The whole week passed in a blink of seconds for both of them as they were enjoying with each other. Hours looked like seconds because time was less, Shivaay used to come home early just to spend time with Anika and Ansh. He took Ansh to his office for 3 days which looked best working days in his life because of Ansh. Ansh also enjoyed roaming the office with Shivaay and playing with him. Handling Ansh looked easy to Shivaay as he was enjoying making him laugh whenever Ansh cried.
"When will you come?", Anika asked as she need to go back to start work for the Ansh industry. They need to hire employees and she needs to start the company too for which she is excited
"Soon and will take care of myself", Shivaay said before Anika could instruct him. Right now they are standing near the airport with Ansh in his arms.
"I wish I could stop time ", Anika said her impossible wish. Shivaay took a long breath as he also wishes the same and wants her to stay a little longer but she can't. Just like him, she can also concentrate on work, he has no problem with anything.
"Thanks for the wonderful birthday gift", Shivaay said and hugged Anika, Ansh was in his arms so he also tried to hug Anika which made her smile.
"Seeing you happy and fine makes me happy. Don't forget to take medicines on time and don't skip meals. I will get your report from Tara", Anika said warning Shivaay not to behave carelessly to which Shivaay said ok
"Don't make this your home. Live here for some time and then come back. Don't you have any trustworthy person here?", Anika asked
"If we had then I would have come back. I can't give this responsibility to anyone ", Shivaay told her
"Ok, I understand. You have to come back because you will cut the ribbon and start the function of the ", Anika said because she wants Shivaay to live the moment of beginning his dream. She will try her best to make his brand and industry famous too but first, she needs to confirm his presence
"I know. Invite others not me", Shivaay said and noticed her moist eyes which pained his heart, he does not want to let her go but he is not having a reason to stop her now. He caressed Anika's cheek, Anika closed her eyes when she felt Shivaay coming close to her, he know she need his assurance. They can never get tired of each other, even eternity is less for them, they just want to be with each other he kissed her moist eyes. A teardrop fell from her eyes feeling his love and care, Shivaay wiped her tear and kissed her cheeks
"Take care. Will come soon", Shivaay said, Anika, hugged him for the last time and left with a smile as Shivaay gestured for her to smile.
After reaching Oberoi Mansion she took a rest for some time and then called Dhruv and Khanna to the Ansh industry to start leftover work. She doesn't want to delay anymore. She entered her cabin with a wall painting which Shivaay purchased for her, she was checking where it will look good as rooms are already built and coloured just hiring employees task is left.
Anika smiled when she imagined this painting. Shivaay asked her to hang this painting in her cabin. She sat on her chair and caressed the painting remembering the day when Shivaay brought this.
Flashback start
"You came early today. Do you need any files?", Anika asked opening the door of the house to see Shivaay standing there with his office bag. Anika smiled finding him as it was 11: 00 am and she was not expecting his presence in the morning. He mostly comes at 8 and if early then it used to be 5 in the evening
"No just came to give you something and then will go office after an hour ", Shivaay said and noticed Ansh coming from behind with a toy in his hands. He ran towards him and sat in front of Ansh and pulled him onto his lap. Anika closed the door as this place is new so she always lock the door. Nobody knows them here so there is no use in letting doors open.
"See papa brought a new toy", Shivaay said showing him a glowing car which makes a soothing voice which looked attractive to Ansh he tried to show Shivaay that this is his toy when Shivaay started to play with the car to show Ansh.
"Pa...", Ansh tried saying something and sat with the car. Shivaay kissed Ansh's cheeks and went towards Anika who was staring father-son duo. Living alone with Shivaay made her realise that Shivaay has a lot of work pressure and he still tries his best to spend time with Ansh and her both.
"I know I look handsome but have some shame. Your son is watching you, what he will learn?", Shivaay teased and took one photo frame out of his bag
"Look who is saying? A person who is shameless himself ", Anika said as it's always Shivaay who doesn't realise his actions. She can understand him very well as after coming home tired Shivaay needs attention and her care makes him forget his surroundings. She doesn't stop him too because she also needs his time and love.
"I purchased this for our industry. Hang this in your cabin", Shivaay said and gave her the frame. Anika caressed the painting with a smile and hugged the painting as it is of God and Goddess (Ps. Imagine anything as didn't feel like using a particular picture ❤️)
"Wow this is so beautiful", Anika said and looked towards Shivaay to thank him for this beautiful picture. He understands her so well, she was thinking to buy a few pictures to hang in her cabin and he purchased one for her without asking him. Shivaay smiled as he knows she needed it, when he saw her cabin he felt it empty and thought to purchase something for her. He knows she loves hanging pictures because their room has many pictures just because of her insistence and cabin too.
