With a confident smile on his face, Vanoss stepped forward.
"Are you going now?" Basically tilted his head. "They will surely send someone strong for this battle. Is it not better if you just had prep time before you go into battle? That way, the chances of winning will be higher."
"It's not necessary. I'm confident I won't lose."
"Yeah..."
The following few days was a pleasant time for Vanoss and the Banana Bus Crew, other than Vanoss being ignored by Isabella, even giving him a glare when they met for some reason, he still had his turn on the final rounds of the Tournament. After several matches, even Terroriser and Delirious were finished and won... well except for Marcel Wildcat.
But now, it is Vanoss' turn.
"Seriously, I won't lose," Vanoss said to himself confidently. "Trust me."
Marcel, along with Wildcat, Moo, and the others except for Terroriser who isn't present right now both roll their eyes. Vanoss smiled back before walking towards the stadium. When he arrived, he saw his enemy waiting for him already.
"Ah, we have met again." Vanoss said as he smiled at the opponent he was facing across the arena, which was a ruined city.
And that opponent was Mu Quan.
"Well, the most important battle must be fought by the two rivals, right?" Mu Quan replied, his lips curved up slightly which broke his usual indifferent look. "I hope you don't disappoint me, because I'm gonna show you the power of a being with countless lives."
"Don't worry, I won't," Vanoss said, but his expression changed to a look of confusion when he mentioned the last part. "And what did you mean by the last words you said?"
"Oh? Are you curious?" Mu Quan asked with an amused expression. "Unfortunately, I can't tell you now. However, don't worry, you will know very soon."
Vanoss squinted his eyes, "What do you mean?"
Mu Quan did not answer, instead he stared at Vanoss back to his usul cold look, "I already said too much. Let's stop our chat here, Vanoss. After all, now is time for our battle."
After saying that, Mu Quan created a small space-tearing rift to his side and pulled out his strongest weapon, [Imperial Sword Zenshin] and took a fighting stance, and at the same time…
"[Apex Predator]"
The moment he says it, a terrifying amount of aura emits from his body that rocked the whole stadium, and shattered the earth beneath him.
"Referee, you can start the battle whenever you want."
The demigod, who is Han Yufei himself, looked at the two of them for a few seconds and nodded.

"Ready." Mu Quan said as his aura expanded even more.
"I'm all in." Vanoss said as he took his sword and gun.
"Then, start!"
As soon as the voice of the demigod fell, Mu Quan took a step forward, and…

Like a nuke being detonated, his body suddenly disappeared and the entire area behind him exploded, before appearing at Vanoss' right and swinging his long katana down at the speed that Vanoss might already get decapitated in their first fight during the battle royale.

Using both power of magic and technology, Vanoss easily avoids a very fast attack that he couldn't even perceive before responding by delivering a kick, coating with a tremendous amount of mana towards Mu Quan's head.
Widening his eyes in shock, Mu Quan quickly got rid of the feeling and blocked the attack with his sword.
CLANG!
With a loud clang, Mu Quan was launched in the air and vanished from sight before reappearing again on the ground unharmed, as if the action he did never happens.
Just like that, the battle that would decide today's challenge started.

