The order from the zombie king had been shared with every zombie by the zombie queen in their minds. Zombies are undead types who gain intelligence only by reaching a higher level.
With the single command from the zombie king: 'Attack all at the same time!'
Every zombie in the vicinity, regardless of their levels, had followed the command. Like a huge wave made of zombies, the Ximen Mountain was besieged from all sides. With zombie generals in the lead, the zombies advanced towards the center.
The zombie king, Ye Yan, was looking at the whole scene from a bird's eye view perspective. A view from a high angle as if seen by a bird in flight. The system's authority allowed him to watch the events live and at this angle.
With his head leaning on his palm, Ye Yan observed the scene unconcerned. Though he didn't expect the target to get killed in this siege, at least he anticipates the latter's escape through the means of the system's items. He continues to watch until an unforeseen situation unfolds before him. Numerous mutated animals in their bulky form had spread out in herds halting the siege of the zombies.
The waves of zombies were stopped at a certain distance from the center of the mountain. From outside the mountain, they could hear the loud sound of a huge beast roaring. The thunderous roar of the beast echoes within the whole mountain. They Ye Yan and Hei Suya suddenly felt an indubitable coldness on their skin coming from the mountain itself.
[Master! Sky to the fly. Humongous energy surge of ice is spreading!!!]
The prompt of warning rang in Ye Yan's head. His body moves instinctively and uses his wind element to fly towards the sky with Hei Suya. In a mere one minute, except for the center point of the mountain where the town is located, it had been all covered in ice. The whole Z District no... the whole country had been frozen. A genuine world of ice had descended on the land. The territories of land, the wide waterscapes, the ruined buildings and roads, every infrastructure in the world, the trees, the stones, even the blade of grass turned to ice.
All the zombies including the general leveled ones had instantly turned to an ice statue. Except for the mutated animals who defended the mountain and the living beings on the unfrozen land, almost everything had been covered in frost.
Ye Yan and Hei Suya's faces were painted with bewilderment. The scenery of ice and falling snow above their heads reminds them of that terror from their memories. There is no way that an original resident of this star could do such a heavenly defying scene. Even in the SSS world, they've come from those who could do such a thing can only be counted in one hand. Freezing a whole country, even the whole world, only two people like that exist and both of them possess the glacial bloodline whose affinity with Ice attribute is supreme.
One is the Ruler God of Life and Death, Mo Baojun and the other one is the greatest notoriety of all realms. The God of Destruction, Hei Anjing.
There is no way a ruler god would enter a lower-tier world which means that the one who turned the whole country into ice could only be that man. Comprehending this truth, the dread in their hearts had long filled up their whole body. The chills climbing up on their spines were like thorns piercing their skin, the trembling of their bodies was instinctive and chaotic trepidation within their souls almost shook their whole existence.
The God of Destruction is not an ordinary deity. He is a born god with a special bloodline. The disreputable rumors about him are all true. The cold-hearted god who loves cleanliness, blood, and excitement. No one could escape his grasp as long as he knew your existence. There are no choices and everything is decided by him. If he doesn't want you to die not even the king of hell would accept you and if he wanted you dead not even the gods could save you. An immortal god whose existence is equal to those evil demon gods in the abyss.
Ye Yan and Hei Suya's current state lacks calmness and there is only fear within their eyes. They wanted to escape but were unable to. Escaping means angering the black star of calamity. Now even this world prevents the departure of those inside the star. Even in death, the two could never leave.
Hei Suya hugs her boyfriend and her trembling affects even her speaking, "Y-Ye Y-Yan... What should w-we do?" she stuttered at almost every word.
The outside whose vessel is that of the zombie king didn't utter a word. His eyes keep wandering towards the entrance of the mountain. Concentrating at the pair of shadows walking unhurriedly downwards the mountain.
A cold tone of voice can be heard from the mountain. The voice is commanding plainly; it had the effect of an ability being used.
"Descend."
The couple who was floating using wind as a platform fell directly on the ice-covered earth. Ye Yan tried to cushion themselves with the wind before reaching the land only for a bolt of huge lightning from the sky directly come down on them.
