It'd been about a month now since Kazuji had fallen; life had turned drastically for Japan. When word had gotten to every village and town in the country, everyone seemed to exhale a breath that they'd been holding for what seemed like an eternity. It was over, peace could be restored.

The people were hesitant at first with you. They weren't sure whether or not you'd be the same as Kazuji, better yet your father; however, you'd proved them all wrong. And they were quite glad they were wrong.

You made sure that people were paid properly for a hard days work. They could spend time with their families more and could eat meals everyday, like how it used to be. The villages had come back to life. Your kingdom was the heart beat of Japan again, and you and the others had started it up again, bringing peace and joy to every part of the country.

Only was it back to the way it was, but it was better than it'd ever hoped to be for the people. The economy was better, lives were happier, people treated equally not matter if they had a coin or not, they were all treated the same, as all humans should.

Your people had also learned of the demon slayer corps. Learned of how far back they'd been protecting people day after day; laying down their lives to protect humanity. And how indebted they are to every single one of them. The Butterfly Mansion had become a hospital for the sick and injured. And a mark in history that'd been discovered to be remembered for generations to come.

It did take time for people to come around into accepting that Tanjiro was no longer a demon, that also included Sanemi, and the red head could understand. He just wished that he'd done something about Genya back then, as well as all the others. It'd be a scar on his soul for the rest of his life.

"That goes over there." A female voice echoed through the field of cherry blossom trees. "It's gotta look right and perfect. Don't want a hero of Japan on her big day to see unfinished business."

The bright and cheerful woman, turned to find her brother nearing her and smiling warmly her way. Wearing his uniform and usual, checkered haori.

"Need some help, Nezuko?" He asked his youngest sister.

"I think it's good for now, Oni-Chan. Zenitsu is setting up chairs and Inosuke is helping with other things." She replied. She looked back and forth for a moment then whispered in his ear. "Although I think he's eating in the kitchen."

The both of them snorted. Imagining stealing some red bean buns from the kitchen and one of the cookers yelling at him.

Nezuko sighed. "I feel like it was just yesterday. She's come so far."

"She has, and I'm so very proud of her." Tanjiro smiled to himself. Glancing up at the alter up front with the crest of your kingdom etched in gold at the front. You'd come so far, suffered so much pain and loss, but you pulled through, you deserved to be happy.

"Her coronation is probably gonna be the best one ever." Nezuko hummed.

"What does the royal family usually do?" He asked.

"Well, from what I've read in books, they would be crowned in front of the priest that is witness to that. Mostly just nobles and close friends and family of the royals attend." She explained as everything was beginning to be situated for your coronation. "After that, there is a procession held afterwards where she meets with her people along the streets and into her palace. Although, Y/n has something different planned."

Tanjiro raised a brow; wondering what exactly it was you could be planning. "What is that?"

"Normally for the procession, it'd be only high class nobles and the rest of the royal family who'd walk with her, but instead, she says otherwise." She started.

He watched his younger sister grinning. "She's decided that she wants to walk with all her people. Not just the nobles, but everyone. And that's where the festival will begin."

(Start music)

The music had begun and everyone had taken their seats. The coronation was in a beauty place. A great big meadow on the other side a ways away from the closest town near the palace, cherry blossoms in full bloom as the petals began to fall.

Tanjiro with his sister in the very front along with the other demon slayers. The old priest at the front held a kind smile in a white kimono with fine embroidery all along the fabric.

(0:47)

Tanjrio heard everyone turn their heads to see you were standing there in the back, gasps erupted from the crowd. He turned his own head, curious about what the gasps were, until his eyes laid upon your figure.

His eyes widened at the sight. He felt his heart racing and temperature pick up quite a bit. There you were, looking powerful as ever, the warmest grin etched upon your delicate face with the suns rays gentle beating down on your (s/t) skin. You were absolutely beautiful to him.

(Your coronation dress. Hope you like!)

The dress was a fabulous color of crimson red. Vines and cherry blossom branches sewn along the skirt and then the sheer over skirt had them sewn along too. Sleeves of red and then an over sleeve of sheer white with the cherry blossoms sewn over that too. It was a simple looking dress, but at the same time, it looked fit for the richest person in all the world.

And that smile on your face, you looked so happy and peaceful. How much he wanted to hold you right now. The breeze of the afternoon day whipped by and seemed to be a little more forthcoming and blew your dress along, making you look like a goddess that'd descended from the heavens themselves.

You stopped at the alter and grinned at the priest. He did the same kind gesture and bowed down to you. "You've come a long way, Y/n." He said. "And we are all very proud of you."

"Thank you." You whispered, bowing your head in respect towards him. He was the same one who'd crowned your father back then. You'd seen him once, and he looked like he hadn't changed a bit. A humble man he was, and happier than ever once you'd restored Japan to its former glory, and even making it a better place to live.