"How's the situation?"
A grating voice echoed throughout a massive room filled with thousands of people that was lit by countless candles that lay in the walls.
The voice belonged to an incredibly pale woman as she lay her blood red eyes on the floating dark orb in the middle of the room that shined intensely, causing a tense and somber atmosphere enveloped the room.
Standing beside her were multiple figures who looked back at her with respectful and subservient gazes.
"Everything seems to be going just as planned, madam Lois"
Replying to her was another figure sitting next to her. There were hints of ridicule in his voice, but despite that, he still made sure to be respectful when addressing the woman.
"According to our intel, all the other units were in place. We've also already sent out our own unit to support the Vice-leader's son to capture our target. We won't make the same mistake like that idiot Xavier."
"That's good." The woman named Lois nodded her head in satisfaction. "This situation has been going on for too long. We should activate the Dungeon Overload so we'll get rid of these pests and get this over with."
Although the whole thing was annoying, it was also a great opportunity for Lois. If she managed to activate the dungeon overload capable of blowing up dungeons below the city, she might even be able to get promoted.
Just the thought made her salivate. Reaching this conclusion, she stood up and started barking orders.
"Whatever you do, make sure you spend all your mana into it to increase its destructive power!"
Suddenly, the underground area started intensely shaking; this startled thousands of people present, they clutched their weapons, and their bodies tensed up.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the underground, Terroriser frowned at the sudden shake.
"Seriously, why the hell would someone put an underground tunnel below the dam stadium." He complained as he continued to move ahead.
Not long ago, Terroriser was investigating again, and this time looking for a secret underground tunnel that he discovered under the stadium by accident when he ate a pack of corn dogs.
"Jeez, this place's security sucks ass, no wonder why smugglers were able to get in here." Terroriser said in disappointment.
Shake! Shake!
The shaking began more violently, almost as if someone was shaking the place so intensely that Terroriser fell on the ground and was forced to find something to hold or else he would be tossed away.
Suddenly, the shaking stopped, and Terroriser heaved a sigh of relief.
"Thank God it's stopped."
However, contrary to his words, his expression twisted instantly as he swore.
''Shit!"
The underground tunnel started to shake more violently, and with his weight, the floor beneath him cracked apart and fell into a deep hole.
When Terroriser opened his eyes again, he could see multiple light sources and thought he's inside some sort of infrastructure, it was when he heard the gaping sounds of a thousand people.
Widening his eyes, Terroriser had little time for a reprieve. Standing up from the crater he was laying, he scans the entire room and realizes there were at least three thousand people surrounding him, all armed with magical enchanted melee weapons, and even guns. And flying in the air were four individuals, although no demigods, they seemed to have spells to make them capable of flying.
"Tch, I was wondering what was making all that noise. Turns out it's just some human." Lois said. Nearing a light source, her appearance was fully shown, with the appearance of a tall and buxom woman with long, navy blue hair that obscured her right eye which was blood red.
"Come now. He might be a little bit entertaining since he was able to survive a thousand meter fall." A male member commented.
"Whatever. Let's just kill him and get this over with. The third person said dismissively.
Terroriser was silent as the three spoke and circled above him like vultures waiting for prey. To be honest, he had expected he would need to hunt them down one by one. However, this made things much easier. With his enemies surrounding him and these people flying above him that appeared to be the strongest in the room, Terroriser knew exactly what to do.
"Hmm, not saying anything human? Too scared to speak?" A blonde woman taunted.
Terroriser snorted, "Nah, I'm not scared. But I do have a few words to say." He then conjured his chaingun into his hands, as the weapon was in mobile turret mode. "Say hello to my little friends!"