THUNDERCLAP!
The zombie king and queen were instantly roasted by the lightning. They both fell helplessly on the ground.
"Bee. BEE! Use all points to redeem an item that will bring me out of this world directly!" he yelled but the usual sound from his system had been gone.
Thud!
Breaks~
A block of ice with the shape of a bee had directly fallen on his head to the ground, breaking into countless pieces. His precious system turned into fragments before his eyes.
A gut-wrenching scream of despair arose out of his mouth.
"NOO!!!" yelled Ye Yan as he kneeled on the ground grabbing the ice with the shattered body of System Bee.
The sounds of footsteps can be heard going closer towards their direction from the mountain. When the owners of those footsteps reveal themselves, the sunlight illuminates the two figures. One with pure white hair and the other with pitch-black hair. Both possess contrasting shades as if the light and dark embodied themselves as humans.
The two men possess figures which match each other. One is petite yet his figure is refined to perfection, the other had good proportions of a hunky male god. Appearances that could rival even the gods. Anyone who saw them can say that they match each other well.
A sly smirk appeared on the beautiful man with a petite build. His slender hands were held by the other man's hand but his hand was wrapped around the waist of the former. His gesture is clearly showing his possessiveness towards the other man.
"Baby~ are these two the destroyers? I thought there were three of them?" asked Cao Junye.
Xueya replies, "There are there, but I left the last one to Jue-ge. After all, that one seems to be under his responsibility."
"Someone from Hei Clan again?"
"Yes. The lady in front is from Hei as well but... the man is someone from your race. Do you wish to interrogate him?" asked Xueya. He is looking at his husband without any thoughts of stopping his man from knowing something from his memories. He had no intention of keeping him in the dark regardless of whatever their past holds.
Cao Junye isn't a fool. Despite his lost memories, he could vaguely think of things through especially about the recollection of the past events. The possibility of his wife being his enemy in the past had long been envisaged by him. He is not doubting his wife's feelings for him but he doesn't trust himself who had no full memories.
His wife is currently hinting at him for an opportunity to learn about their past. Something that Ximen Xueya would never tell him using his own mouth. If he was the one who caught the man who is in front of him right now, as long not in the presence of his wife, he would definitely question the man about the vague things that gave him a headache. But in front of his wife, he would never attempt such a thing.
Cao Junye responded, "No need. Just kill him if you want to, wife."
The couple converse as if there is no one around them. They've both intentionally ignored the existence of the two in front of them. They never cared about their enemies. Whether it is their feelings or face, nothing really matters when it comes to strangers and enemies.
Xueya suddenly pouted, "Um~ I gave you the opportunity. You are wasting it for no reason!"
Abruptly, Ximen Xueya pulled out both of his hands from the general clutches and prepared to return to the mountain on his own. Now that Xueya had frozen everything in the country, the zombies were all annihilated by him. He already achieved their son's wish and is no longer interested in the toys that suddenly dropped from the sky.
Besides he is giving his husband a second opportunity to know things about their past from that man from Ye. Since his husband wanted to know things about their past, he would let him learn things and let him decide for himself. Sooner or later, Ye Xiajie's memories would return. Letting his husband learn a few things about their past from another person's perspective wouldn't really change the end they would have and thus he decided to leave him there.
Ximen Xueya spoke. "Since I've completed our son's wish, there are no more things for me to do. I'm going back. You clean those two up. By the way, I suggest you keep that lady alive. Jue-ge would owe you one if you do." he was walking back to the mountain as his words continued to be spoken.
Cao Junye weakly complains, "Baby~ are you going to leave me here alone?"
"Yes. It's almost time for dinner. I need to cook." replied Xueya.
Walking away from the other three people behind him, Ximen Xueya had never looked back at them even once. Every decision he made could never be changed easily. Cao Junye watched the back figure of his wife until he disappeared from within the depths of the mountain.
Only when he could no longer see his wife's figure did he move his eyes towards the two outsiders who dared to target his wife. His eyes turned completely black and are now glinting with fury and cruelty.
