Lily was angry.
Like really angry.
Furious even.
Her body was practically shaking at the moment as she glared at her brother.
Her Gege, no matter how much he tried to deny it, was a prince of Yan. This meant his life was valued more than the rest of the citizens in Yan. Everyone that knew who he was would willingly bow their head at him even if he did not like it.
But now?
Was he just about to sell his body to this man?!
What life did he live when he went missing to even consider doing something like this?!!!
With her living in the age of the internet, although restricted, Lily often read about... novels in her free time. The idea of someone selling their body to people was not foreign in those... stories.
Never did Lily think she was going to see something like that happen in real life.
And with her own brother!
From Lin Ye's point of view, what was happening to his sister was something amusing to see. Lily's face went through a variety of emotions.
Anger to confusion to bashful to anger again.
It was safe to say, Lily was having a moment now.
Before she was about to blow up, Lin Ye quickly took action and placed his hand on her shoulder.
"Kieran, can you give me a minute?" Lin Ye looked at the angel with a smile, "I have something to discuss with her."
If the Doctor was asking this to Kieran a few days prior to this, he would think this was something offensive. This man was here to speak to him, why did he think he had time to do something else?
However, this was a new Kieran.
He was more than happy to do what he told him to.
"Of course!" The Angel smiled, "Please take your time."
Smiling and nodding to him, Lin Ye guided Lily to a bench that was far enough for them to have some privacy. Of course, Nian was not far from them.
When the three of them sat on a bench, Lily was about to start their conversation but was stopped when Lin Ye raised his hand to her.
"Wait a moment," Lin Ye smiled at her. He then pointed at the white earring on him, "Let's make sure we really have some privacy."
Nian, who was seated on his right, smirked at him when he said this.
Before Lily could say anything, Lin Ye flicked the earring and a light ring echoed in the hall.
"There," He smiled at her as he leaned back on the bench, "No one is going to hear us now."
Lily's eyes widened at this. Seemingly not trusting him, Lily looked at Nian to get confirmation.
Nian chuckled at this and nodded.
"He's right Sis," She smirked at her, "No one is going to hear us. For example..."
Nian took a deep breath in. She raised her head up.
"Gege's the best!"
Then she shouted as loud as she could.
And it was loud.
Lily panicked at first, thinking that it might anger the man they just met. However, when her eyes landed on him, the man just tilted his head in confusion.
This only confused her more and she glanced back at Lin Ye, who was glaring at Nian.
"Nian, I know they couldn't hear us, but we can," He drilled his right ear as he said this to Nian, "Please don't shout out of nowhere. Almost burst my ear with how loud you were just now."
The only reply that he got was Nian laughing nervously at this.
"Sorry."
Lily looked at the two of them in shock and noticed something, the white earring on Gege had markings on it that were glowing slightly golden light.
So this was the power of the Sui's fragments.
However, this thought quickly evaporated from her mind as she remembered why they were here now.
With impressive speed, Lily lunged at Lin Ye and grabbed his collar and pulled his face to her.
"Did you sell your body to that man just now?!"
With how sudden she asks this, Lin ye could only come up with the most intellectual response that he knows.
"Huh?"
Truly his mind worked in wonder even most doctors could only fathom how it worked.
Lily must have been misunderstanding something about all of this.
Lin Ye held out both of his hands in front of him in hope of calming this angry sister.
"Woah, Woah. There's a huge misunderstanding here," Lin Ye nervously said. Then he glanced at Nian in a desperate attempt for help. "If I did that, Nian would smack some sense into me."
Lily glared at Nian. Nian nodded sagely at what he said just now.
"Yes, Gege would get a beatdown from me if he said that," Nian folded her arms and hummed, "Still."
Then she sent a glare at Kieran.
"It doesn't mean I like the man," Nian said, "He was about to steal Gege."
"Steal him?!"
"Oi! Nian!"
Nian laughed loudly at their reaction.
Yeah, her family was awesome.

After explaining the situation to Lily, Lin Ye was free from his gasping. Now away from death, Lin Ye continued with the meeting.
Thankfully no one got hurt from the start to and very end of the meeting. Especially him.
However, he did notice that both Nian and especially Lily were weirdly close to him throughout this whole ordeal. They even sent some glares towards Kieran.
Surprisingly enough the Angel was not bothered by this. Mainly because his focus was all on Lin Ye and not the two.
Strange but at least he wasn't hurt by all of this.
It was a win in his book.
Lin Ye was now giving a tour around the city with Nian and Lily. The rest were also touring around the city, Adnachiel was acting as their guide while Lin Ye's group was using a tour guide provided by Kieran to use.
