The breeze hummed, then the dead leaves rustled, and the thick woodsy aroma of the strong forest greeted my nose.

As we exited the secret passage in the ruins, the morning glow of the sun welcomed my view. The lids of eyes squinted, blinking as I adjusted my sight.

[Are you sure about doing this?] Bakunawa asked as we both came out of the secret passage.

I nodded solemnly, holding the letters firmly in my hand.

Bakunawa shook her head dissatisfied, then she started walking, and I followed beside her with a sweet smile on my face. As I held the letters in my hand, I remembered how this plan all started, and that made me smile sweetly even more.

Finally, I'm taking the first step to my sweet plan of revenge.

It took me a lot of struggling to learn everything that is needed in this strategy. Just so I could make sure that the plan would work perfectly.

Before we left the Pariah Sanctuary, I had already prepared a bunch of letters. These letters will be sent anonymously by me across the Maple Kingdom.

At first, I was thinking about hiring someone to send these letters and spread them to the public.

However, Bakunawa suggested a way that would be more efficient and secretive, and that is to just apply an Enchantment on the letters.

This type of placing an Enchantment on letters was called Fluttering Letter, an old style of communication during the war back then.

The invention of the Manaphone made the old type of communication forgotten, and according to Bakunawa, Fluttering Letter may not be faster than the Manaphone in terms of sending a short and direct message. But Fluttering Letter has more confidentiality than Manaphone.

Because Manaphone is a type of an enchantment device that is linked to one another, and the source of all these links are still unknown even to Bakunawa.

In terms of confidentiality, Bakunawa thinks that using the old type of communication is much better.

Based on Bakunawa's explanation, magic circle and magic script are a type of mana manipulation that is under the category of both Enchantment Magic and Alchemy Magic.

These two Magic Formations convert mana according to the instructions on the magic script.

Furthermore, anyone can use any type of attributes using magic circles and magic scripts. Because the circle and the script will convert the user's mana into another form of mana attribute. This may not be used in melee-fights, but this is actually more useful in huge battles.

And because I already decided to go on the path of revenge, I felt the need to learn more about magic. Especially about Enchantment Magic since it is crucial for my plan to work.

This made me decide to study magic circles and magic script.

During my time in the sanctuary, I'm not only grieving but also studying Enchantment Magic.

And Enchantment Magic Formation needs two things. First is to build the magic circle with pulverised Coral; the sacred symbol of transformation. Next is to carve the letters of Baybayin script on the Quartz Stones; the symbol of spirituality and wisdom.

In addition, there should also be a drawn magic circle and script on the targeted objects, so everything will be linked together once the user activates the main circle.

At the Pariah Sanctuary, I spent some time carving the Baybayin script on the Quartz Stones. Bakunawa had these things inside her body, so she gave these things to me for my Enchantment Magic.

I also drew small magic circles on the back of each letter.

It was complicated for me to understand the Baybayin script at first. However, I found a way to learn the complicatedness behind it.

I tried thinking of the scripts like a set of codes; like a programming language I usually see on earth. And then I tried thinking that magic circles are like a computer device. Having this mindset made it easy for me to understand magic circles and magic scripts.

Furthermore, Bakunawa was helping me throughout the process, and Bakunawa's rich experience made it easy for me to learn all the processes.

What I learn so far is only the basics, but still, it's already enough for me to create a magic circle and magic scripts that will send my letters across the Maple Kingdom.

To make sure that my letters would only reach the aristocrats. I also studied the entire map of the Maple Kingdom.

I memorised each place where I should send each of my letters, and afterwards, I included the coordinates of these places in the magic script inside the magic circle on the back of each letter. And each letter has different coordinates set on the scripts.

Then the Enchantment Magic will do the job for me to deliver these letters to the coordinates I set on the magic scripts.

Currently, Bakunawa is looking for a deserted place far from the ruins, and after walking for a while, Bakunawa finally stopped, standing in the middle of a plain-looking ground.

[This place is good enough.] Bakunawa transmitted, looking around.

I nodded. "Do you feel anyone lurking around?" I asked.

Bakunawa glanced at me. [I didn't see anyone in the surrounding area except for the two of us. Which means that this would be a good place to start the Enchantment Magic. So what's your plan?]