The priest, Rokuro, grabbed hold on the newly fashioned crown of gold, covered in rubies and garnets. Some fashioned delicately into the shapes of cherry blossoms. It was truly a work of art.

(Hope you like the crown too!)

Rokuro held up the crown lightly for all to behold it's beauty.

"King of Kings, Lord of Lords, uphold your blessing upon whom which thou receives this crown. And upon this day, sanctify your child to rule this country in peace." He said. "That she may be crowned in gracious favor and filled with abundant grace and loved by all thy people. Bless this child, so that she may rule us all in peace, and not be subjected to sin."

It was silent. You then kneeled to the ground as the wind carried your dress delicately. Tanjiro and the others watched in awe, to be in the presence of such royalty. They'd only be able to dream of something like this. The Kamado siblings had never thought that'd they'd see something such as this, but they knew deep down, that they're own family was watching along with them, and smiling with pride.

Rokuro trudged over with the delicate crown and stood in front of you. He couldn't help but smile, everyone in the crowd did. They knew who you were and what your intentions were. The fight, you'd risked you very life for your people, and they're views towards you had changed and the people had great hopes for you.

"The people are so thankful for you, Y/n." He set the golden crown upon your head. "Thank you, for all that you have done for us."

He leaned back as the crown was set upon your head; looking out to see everyone else.

"God save the Queen."

(1:37)

A heavenly breeze then swept over you and carried your dress along with you (h/l) (h/c) locks as you lifted yourself up to stand up straight—looking tall and mighty.

Everyone in the crowd stood upwards. Watching as that very gust of wind swept thousands of cherry blossom petals from the trees and floating down.

"Hail to the queen." Tanjiro shouted for all to hear. You heard and turned your head in surprise to stare his way, and that grin on his face made your heart melt.

"Hail to the Queen!" The rest of the demon slayers yelled. And soon, the nobles and guards unsheathed their swords and began to chant along with everyone else the same four words.

You couldn't help but beam. They were chanting for you. You'd given them hope. Hope of a better today, and a better tomorrow.

You then walked down from the alter and stopped to where the demon slayers were. You judged your head to the side, grinning their way. "Come walk with me."

The people of the town closest to the kingdom had begun to crowd the streets as soon as the familiar flags of the Kingdom's crest had begun to walk through.

You were at the front and at your sides were the demon slayers with their swords unsheathed, pointed upwards at the sky.

The entire town cheered in your name. Cherry blossom petals swooped down and flooded the streets. Men, women, and children all come together to celebrate. It brought you great joy.

"Come everyone." You called out to them. "Let us join together in my abode and we shall feast in celebration of all of us."

(2:36)

They were almost taken aback, but continued to cheer. There were two children, a boy and a girl who'd run up to you and stared in awe. You stopped as the kids had their jaws dropped.

You grinned and knelt down to their level. "What are your names?"

The little boy gulped lightly. "My name is Osamu." Then gestured to the little girl. "And my twin sister, Naoko."

"What lovely names." You held both of your palms outwards. "Would you both like to walk with me?"

They looked over behind, looking to their mother for permission. She waved for them with a great smile on her face for them to go with you. You beamed her way and nodded.

"Come, I've got a surprise for all of you." You said to them both.

(2:55)

You took their hands. Osamu on your left, and Naoko on your right. You continued to walk down to your palace along with the demon slayers and your people.

Naoko moved her head over and stared at Tanjiro in bewilderment. He turned his gaze down to her and smiled.

"Hi." He said in a gleeful tone.

"Is that a real sword?" She asked in excitement. He nodded her way.

"That's so cool! You all look so cool!" She beamed. "And you fought demons too?"

Tanjiro nodded once more. "Yep, me and my sister, as well as the others."

The little girl grinned his way a couple more steps and latched onto the sleeve of his haori. "Thank you."

He nearly stopped walking. That sentence made his heart seem to stop. He stared with wide eyes and watched as the girl giggled warmly and continued to walk along with you.

Just hearing that gratitude for that girl was enough to almost make his shed a tear. All that the demon slayer corps has done, there were people who knew and were thankful for it. He assumed that these people also knew he was a demon, he had his red hair—which was easy to pinpoint exactly who he was; along with the scar upon his forehead.

For her to look past him being a demon before and simply thank him for what he's done, it made him feel whole.

The crowd cheered and roared for you, children ran around the town, happy and content. People chanting your name as the suns rays cast light upon this very day. It warmed everyone's hearts, knowing that there was to be peace for as long as you'd lived.

"HAIL TO THE QUEEN!"

From the day forth, you would protect them and everyone you cared for. It wasn't just about you, but about the people too. And not only did they chant for you, but the demon slayers as well.

"HAIL TO THE QUEEN!"

The entire palace was busting with life. A life you'd never seen before, it was cast into everyone who'd come. There was music, laughing, smiles, and hopeful hearts.

