uncontrollably, he didn't even realise the state he was in until he felt a hand wipe the tears away. He looked up and saw Zhan busy wiping his tears with his thumb with tears streaming down his eyes as well. Yibo panicked and held Zhan in his arms to give him a tight hug. He couldn't bear to see Zhan like that ..he never liked to see him sad..unhappy or worse .. crying. A minute later they broke away from their embrace, Zhan sat down on the bed and pulled Yibo to stand beside him. He looked at Jake and said...
"Yibo didn't break up with me...I broke up with him.
I just couldn't drag him into my mess anymore, I disrupted his life enough and I think it's time to stop relying on him for protection cause I don't want to get him into trouble. What scares me the most is that he can even break the law for me if he has to and I'm so terrified about that. Yibo...you didn't do anything wrong...infact...you did everything right that I even started to feel like I'm taking advantage of your love for me. I mean...I don't fear anything anymore cause I know you're always there to protect me, love me...and spoil me with the way you treat me. I think you deserve to know the real reason why I'm acting like this..."
Zhan looked down and let go of Yibo's hand and with a heartbreaking expression he said...
" I feel like a freak...(sobbing) you wanted a relationship with a man and you fell for a freak who doesn't even know his own gender. I'm sorry I'm like this but I didn't choose to be like this...I don't...- I don't want to be like this and I'm scared that you might think it's too much for you and leave me one day. I love you Yibo ..I don't usually tell you that ..but I do love you...with my whole being, I just can't give you what you want and that's why I took the decision to break up with you. But that isn't the only reason... I ...I...(Painful sobs ) I hate it that I can fall pregnant, I didn't want that baby and I feel like a monster for thinking that way. How can I give birth..? I'm a man for heaven's sake...how can nature make a kind of mistake like this with me...? I don't want to have kids, what will people say...what will my kids call me...? Gosh...I even sound like a woman talking about it like this.!!"
Yibo sat down next to Zhan and help his hands in his...he couldn't find the right words at that time to say...so he embraced Zhan so tight and ran his hand up and down his back to help soothe Zhan's painful heart. His cries broke Yibo and so did what he said about himself. Yibo let Zhan cry until he felt him calm down, Jake was also a mess as he was heartbroken by what Zhan thought if himself. Jake was a doctor, not a psychiatrist...he also knew how it felt to be different since he was gay himself. Zhan's words reminded him of himself, how he felt when he was first attracted to a boy in school when he was thirteen.
When he slept with a boy and he felt the worst pain but also felt the greatest pleasure. His first time was memorable for him cause it was in the school's music room and he couldn't finish his classes because he couldn't walk because of the pain he felt. He stayed in there until classes were over,but luckily...the boy who had gave him his first time stayed with him in the music room until the school was out before he helped him to his dormitory room. What happened to him after that day made him want to go study abroad. He was bullied as word came out about what he had done in the music room.
His first time was interrogated by his friends and he thought his friends would keep it a secret when he told them what he and Jake did but instead...they ended up being their worst nightmares because of the way they bullied them until the boy quit school. He went abroad and that was when he saw more people like him did he understand he was not alone and wasn't a freak. His first experience didn't leave him though, but he learned to live with it especially when he returned from abroad as a doctor...one of his bullies recognised him one day and his perception of him didn't change...making him remember his past and he broke down.
It was with the help of his current boyfriend that he became who he was, loving life and also accepting who he was and embracing it even thought his parents...like others of his relatives and citizens were still not very accepting of gays. He learned to focus in his happiness and moved away from his parents but the whole China was like that. He only hoped that people would become more educated about who and how people like him were. There was still a long road ahead that path but he learned to be patient enough to stop crying everytime there were bad comments when walking hand in hand with his boyfriend on the street.
Zhan finally calmed down and Yibo looked at him in the eyes and while wiping his tears he said...
"Zhan gē...how can you keep all this inside all this time ..? I didn't realise how you felt, how hard you were struggling with yourself. I'm sorry about that, to tell you the truth ... I didn't understand when you told me how different you were and I saw it for myself. At first I couldn't handle it, the thought of someone doing those kind of things to you left me unable to deal with a lot of things concerning me and you. I even dissapeared and you thight I was running from what you were...but I wasn't ... Zhan gē...what and who you are doesn't bother me. I'm not ashamed of you, I don't think you're a freak I just live you for who you are inside and out that's it..!
Ever since I was young I liked things that no one else had, I don't want something if someone already has it...same applies to my job and you... You are one of a kind and that drew me even closer to you cause I found me someone who isn't like anyone who I can call mine. I knew you felt uncomfortable about yourself but I didn't realise it was to this extent. I don't want you different...I want this Zhan gē who is unique...who can fall pregnant cause then we won't have to adopt. This Zhan gē who is sensitive and gentle like a bunny but act like a lion when necessary. I like this Zhan gē who's smile makes me loose myself at times that I don't know what to do with myself. I wake up every night when you're with me and I look at you...I can't help but feel blessed but threatened at the same time.
That I must have been a good person in my past life to have to be blessed by such a gem as you. I also feel threatened that there is someone out there who wants to take away what the Gods had given me. I cannot sleep very well cause I'm scared of loosing you...if it was up to me...I would never let you go to work or leave my sight.. ever..! Zhan gē...I love you!"
Yibo's confession made Jake smile and cry at the same time. He had never heard words like that being spoken by anyone and even though he knew his boyfriend loved him, he just knew that he was not capable of such words. Zhan was a mess, he was looking at Yibo in the eyes as he said those words and he saw it...he finally saw how Yibo felt about him. Their embrace became too much for Jake that he decided to leave the room and let the two do their stuff...and went downstairs to meet Baba to have a chat until it was time to leave.