Those pitch-black eyes looked down on the two-person of zombie race without any emotion on his captivating face. Darkness surrounds his whole being and the scene of demons ascending appeared in front of the two. There's also a crackling sound of thunder coming from above his right palm. The light violet streaks release the sounds of thunderclaps.
Cao Junye spoke, "I have no time to waste on you both." there is only coldness and indifference from his tone
Ximen Xueya who was marching on the unmanned roads of Ximen Mountain heard the sounds of lightning followed by screams from behind him. He paused for a moment and looked back for a second. There's a smile lingering at the corner of his mouth when he suddenly coughs a bit of blood dyeing his bloodless lips with scarlet color.
Coughs!
"Freezing a whole country causes me to cough a small mouthful of blood. A'Xia, you need to complete your soul soon. This lord is already running out of time." murmured Xueya who instantly froze the blood on his palm and the traces in the corner of his lips. It turned into a blood mist removing all traces. He resumes his walking as nothing happens at all.
Back at the foot of the mountain, Cao Junye had roasted the two destroyed into human figure charcoal. There's still a wisp of life on them as his wife suggested. Then he looked at a random empty space with impatience written all over his handsome face.
"God of Space. Come out and pick up the trash. I still need to spend more time with my wife and son!" said Cao Junye.
From the other's perspective, they would think that Cao Junye is talking in the empty air before him like a lunatic. But in a mere second, the space in front of him crack revealing a thin wrist and dark green colored sleeves. The hand made a grabbing motion and the two charcoaled beings floated towards the space crack. An annoyed yet gentle voice can be heard from the crack.
"You bastard! They are almost dead!" spoke the hidden Hei Jue from within the space crack.
Cao Junye rolled his eyes over the man and answered back, "There's still a pulse. They are deities and won't die from being electrified. Don't forget to threaten the heavenly will on your way out. Don't forget you owe me one!"
"Shut up! I know you damn brute!" The space crack shut closed after the last sentence was spoken.
As soon as Cao Junye was left alone, his face suddenly turned ghastly and stony. He could hear the words that Ye Yan had shouted at him.
"Jing'er killed my mother and me? Absurd!" whispered Cao Junye, there's a clear tone of questioning and suspicion.
He took a deep breath before walking away. The general walks back towards the mountain where his family is, ignoring every nonsense those destroyers had spoken. He turned his ears deaf for those words.

After the zombies were all eliminated that day. The ice that covered the whole country melted overnight. The left-behind water traces from melted ice had also faded with time.
Humans have once again gained the freedom they've lost. It took a year before the other came out of their shell called fear and once again started gaining a foothold on earth. It took three years before earth returned to normal. Except for the fact that the abilities of awakened humans as well as the existence of mutated animals, no one would believe that the apocalypse had happened a few years ago.
The daily life of every mortal on earth resumes but as Ximen Xueya had predicted before. The life of this star only has 300 years left.
Three hundred years later all life inside this star had perished and become nutrients for the celestial willow tree deity. The accumulated energy of the world had been split into two. The first half was sucked in by the willow deity while the other half was taken by Ye Xiajie.
After spending three centuries in that world, the time to separate had come once again. Ye Xiajie cuddled his son, Ye Jingxia, and exchanged a long kiss with his wife, Hei Anjing. This time the first one to leave is Hei Anjing and his son, Zhi Yue had once again pulled them inside his system space together with the other world hoppers who had business with Hei Anjing. Ye Xiajie, Lou Ye, and Yun Ming watched the larger group disappear in front of them.
"My Lord, is there a problem?" asked Warden Lou warily.
Cao Junye glanced coldly at his subordinate. He didn't answer and just faded from the horizons of galaxies and stars.
Warden Lou murmured, "Did I say something wrong, A'Ming?" he asked the prisoner under his jurisdiction.
"You're overstepping your boundaries. He is still your boss," answered Yun Ming as he decided to return to the Nether System Prison space on his own. The warden followed closely after him, not letting themselves get separated.
