Next Morning
Khushi opened her eyes as she felt some weight on her chest. Looking down she smiled at the cute scene in front of her. Because here on top of her Arnav is asleep keeping his head on her chest and having circled his left hand on her belly not pressing it. She suppressed her laugh seeing her open mouth and messed up hairs making him look like a baby. Unable to control herself she put her hand in his hair, caressing it softly making him sigh in contempt and hold her tight burying his head on her neck. She still can't believe that the man whose arrogance annoyed her so much is her husband today and Arnav, who did not even want to see her face, today doesn't even eat food without her. Fate has played strange games with both of them.
taking a deep breath Khushi comfortably made Arnav lie down, she took a bath and then she started preparing breakfast for everyone in the kitchen, especially Arnav's favorite dish which he only likes made by her.
Arnav's Room
Khushi came into the room with Arnav's breakfast and full plate of jalebi as she has not eaten Jalebi for many days, so today she felt like eating her favorite Jalebi But as soon as she entered, she saw Arnav, who was sleeping peacefully like a baby, khushi smiled at the sight.
Keeping the plates aside she came close to Arnav and shook his shoulder to wake him up.
Khushi : Arnav, wake up .. it's morning now ..
Arnav : let me sleep na ... khushi ( he said in a sleepy tone )
Khushi : No, it's not a good thing to sleep so long, get up now Arnav.
Arnav pressed a pillow over his head to suppress her voice, khushi shook her head seeing his antics and snatched the pillow from his face.
Khushi : enough now Arnav, get up ..
" No " said Arnav while trying to grab the pillow, in the process he held her hand and instead of the pillow, he pulled her close to him. Due to a sudden pull, Khushi fell on Arnav and her lips landed on his.
Time Froze
Khushi's mind went blank feeling Arnav lips on her, she clutched his T-shirt tightly as she could hear her heart beating faster while Arnav too instantly opened his eyes, He was also feeling something inside himself which was beyond his understanding now but he felt good to have Khushi so close to him.
As soon as khushi gained her senses back, she removed her lips from his and stood up, looking everywhere but at Arnav.
Arnav : Is this the new way to kiss ?? (Khushi's eyes got wide) i like it khushi, can you do it again ??
Khushi : it's not kiss Arnav, I just by mistake fell on you .. ( she said gulping )
Arnav : Whatever it is, I want the same kiss, that too now ( he demands stubbornly )
Khushi sighed, now makes him understand it is going to be difficult as she knows how stubborn and demanding he became when it came to her but she can't fulfill this demand, she has to convince arnav.
Khushi : we will talk about this later, you first go and freshen up. You have to have breakfast and medicine also, hurry up .. ( she tries to divert his attention from the kiss topic )
Arnav (pout) : again medicine??
" Arnav please " she gave a pleading look at him. first Arnav pout but obey her, he got up and went to the bathroom.
Khushi huffed as Day by day it is becoming difficult for her to handle Arnav. To reduce the nervousness, she picked up a jalebi and started eating it. just then Arnav comes out of the bathroom and gets confused seeing Khushi eating jalebi as he has never seen jalebi before.
Arnav : Khushi what is it ?? Why are you eating this round, round thing ??
Khushi smiled at him and made him sat on the bed. She picked up the plate and sitting next to him, she started feeding him breakfast.
Khushi : it's called jalebi, Arnav. Like you liked milkshake right? ( Arnav nodded while chewing morsel ) just like that I like jalebi ..
Arnav : But like you said, I'm your husband right? then you should like me. how can you like this stupid jalebi. Leave it .. ( He looks irritated and a slight anger was clearly visible in his tone )
Khushi became more confused about this, She already knew that Arnav was short tempered but his getting annoyed on things which are around her or she likes something, is very strange. It is not that Arnav has a problem with everything she eats, but when she says that she likes something, Arnav gets angry at that thing. Why ?? .. This possessiveness of his is going beyond her understanding.
Khushi took a deep breath and said : arnav everyone has their own likes, like you like milkshake. can you leave having your milkshake ?? No right. Then how can I leave my jalebi .. ( she lovingly explains to him )
By now she has fed him all the breakfast, she cleans his mouth with tissue paper. Arnav was just looking at her, as Khushi got up and about to leave He quickly grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him. Khushi could not maintain her balance and fell straight into his lap. he circled her waist by his left and cupped her face with another hand. Khushi is surprised by this move, her heart was thudding but it skip a beat when she heard hai words.
Arnav : I can leave anything for you .. ( he said looking straight into her eyes )
Shiver runs down her spine as The intensity of his voice makes her heart forget to beat for once. there is no childish tone in his voice. is he coming back to his original form ?? This thought made her breathless whereas Arnav snuggled into her neck, holding her waist tightly.
Khushi Composed her self and said : You don't want to go to Nahne for your new game?? See whether he has brought it or not.
Arnav : No, I don't want to go anywhere. I just want to be with you .. ( he pulls her closer to him )
Khushi (stammering) : Arn..av, you should go what if he starts playing alone and doesn't let you play ??
Arnav's eyes got wide " you are right khushi, i should get my game from that monkey " saying this Arnav left khushi and ran out of the room.
Khushi put her hand on her beating heart that still echoed in her ears, She understood the change in Arnav, but what difference does it make to her, why does Arnav's coming near her make her heart uncontrollable. Why ?? Her breath is fast remembering those moments when Arnav was so close to her. She closed her eyes to get a grip over herself.
Khushi's phone ring made her open her eyes, she saw Aman's name flashing on the phone. She quickly answered.
Khushi : yes, Aman ...
" Bhabhi, There is a file in Arnav's cupboard that I need now, I forgot in my hurry. can you please find it for me ?? " Said Aman driving his car.
Khushi: Which file Aman?? ( She asked, went toward the cupboard )
Aman : Malhotra FS 080 file in black colour, I am just on my way.
Khushi : don't worry, you will get the file as soon as you reach RM.
Aman (smiled) : thanks Bhabhi.
Disconnecting the call, Khushi opened the cupboard. She saw a few files being arranged at the top rack. She pulled all the files down and searched for the Malhotra FS 080 file. She found it. She removed the file from the bunch and When she kept the remaining files back, a file fell down on the floor. Khushi took the file and about to put it back in the rack when her eyes caught something on the file, she hurriedly opened it and she shocked to the core reading " Arnav Singh Raizada's Medical Report 2020, Mumbai ".