Before anyone could react, Terroriser opened fire. In that split second, seventy people were gunned down. With a maniac grin on his face, Terroriser pointed one of the machine guns at the three individuals, forcing them to disperse.
"GYAAH!"
"WHAT THE HELL?!"
"DAMN IT ARGH!"
"HELP!"
These were some of the many words coming from the people as more of their comrades were killed. Some had tried to fire back, but their magical attacks or bullets did nothing. Someone attempted to attack Terroriser from behind. However, the latter knocked him down with one of his guns, before crushing his skull under his boot.
Anyone got too close, then Terroriser would use the weapon as a blunt weapon to bash their heads in, as he did to one of them. Said person was forced to his knees, allowing Terroriser to wrap his free arm around the man's neck, snapping it in half. Terroriser then pulled out a strange-looking grenade and tossed it at a group of people taking cover behind a pillar.
"What the-"
VUAAAMM!
Before they could react, the grenade exploded, creating a black hole that sucks hundreds of them in an instant. Back to Terroriser, he fired hundreds of more rounds up at the people flying, but the three flew through the air to dodge them.
In just ten seconds, the whole room was slowly becoming filled with blood, bodies and bullets. By the time the flying individuals realize, 2/3 of their army were already wiped out.
"Attack!"
Managing to hold herself alive, Lois ordered everyone to attack.
At her orders, everyone inside of the room muster themselves to attack and did as she asked. Raising their hands and guns, or dashing toward Terroriser's direction, everyone attacked at the same time.
Frightening attacks shot toward him one after another as the room started to quake, and the dust in the air thickened.
"Die you bastard!" Lois screamed as she watched her subordinates' relentless attacks head toward the human. She, of course, didn't simply just watch.
Raising her hand, she sent out multiple attacks. She did not hold back in any of her attacks as powerful blasts of energy shot at him, an attack capable of decaying anything in an instant.
Rumble! Rumble!
The combined attacks of multiple powerful beings caused the whole room to shake uncontrollably, and it wasn't long before it started to crumble apart. But none of them cared as they continued to attack. Even if everything does collapse, one of her subordinates will just cast a spell to hold everything up with ease.
This persisted for quite a bit before the woman raised her hand and shouted.
"Stop."
Almost simultaneously, everyone stopped attacking. Although she couldn't see as the raised dust was covering her vision, a satisfied smile emerged on her face.
"This should do it." Lois said as she let out a long breath and finally relaxed her shoulders, but it was then that she heard a voice.
"You guys done?"
"Huh?"
Stepping out of the cloud of dust, Terroriser revealed himself with his exposed endoskeleton beneath his flesh. At the next second, his skin began to regenerate all thanks to the power of nano-technology.
This causes Lois to realize something. Realizing that this description is perfect to a certain person that had destroyed Sexton Hale's base.
By the time she realizes what they are facing, she tries to warn everyone. Unfortunately, it was already too late.
"Die, bastard!" One of her subordinates screamed, charging at Terroriser with a spear made out of corrosive darkness. Unfortunately for him, she underestimated Terroriser's reflexes as he easily sidestepped her.
Before the blonde could get away, Terroriser grabbed her by the leg and slammed her against the floor. The blonde girl didn't even have time to get up when Terroriser drew out his Netherite Sword and with one swing, separated her head from her body.
"Mittlet!" Another of her subordinates shouted as he and more of them launched their attack at Terroriser. The intense magical attacks were simply bounced off of Terroriser as he fired his remaining machine gun at them. But they once again flew around the room, dodging the bullets.
When the gun finally ran dry, Terroriser put them back into his inventory before pulling out his combat shotgun. Then taking a running start, Terroriser leapt into the air towards them. Raising his weapon, Terroriser fired.
BAM!