"I want my return gift. Give me", Shivaay said stepping close towards Anika, Anika widened her eyes in shock and checked what Ansh is doing. Shivaay placed the picture on the table and held her waist. He intertwined their fingers and kissed them, Anika shivered with his touch and felt her cheeks burning.
"Who is shameless now?", Anika asked gesturing towards Ansh who is busy playing with the new toy
"No problem. He will not understand anything. Even if he understands we are teaching him love which is not bad", Shivaay said and tucked her hair strand behind her ears, Anika blushed hearing him as he is right. He has seen fights in childhood and that had a great impact on him so there is no harm if Ansh sees thier parent's love for each other. Yes, she wants to keep moments private but not love and care, she wants her son to love how to respect elders just like Shivaay do.
"Shivaay from the time I came here you stopped concentrating on work ", Anika said and rubbed her hand on his cheek softly, his beard makes him look handsome and young. She wants to keep confessing how much he means to her and she won't want to burden him with anything
"I go to the office daily ", Shivaay stated fact
"Yes with your son and after coming back...", Anika was about to say that he wastes his time with her but Shivaay interrupted her
"Because I will not get these moments again. Want to capture them forever", Shivaay whispered and joined their forehead together.
"Yes and you tell this daily ", Anika said
"Yes Because...", Shivaay said

"Anika", Anika heard her name called loudly when she was recalling memory and noticed Dhruv standing in front of her
"Ohh hii Dhruv. When you came ?", Anika asked hiding her smile because she is very happy remembering that moment and want to hug the frame again but in front of Dhruv, she can't act crazy.
"When you were lost in your husband's thoughts ", he said guessing Anika's thoughts because of her smile and blush. He adores Anika for many reasons and Shivaay too.
"W... Why you came here?", Anika stammered thinking about how he got to know about her thoughts? Was she repeating her words?
"So my guess was right. Anyways I came here to talk with you. We will start work today right?", Dhruv asked to which Anika nodded. Anika called him into the office today which made him guess that they will start working now.
"Yes, Have you announced that tomorrow we will be taking interviews?", Anika asked
"Yes and left Oberoi office too", Dhruv said as taking leave from the office being an employee was not easy for him. Also helping Anika is very important as with time their friendship became stronger.
"Why? What was the need to do that?", Anika shouted
"You want me to take holidays daily ?", Dhruv asked
"Ohh yes sorry", Anika said realising that he is right, one can't take holidays daily and she can't handle everything alone. Omru also helps her but they are unaware of business strategies, so they can't help her with many problems. She will give him the manager position because she trusts him.
"Why aren't you involving anyone else from the Oberoi office?", Dhruv asked as before it was secret but now it is not secret anymore. He wants to know why Anika is not involving Tej who knows the business and can help them.
"My wish Dhruv. If you want to help then do otherwise leave I can handle everything alone", Anika said rudely because she don't want to talk about Tej with anyone.
"Where is Shivaay?", Dhruv asked
"He will come back when I will start this company and he is helping me in every possible way. Omru are helping too but they don't know the business", Anika said clearing his confusion if he is thinking that she is not taking the family's help.
"Why not Tej sir?", Dhruv asked
"That's my personal matter", Anika said and started to talk about work and project which they will collaborate first with Shivaay's branch which is in Dubai as she don't want to work in that place where Shivaay was disrespected. For Shivaay it was normal but for her, it is not. She worked till night as she came office in evening so took time to talk about everything. When she came back she got to know Ansh is with Janvi. She went towards their room and noticed Ansh playing with Janvi
"If you are done enjoying with another guy then handle your son", Tej said when he noticed Anika near the door.
"Tej...",
"Anika he is joking ", Janvi said pressing Tej's shoulder which made Anika feel bad. She was working and his eyes just noticed that she was with boys.
"She spent the whole day with a guy who left the Oberoi office for her. She came today and went to meet him ", Tej said as he got to know from someone that she was with Dhruv
"I know my limits mom and I need someone who could help me in business", Anika replied to Janvi politely as Shivaay asked her not to fight with Tej.
"Why not me?", Tej asked
"Because you don't respect Shivaay", Anika said and left from there taking Ansh with her. She entered their room and sat on the bed with Ansh. She hugged Ansh tightly thinking of him as Shivaay. She knows she doesn't need to prove her love and respect to Shivaay but she felt very bad about his thinking. Why do people take girls wrong if they work late at night? Her confidence breaks when she hears someone pointing a finger at her character.
"Shivaay don't take me wrong for spending the whole day in the new office with boys. I love only one person that is you. Khanna and Dhruv are just supporters", Anika thought and kissed the head of Ansh. In hard times her son gives strength because he is Shivaay's blood.
