Lan had gotten into a fight with Tonowari eldest son and his friend and Jake had told her to go make amends with the boys even due they were the ones bullying her first, but maybe she thought she will help her make friends with them.

Lani soon opened her eyes and started breathing once again she soon noticed she was laying on something she soon got onto her knees to hear air being blown, she soon noticed she was on something and that something was a creature.
Lani " wow" lani soon moved off the creature back and soon noticed she dove into the water and saw she was on tulkun she had mad eye contact with the creature, soon she was on the fin as the creature went up to the surface.

Lani had went out to go see Payakan again after hearing the story from the Metkayina teens and getting made fun of wby there whole group of believing Payakan was good, she need to hear the truth from Payakan himself before she picked her side.

Memories of lani and been show as they were running past as she of all the moment son her having a hard time while growing up, until the other memories they seems to be very different as everyone was looking at lani.