One of them was closer and was killed instantly. The blast tore off most of the person's chest, right arm and ignored a few of its magical resistance and the hidden divine-class armor he wore. Behind his first target, the person behind was also shot, he lost both legs and was sent crashing into the ground.
Terroriser put away his shotgun and drew out an axe. He landed right on top of the bleeding man, followed by burying the axe into the back of his head, nearly splitting it open.
Everything happened for just a couple of seconds, and the woman with blood red eyes could only watch as her subordinates were slaughtered like helpless pigs.
"Hehehehe~ Hihihi, hahaha!"
Lois, who had lost her reasoning after seeing Terroriser slaughtered all of her subordinates who she considered friends, declared and unleashed an attack on him, but Terroriser simply teleported while holding the attack.
Tuk! Tuk! Boom Boom!
As if it was a signal, thousands of attacks were launched on him.
"Ohhh shit!" Terroriser dodged or tanked all the attacks and counterattacked. But this time, a shield manifested and blocked his attacks.
All of a sudden, his sixth sense kept ringing telling him that he was in extreme danger. Terroriser quickly scanned his surroundings, except for that woman, a peak <A+> Rank, the others were nothing exceptional.
But still, he knew that something bad was about to happen, so he tried to escape. However, it was already too late.
Lois, with a crazed smile, plunged her own nails in her chest and grasped her heart.
"Commander?"
Those standing next to her were shocked by her sudden action, and they questioned her. However, all they received were a crazed smile, a smile full of madness followed by words that forever sealed their fate.
Ba-dump! Ba-dump! Ba---------dump!
"[Ultimate Forbidden Blood Art: Blood Polis, City of Blood!]"
KABOOOOOM!
A terrific explosion occurred, blood exploded and engulfed both Terroriser, and the thousand remaining people in the room, then something horrible soon followed.
"HIAHHHHHH! STOP, IT HURTS!"
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
"PLEASE STOP IIIIIIT!"
Numerous cries could be heard, followed by people rolling on the ground in complete agony as a considerable amount of blood escaped from their bodies to form an enormous blood dome. Those people that screamed have their bodies rapidly shrinking.
Anyone who sees this will freeze, facing this abnormal situation.
As the name suggested, the technique used by Lois: [Blood Polis: City of Blood]. It's the power to steal the essence of the living and strengthen oneself and the area around them.
This is a greater power of a Witch.
From the center of the blood dome, a terrific roar echoed.
"ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!"
It was a roar that shook heaven and earth, anyone's ears would have instantly burst from the intense sound.
BAM!
Standing on the area once the dome dissipated, a beast so huge that a blue whale was like a dog compared to it.
BANG!
But upon the beast had appeared after Lois turned into it, it soon noticed a crimson bullet tore through the air. As time seemed to have stopped, the blood beast wanted to destroy the attack by shooting a large beam of light from its mouth. However, to its horror, the crimson bullet easily tore through the beam and arrived at its destination.
Upon its arrival, the crimson bullet pierced through numerous of its defenses before breaking apart the small blood-red crystal.
"!!!!!"
The monster wailed when Blood Polis was destroyed. Usually, this body should have been immune to physical attack meaning Terroriser's bullets shouldn't have worked on her. However, on the contrary, it worked, her supply of Life essence destroyed as the monster started thrashing. Terroriser approached her to deliver the final blow. However, it was a terrible mistake.
In complete rage, the dying monster turned into a red mist that restrained Terroriser's movement.
"What?"
He couldn't move, all of his weapons were tightly bound against him, then an intense bloodlust was let loose on him. It was then from the red mist sharp fangs manifested and crept closer to Terroriser's neck, its goal was obvious to suck away every blood and life essence from his body to avenge her fallen comrades.
"You do know I don't have any blood?" Terroriser calmly stated.
[SHUT UP! I WILL KILL YOU FOR ALL THE PEOPLE I HAVE LOST, YOU LITTLE...]
It was then her eyes caught a glimpse of the dark orb vibrating violently, that sign caused Lois' eyes widened in a panic.

