The Omaticaya Clan was seeking help against the sky People and had went to the Metkayina for help everyone knew that Tonowari and ronal were very strict males, and if someone need help they need to get both of their approvals. So it was not a lie if the whole Omaticaya Clan was not on edge going to the reef clan and asking for help, from the Metkayina because if they couldn't get approval from ronal then all their hopes were lost.