It smelled of Japanese cuisine and desserts. The people here could only imagine what these foods tasted like, and you were more than happy to share it with them. This was a day to celebrate them and everyone.

You walked along through the throne room filled with people and long tables of desserts. Kanao, Aoi, and Nezuko were talking and trying new desserts they'd never had before. They'd never seen such a variety of sweet treats.

Nezuko grabbed an imagawayaki pastry and tried the spongy cake inside. It took her a moment but then her eyes lit up like a child getting ice cream for the first time. The others giggled at her pure, childish gesture.

Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the other guys were over trying different wines. Zenitsu and Inosuke leaning on each other, Giyuu was talking to a curious man who'd asked about what being a demon slayer was like. Sanemi was doing the same thing, but with a whole group of children. He made a large gesture and the kids gasped, staring in awe at his stories, you giggled at that.

A pair of all too familiar hands came from behind and covered your eyes. You gasped slightly and smiled.

"Guess who." He spoke against your ear. You knew his voice from anywhere.

You smiled. "Someone I know. Burgundy hair, gorgeous garnet eyes. And the sweetest smile."

You turned and found just the person of whom you described, and you were right. His face turned red at your comment. You giggled his way and rested your hand on his shoulder.

"Come with me?" You nudged your head in the direction of the outside. He nodded and followed you to wherever you wanted to go.

You and him made your way to the small clearing where you'd first met one another. The willow tree was still there looking as beautiful as ever. It was just as how you'd both left it.

This time the sun was setting and casting shadows and glows along each individual blade of grass. This place looked even more beautiful than it ever had before. It was truly a gorgeous sight to see.

You walked up as your dress swayed with the wind. You sat yourself under the tree and smiled his way. "Remember when we first met here?"

He smiled and walked forward. "It was the moment my life had changed forever. When the most beautiful person came into my life, and looked past me being a demon."

He sat next you, shoulder to shoulder, staring into one another eyes. You moved forward and went to sit on his lap—as he invited you to. "I could hear your singing, and I was so intrigued. And then," his hand moved up to brush a loose strand behind your ear. "I laid my eyes on the most beautiful person in the world."

His hand wondered down from your ear and along your jawline. Tracing every part of your face like an artwork created by God. You were, and he was so blessed to have you as his.

Your faces inching closer and closer to one another. Until your lips took over and ran along his own. His heart rate increased drastically as well as your own, faces heating up like the sun. Your lips were soft like silk on his own, how was he so lucky to have you as his own? To be with him? As a younger teenager, he would've only dreamed about that or read them from story books. This was real, and he was so thankful for it.

Your lips moving so earnestly with his own, your hands reaching up caress his face. He drew away for a second to catch his breath and then went down to go along your cheek and down to your jawline. His hand ran down from your chest down along your waist, your heart melted under his touch.

"I love you so much, Tanjiro." You whispered down to him as he gave you gentle kisses along your neck. He smiled between each kiss gifted to you.

Your own hand ran down along his uniform at the front, feeing his abs through the fabric, making your cheeks grow hotter than before. You could feel him smile between each kiss, and each one grew more and more passionate from the first.

You raised a brow. "Greedy, are you?"

He chuckled and pulled his face back to look up your delicate features. "You have no idea." He said back in a husky tone of voice.

"Oh?" You giggled and kissed him again upon his lips. "Well, Tanjiro Kamado, I am all~ yours. And no one can tell us otherwise."

He chuckled and kissed you once more, taking your breath away. You pulled back and rested your forehead against his own. Taking his hand and kissing it gently. "You are mine, and I'm yours."

He smiled and rested his head against your neck. He pulled you close around your waist, you rested your hand in his hair and stroked through his silky locks of burgundy.

"Can I hear you sing to me?" He asked.

You raised a brow. "O-Oh, really?"

He hummed back.

You leaned back and sighed. "I know another one. I've only sang it at the convent."

He sat there and waited for start your heavenly tunes.

"Sing me a song of a lass that is gone,
Say, could that lass be I?"

You notes were on point, no failure in your tone. He was blown away already. You sounded like a goddess. He rubbed his thumb against your back.

"Merry of souls she sailed on a day,
Over the sea to Skye,"

"Billow and breeze, islands and seas,
Mountains of rain and sun,
All that was good, all that was fair
All that was me, is gone~"

A smile crossed upon your lips, remembering your time there during your youth. They were happy times.

"Sing me a song of a lass that is gone,
Say could that lass be I?
Merry of soul she sailed on a day
Over the sea to Skye~"

He smiled and moved his head to look back into your shining (e/c) orbs. Lifting his hand up to caress your cheek gently. "You have such an angelic voice, Y/n."

Your cheeks turned red. "Thank you."

He chuckled once more and kissed your lips. "You're so beautiful and sweet." He whispered. "I love you..."

You beamed his way and went back to kissing him once again. He could imagine life without you, nor could you. He was yours, and you were his, nothing could stop your love for one another. No matter what.