"What?" Terroriser asked as he stopped his action and looked at the beast in confusion.
[We were planning to leave immediately, but thanks to you, we are all gonna die by that thing once that thing explodes!]

Back in the arena, Mu Quan was extremely fast, so fast that he could appear in any place on the arena in just an instant. His battle style was based on speed, precision, and aggression like a beast.
Every second, he appeared in a different place, using his God-slaying Sword to try to slash Vanoss' body. Unfortunately for him, Vanoss was already used to facing people with extreme speed. In fact, just a few days ago, Isabella was pissed off at him for some reason and ended up fighting each other and Vanoss was still able to hold her off for long. Do note that Isabella is considered the fastest student in the city, just slightly faster than Mu Quan himself.
Compared to her, Mu Quan was noticeably a bit slower, and Vanoss could follow his movements thanks to his left eye, the same eye that got slash by some Brazilian samurai that has been highly modified by Terroriser.
But still, the most problematic thing facing Mu Quan is his experience and skills of fighting. To Vanoss, it was as if he was fighting a thousand year old wise man. If not for having the technology similar to that Cyberpunk game but a hundred times more advanced thanks to his cybernetic irish friend, Vanoss wouldn't even last long for ten seconds.
As the fighting continued, Mu Quan soon frowned. Although he still had the initiative of the battle, the fact that none of his attacks had landed was bothering him.
'I should move faster.'
With that thought in her mind, Mu Quan disappeared again. This time, though, his speed was almost twice as fast as his previous attacks!
"[Beast of the Hunt!]"
"Ah shi-"
Widening his eyes, Vanoss couldn't move in time as Mu Quan just threw one punch at Vanoss, and yet it became thousands.
No matter how many times Vanoss saw it, he still couldn't avoid it no matter how fast he moved, he thought with how much he had trained he would be able to last a little longer in their next fight, however, the reality is harsh as he would definitely lose to this.
Oh wait, he does have something.
BOOOOOM!
The earth was completely obliterated behind Vanoss as dust rose in the sky and the damage in the area was on a grand scale.
When Mu Quan turns around as he thought he had won, his senses alarms him, he immediately turns back and sees a pair of yellow eyes looking at him calmly.
As the massive cloud of dust settled down, it was revealed that Vanoss was unharmed, while holding a massive shield made out of Minecraft bedrock at the size twice his height.
"...Hi, how are ya?" Vanoss smiled as he peeked from the shield's side.
Mu Quan's beast instincts warned him of the imminent danger, and he did not hesitate to obey them.
In the next instant, a slash cut the place where he was a moment ago, creating a massive slash mark in the process.
This made Mu Quan feel cold sweat on his back. That was close. But before he could sigh in relief, his body suddenly became heavy.
It turns out that above the arena, the orbital weapon that Vanoss placed used a gravity suppression device on him, the effects of the gravity were instantaneous, which increases the gravity inside the entire stadium a thousand times. Something that was very effective against opponents that specialized in speed. However, Mu Quan was a peak A-rank, so even though the gravity has increased to 1000%, Mu Quan's movements were only slowed down to almost 80% of his speed.
But that was enough for Vanoss to catch up, there was no way that he was going to miss that opportunity. By his thoughts, he commanded the wave of metallic sand to surge towards Mu Quan from all directions. At the same time, Vanoss kicked the ground, and faster than a speeding bullet, he rushed towards him, leaving a crater behind while swinging his sword downwards.
However, Vanoss made a mistake, because underestimated Mu Quan.
If Vanoss would have used all of his trump cards instead of rushing with his sword, he could have harmed Mu Quan right there, but because he thought it was unnecessary, he gave him an instant to react.
And that instant was enough for him. When it seemed that he would be unable to evade Vanoss' attacks, Mu Quan stomped the ground and his body was launched kilometers into the sky, and at the same time, several crimson spheres appeared all around his body.
Then, under Vanoss' astonished gaze, the crimson spheres flew towards him simultaneously.
Crimson spheres blossomed in the sky. Each of these spells could probably destroy an entire city district by themselves, and under Vanoss' astonished gaze, the Mu Quan hurls them towards him simultaneously in wild flurries. However, they looked kind of cute from a distance. Even so, that was an exchange of power within a realm that mankind could never reach.