Barry and Larry were down in the basement of their back house with the men who had been sent by Yibo's ex and Zhan's manager. They were in different rooms which were sound proof do it was impossible for them to hear anything else except for the sounds of their breaths. Barry had spent the night going back and forth interrogating each of them ... especially Zhan's manager, using his special forces skills to get the information he needed out of her and he couldn't believe the reason she did what she did. He stopped and decided to wait for Yibo to decided what to do with her.
Later in the evening when Zhan was already asleep...tired from the emotions be had to go through during the day, and Yibo comforting him until he calmed down and slept. They had spent the whole day upstairs just embracing each other, talking about things that needed to be discussed to avoid any misunderstandings in the future. They were sure about how they felt for each other and how they were going to move forward from what had happened to both of them. Yibo was greatly affected as week by what had happened to Zhan especially as he had lost himself and stopped taking care of himself for almost a week. Depressed and anxious because of Zhan's kidnapping. They promise to talk to each other more and learn to love each other.
Yibo went downstairs and after assuring Zhan's parents that Zhan was fine and resting upstairs, he went to meet his men. Down in the security room in the back house, Baba was sitting in the corner bitting his fingernails while Barry, Larry and Yibo were looking at the footage from when Barry interrogated the two men as well as Zhan's manager. It took Yibo, as well as the two almost an hour to realise that Baba was not present in the conversation they were having when Yibo turned around to see where he was. He saw that he was stressed about something when he decided that it was time he listened to Baba about how his mission.
He found Barry waiting for his boss at the bottom of the stairs and he asked to see Baba.
Barry went outside with him to meet Baba who was sitting in the garden, the morning sun hitting his face as he tilted his head to the back of the bench. Jake sat down next to Baba and he couldn't help but notice that Baba's mind was somewhere other than where he was at the time. He snapped his fingers to make his presence known. They officially exchanged greetings with hugs and a few minutes later Jake thought he should ask as he saw his friend was stressed. But Baba's answer was not satisfactory but he had to to take it.
"I'm sorry my friend...you know I cannot discuss my work with you."
That was all baba could say and Jake understood it as well.
Yibo knew that Baba was the one who had rescued Zhan and Larry but he paused in the details on how he did it because he was still worried about Zhan. Now that everything was better, he wanted to hear Baba's report from his mission. Baba looked at them as they sat down looking at him when he stood up from his chair. He looked at all of them and landed his eyes in Larry...looking at him dead in his eyes which made Larry feel shivers as he looked into the eyes of the man he trutlly loved. The man he missed to touch and do all sorts of naughty things to, when they all came back Larry and Barry were in a bad shape so they couldn't do anything, they couldn't even touch each 8ther or sleep in the same room because Baba was busy with.. stuff. A tear fell down his one eye and Larry and others realised that something was wrong. He said...
"Larry...I'm sorry bǎobèi...I didn't had a dozen of choices...but I chose one. I'm sorry I betrayed you.."
"Baobei....what are you taking about...? You can never betray me...I know you like the back if my hand. Please stop crying...it isn't like you to cry like this..."
Larry was being as gentle as he could, he had never seen Baba cry or angry...just a little upset. But then here he was crying his eyes out saying things he couldn't understand. He was about to stand up to comfort him when Baba stopped him form taking a step towards him, shocking everyone by that when he sat down and finally said what had been bothering him all this time.
" Boss...I broke the code...I'm sorry...you can punish me and throw me out ...I deserve it, Barry gē...I betrayed your trust in me...I did the opposite of what you taught me even with the choices I had...I still chose to do it. I...I...I slept with my target..!!!
"What...??? You slept with who...??"
Larry's question echoed around the security room, as he stood up looking down at Baba, when all eyes were on him. He was furious...so furious that he demanded an answer from Baba, who chose to ignore his question and continue crying. Larry's shouts made him tremble in fear, he was scared of what he would do to him after betraying him like that. Baba cried for what he did to his family...yes...he took them as his family and he knew things would never be the same again after what he just said. He knew there was a possibility of being thrown out of the team by Barry for breaking the code. Barry had made it their number one rule...to never sleep with their target.
Secondly....he knew that Yibo would definately chase him out of his house for sleeping with his enemy. All those things he knew...but he didn't know what Larry would do to him or about the news. He saw how hurt he was and he wished he was presented with a possibility of going back in time to do things differently. He wiped his tears and looked at Yibo and straightened his back, he stuck to it by continuing an saying...
" I don't regret what I did...I would do it again if I have to and it doesn't matter what you all think. Boss...I'm ready to take you punishment, I have also packed my bags and my ride is on speed dial since I didn't know what kind of punishment you would give me."
Larry was last of words as he saw the man he loved say he didn't regret doing what he did. He was so hurt thinking that Baba didn't love him anymore, he didn't care about him anymore and he wanted so bad to go back to the man who he slept with. He couldn't sit nor stand when he decided to stand up, went to the garage and took his motorcycle and sped out of the mansion. Barry didn't know what to say but Yibo knew better, he was younger than them but he understood everything very well... especially what concerned the three men who practically raised him up. He didn't say anything, he just stood up and patted Baba on his back and went to work in his home office.
Three weeks passed and everything was great in the mansion. The two men were handed over to the police and Zhan's manager...well...Yibo told Zhan about her doings and even told him that he was locked at the back house in the basement when he asked Yibo if he could see her. He did and upon seeing Zhan she confessed everything... She cried as she confessed and said...
" I'm so sorry Zhan...I did everything out of love. Mr Wen was my high school sweetheart and I loved him so much. We were great together until his sister died them he changed, he became thirsty for wealth that he even conspired to make my best friend fall him and later kill her parents for money.