Blaze said that they should be in a group because Lin Ye told her that Lin Ye was going to be safe with how many guards were with Lily.
This scared the operators because they never saw anyone other than them. Lily reassured them they were going to be fine, saying her guards were among the best.
Not daring to go against the princess, they all gave in and went their own separate ways.
So now, with a cone of ice cream in his hand, he was having a date with his two little sisters in the so-called Paradise city of Terra.
He had to say, Laterano lived up to their name.
The food that they ordered, albeit only sweets, was quite delicious. Lily even had a blast tasing new things. Nian needed to ask for spicy things added to her treats to enjoy some of them though. Luckily, Lin Ye came prepared and had a lot of spice in his pocket for Nina to use. Something that the deity was happy to know with her was hugging his arm.
Lin Ye was now walking with his two sisters on the street of the marble city; Nian on his right and Lily on his left. Both of them had their hands on him. Nian was hugging his whole arms while eating a doughnut that had chilli spices sprinkled on it. Lily was less over the top compared to Nian, only pinching the end of his coat while eating a chocolate flavour of ice cream. Seeing how she had a smile on her face, Lily must be really enjoying her dessert.
This city was peaceful but sometime there would be sudden sounds of explosions from time to time echoing in the city. Kieran already told them beforehand that Leterano likes to blow up things, so an explosion was not something unusual.
Lin Ye swallowed the last remaining part of his ice cream cone and looked to his side.
"Hey Lily," He called his sister, "Can you tell me more about the emperor?"
Lily stopped eating her ice cream and glared at him.
"He's your brother too," Her eyes pierced into him as she said, "Don't talk to him like he's a stranger to you."
"Ah, sorry for that," Lin Ye's eyes widened and immediately apologized, "But you need to understand Lily, my memories are not the best. So can you help me remember a bit?"
Lilt thought hard on this and what he said made sense. Some of his memories were gone now. It was a miracle that he even remembered her. So it was not a surprise that Gege thought that Ren was a stranger.
Realising this, Lily became serious as she nodded at them.
"I understand, I will tell all that I know about Ren," She firmly said to him.
Lin Ye smiled at how excited she was now. Nian also leaned in closer to them to get to hear them better. She was also interested in knowing more about Gege's past.
So with that, Lily told him all about Ying Ren.
Not the current emperor of Yan.
But the brother of Zhen and Lily.
He was sick since birth. Although his race helped him survive this long, it could only do so much. Lily told him that he may be the smartest person in Yan. From what she was stealing from him, Ren was a good brother, it was just with how sick he was and how the emperor was focused on him to be his successor, they rarely interacted.
What shocks him, even more, was that Zhen and Ren have a good relationship. Lily said that Zhen would sometimes take care of Ren if he could.
Hearing all of this, Lin Ye had a good impression of the man. Much better than Ying Jie, however, that was not hard to do.
Lily wanted to talk more but she did not really know Ren that much with how little she talked to him.
After hearing all of this, Lin Ye hummed to himself.
"So that's how he is?" Lin Ye nodded to himself, "I think I will pay a visit to the man that took care of my sister while I was away."
Lin Ye then gently rubbed Lily's head.
"Thanks for telling me that," He said to her with a smile, "Can't wait to meet him."
Although Lily did not say anything, with how she was beaming at him now, Lin Ye knew she was happy.
Then he glanced at Nian.
"Let's go together then Nian," He suddenly said to her.
The dragon raised a brow at him in confusion.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"Well seeing that we're family, we have to see him together," Lin Ye hummed and then he glanced at Lily, "Right Lily?"
The princess nodded at this and smiled at Nian, "I am sure he will be thrilled to see you two."
Nian almost stopped walking at what she was hearing now.
We're family.
His sentence echoed in her head.
Then her face slowly morphed into a beaming smile. Nian hugged his arm tighter now.
"Can't wait!"
The two of them laughed at how excited she was.
"You seemed to be having fun."
Their laughter died out when they heard this. Lin Ye looked in front of them and sighs at the sight of the person, her feathery red hair dancing in the breeze.
"You do know someone that cares for you is in trouble. You still have time to have a date at this moment?"
With how she was glaring at him while her arms folded under her chest, the woman was not pleased to see him.
"Hey there Diana," Lin Ye smiled at the woman. Then he remembered something and fished a box out from his coat, "I thought I would see you today. Here, a doughnut. Don't worry, it's still warm."
Diana's brow twitched hearing this.
"Now I can see why she likes you so much."