With his expression turned grave, Vanoss did not dare to receive these spheres head-on, he had the feeling that he had been targeted by the North Koreans, and dozens of them might even be enough to injure him heavily or die from it.
Thus, he was forced to use the Bedrock shield above him.
BOOOM! BOOOOM! BOOM!
Like multiple nukes detonated simultaneously, everything around Vanoss has turned into a complete wasteland as multiple mushroom clouds can be seen around the arena.
And that's everything to give Mu Quan enough time to escape from the effects of the Suppressive Gravity Field's area of effect.
With just a movement, he had escaped from that dangerous situation. Groaning in irritation, Vanoss placed the bedrock shield which seemed untouch after the explosion, into his inventory and jumped away to distance himself from him.
"He fuckin' nuke me!? Since when was he a mage!? That was not in the information I got about him!" Vanoss muttered to himself in confusion.
"Well, few people also question the same thing." Mu Quan smirked when he heard that. "They are not really trump cards, you see. Now that I taught you my trump card, I'll start to fight seriously, okay?"
As soon as his words finished, Mu Quan disappeared again and a huge explosion erupted in the area he left behind. But this time, instead of appearing near Vanoss, only a flying kunai came flying towards him.
Calmly on extending his prosthetic to stop it, but to his surprise, the strength behind the kunai was enough to pierce through his metallic arm.
Fortunately, his prosthetic arm has the technology of absorbing the mana, so the kunai lost most of its strength just after going through several inches. Yanking it off from his arm, Vanoss threw it to the ground, but even so, he could not help but turn his expression serious after experiencing its power.
Mu Quan did not give Vanoss time to think. An instant after throwing the first kuani, several more of them came flying towards him like beams of lasers as every one of the kunais was packed with enough power to break through the defenses of an average A-Rank easily.
Kunai after kunais flew towards Vanoss one after another, forcing him to block or avoid them. However, Vanoss knew that the situation could not continue like this. Right now, Mu Quan was attacking freely without fear of being attacked. At this rate, he would overwhelm him sooner or later. Fortunately, Vanoss possessed his own means of long-distance attack.
With a thought, the floating eye on the sky
was activated. Then, it aimed to the ground and fired!
BRRRRRRRT!
Thousands of Subway Sandwiches were shot one after another at great speed. Moreover, the lethal sandwiches were shot all over the arena, only avoiding Vanoss's location. This way, Mu Quan would find it hard to avoid them completely.
Of course, Vanoss knew that even tens of thousands of delicious weapons of destruction were not enough to defeat Mu Quan, but at the very least, it helped him to limit his movements. Then, he charged once more and activated another Gravity attack the second time, freezing Mu Quan's movements briefly. However, he had already experienced this before, so this time he managed to free himself from it even faster than last time.
But when he freed himself from it, Vanoss' sword was already about to pierce his chest.
Mu Quan reacted quickly, throwing another kunai towards Vanoss' neck at breaknecking speed, but Vanoss easily avoided it without stopping his attack. Similarly, Mu Quan twisted his body aside to avoid the sword as he grabbed the Sun and Moon Goddess short swords with each hand and attacked him.
In the next instant, a fierce exchange of attacks occurred between the fastest opponents at storm-like movements, so fast that even a normal A-rank couldn't see it with their naked eyes.
Both of them moved in a complete blur to avoid the attack of the other while trying to land their own attacks. But when it seemed that both of them were evenly matched, Mu Quan's expression changed. Because Vanoss had managed to land his prosthetic arm at his abdomen.
BOOOM!
"Gah!" He vomited a mouthful of blood and was blown away from a massive explosion, as if a nuke struck directly at him. Meanwhile, Vanoss calmly retracted his glowing fist that settled down its power as he had used to land a hit on her abdomen.
"Give up," Vanoss said. "My next hit would be strong like a bitch, maybe like three Tzar Bombas on your stomach."
Mu Quan wiped off the blood on his lips and smiled wryly.
"It looks like you are proficient with other martial arts besides using weapons. You got my liking."
"I seldom use them. Few people are able to force me that far."
"Is it so?" Mu Quan heaved a small sigh. "Such a shame, I would have liked to fight you for a bit longer. There is a lot that I have not shown you yet."
Vanoss frowned. For some reason, he got a
bad feeling. Then, he saw Mu Quan's lips curve upwards.
"Unfortunately, it's already time." As soon as his words finished, an explosion shook the entire city.

On the roof of a certain building, a figure in a black coat was looking towards the explosions happening all over Academy City.
"So it finally started, huh." The figure murmured, her voice revealing her identity as a woman.
Nobody could see below the coat, but strangely, countless things seemed to be squirming below it, like monsters waiting to be released.
The woman, however, did not seem bothered by that. She looked at the city calmly before finally taking out a strange-looking hilt of a sword.
"Now, let me see where you rats are hiding." She spoke calmly, but strangely, the space around her distorted. Killing intent. A killing intent so heavy and intense that it seemed to twist reality around her.
Wrapped in killing intent, the woman took a step forward as her hood moved slightly back due to the wind, revealing a pair of emerald-green eyes.
After another step forward, her figure vanished. And a few seconds later, screams of agony resounded through the city.

At the rooftop of the Great Library, Regina, Headmistress of Academy City, was looking towards the explosions with an enraged expression.
"These bastards!"
"Calm down, Headmistress" Wave, who was hovering beside her, spoke up calmly. "We were already expecting this. Even if you are angry, you must remain calm. Only that way can we kill the people behind this."
"I know. Lend me a hand, Wave. I don't want any of them to survive today."

"Wait, are you related to this Bin Laden attack?"
"What do you mean?" Mu Quan raised a brow.
"Ah, nevermind that, you might forget someone."
As soon as his words finished, Mu Quan's expression changed. All of a sudden, he felt a powerful pressure and killing intent locked on him. It was a killing intent so strong that his entire body turned cold. He felt as though he was seeing death eye to eye.
Moreover, it was so close that he could do nothing but watch how death approached him.
Out of nowhere, a massive hand composed of magical energy of Han Yufei arbitrates the battle.
Watching the hand of the demigod reaching towards his neck, Mu Quan's eyes opened wide in disbelief, but it showed only disbelief, nothing more. There was no trace of the fear and despair that someone facing death should feel.
And soon, Han Yufei understood the reason. Before his hand could reach Mu Quan, over two hundred people suddenly jumped from Mu Quan's shadow and attacked the demigod.
"Shit, hey teach, Vanoss will come to save yo-"
Grinning sinisterly, Mu Quan took a step forward to block Vanoss' path.
"Okay, besides committing a terrorist act, why are you here anyway?"

They have many ways to find you, no matter how you hide. Unfortunately, we could not attack you easily due to the demigods guarding you and your friends. Plus, the demigods of Academy City would move if we tried something funny. Today is different, though. Right now, Academy City is too busy to send reinforcements, and with the demigods protecting busy fighting our official members. This is the best opportunity to take you, and destroy Academy City."
"I'm kinda confused, why destroy the city? Is there any good reason to come here instead of coming to destroy for no reason?"

Simultaneously, every single A-ranks unleash all of their trump cards at the serpent, but if its nuclear or reality warping level attacks, the serpent simply shrugs it off and begins its massacre.
Back to the fight scene between Vanoss and Mu Quan, the battle continued like that for a while, with both of them using short and long-range attacks to attack the other, but just when it seemed that the stalemate would continue for a while, Mu Quan's movements abruptly changed.

With a sadistic smile on his face, the ferocious beast in human form held his [Imperial Zenshin] in a backhanded grab and used it to cut towards Vanoss' nape. But when he was about to slice his throat, he saw Vanoss' yellow eyes shining brightly inside the dust.
"Gotcha bitch," Vanoss grinned sadistically.

What came after the clicking sound was the blade of his sword elongated to hundred meter long before cutting the world into two at a white flash.

Just as the blade was about to make contact on Mu Quan's abdomen, the sword phased through his body. Even though Vanoss' sword has magic that could even slain ghosts, spirits, and non-physical beings, something that went past Mu Quan without harming him caught Vanoss by surprise.
All because Mu Quan used a special skill, a unique skill that ignores any abilities that take effect on him, the same one that made him win against Nogla back at the first matches.
Soon after, a blade that was brighter than the sun itself came out of a small space-tearing rift from his side before it came slashing down to Vanoss like a ray of light.
It's Mu Quan's most powerful sword, more powerful than his Imperial Zenshin as it easily shatters Vanoss' sword and still heads towards him.
"Fuck!"
For the first time, Vanoss felt fear. And so, with all his might, he hurriedly brought out his giant Bedrock shield in front of the sword to block. However, to Vanoss' shock, the sword easily shatters the shield and launches Vanoss miles back.
"Damn it." Vanoss cursed out loud as he quickly ate numerous stakes, healing potions, and healing syringes.
"You are more troublesome than I thought you were. I think I have no choice but to use my Genesis-class weapon." Mu Quan muttered as he used the sword's power, causing his body to gleam like a star.
Taking a deep breath, Mu Quan closed his eyes for a brief moment. When he opened them again, his bright blue eyes shone with a sharp glint, and his aura changed completely.
"Let me show you the power of the Akashic Records."
Raising his sword into the air, Mu Quan quietly muttered.
"[Nemesis Domain]"
Upon those words appeared, Mu Quan's hair elongated, blazing in silver light as his two eyes seemed to glow like a pair of stars. Time has stopped, everything seemed to have been erased, and everyone from Vanoss, Mu Quan's men, including Han Yufei and the World Serpent froze, unable to move in the Suspension World for a brief moment.