"That's good, then I'll start now," I answered, taking out the things needed for the Enchantment Magic inside my backpack.

Bakunawa and I chose a place far from the ruins.

Because someone with good tracking skills might find the traces to the ruins. And I don't want to bring harm to everyone in Pariah Sanctuary.

I also have to make sure that no one will find out that these letters came from me and in this place. So, I added encryptions to my magic scripts. In this way, no one can easily decode and decipher it.

While Bakunawa helped me in drawing a perfect circle on the plain-looking ground. I traced that circle, placing the white sand on its trails. Afterwards, I placed the Quartz Stones inside the circle, and then I put all the letters in the middle.

[Everything is ready, are you certain of continuing this?] Bakunawa asked again, staring at me worriedly.

I took a deep sigh as I determinedly answered. "Yes."

Bakunawa shook her head helplessly. [Well, I've checked the surrounding area again, and there is no one in sight, so you can start anytime you're ready.]

"Thanks," I mumbled, sitting in the middle of the circle in a lotus position. "I'll start activating the magic circles."

Afterwards, I closed my eyes as I started channelling my mana on the stones.

[You did it.] Bakunawa transmitted to my head.

I opened my eyes. The white sand of a circle and Quartz stones glowed brightly, then they melted, and one by one, my letters fluttered in the air.

I steeled my heart as I narrowed my eyes.

These letters will only be sent to Noble Families. Because I know that the rebel army will only target the aristocrats. And the innocent people in the aristocrats will become the poor victim of this movement from the rebel army.

Having said that, I don't really have a problem with the rebel army fighting for their rights. And I'm not doing this for the sake of justice or righteousness either.

However, things became personal when that slug man targeted me and Pula.

What's more, there are also innocent children part of the aristocrats, and they shouldn't be the one to pay whatever sins that their parents committed in this kingdom.

Children are innocent and shouldn't be implicated.

Just like Pula.

Pula shouldn't have died because of me. And that slug man shouldn't have targeted Pula either.

That's right. If that slug man dared attack my family, then there shouldn't be any problem with me attacking back, right?

Like they said, an eye for eye, and a tooth for a tooth. In my case, the one that I lost is my family. So that slug man should also feel the same pain he did to me.

For that reason, I'm going to make the rebel army, the organisation that the slug man considers as a family, feel the same pain that Pula felt. I will make sure that they will shut down for good.

I smiled sweetly, seeing my letters float in the air, fading one by one as they all flew to somewhere else.

'This is just the beginning,' I thought as I plastered a crescent smile on my face.

[Well, there goes the letters...] Bakunawa commented, looking up at the letters fluttering in the air.

"Mm, finally," I mumbled, looking at the sky.

If only the rebel army isn't so biassed to commoners, then I won't mind siding with them.

However, it seems that some people of this organization have biassed opinions and discriminating ideals.

If they really wanted equality, then these people shouldn't be biassed only to commoners. Because if that is the case, then that's no longer equality.

My letter doesn't only contain warning information about the rebel army. It also contains a wake up call. A threatening message to wake up the sleeping nobles from their delusional status.

Having higher status doesn't mean privilege but more of a responsibility. This is what my message contains; a wake up call.

[Let's go?] Bakunawa asked as the last paper disappeared, fading as it flew on the sky.

"Yeah," I said as I started walking.

As Bakunawa and I walk, we pass through the flower field. This made me remember Kendra, and I stopped walking as an idea came to my mind.

[What's the matter?] Bakunawa asked.

I smiled, taking a blank piece of paper and quill pen. "I'm going to send another letter to someone," I answered.

Bakunawa wrinkled her brows, baffled. [What? I thought you already prepared everything...then who are you writing for this time?]

My smile softened as I answered, "Kendra, we're both studying in Mystic Academy."

[Oh~do you fancy Kendra?] Bakunawa asked teasingly.

My mouth twitched. "No, Kendra is like me, you know? Kendra is a pure girl, and anyway, Kendra already has a female-partner, so stop teasing me."

[Smells like bitterness~ are you sure you don't fancy this girl Kendra? And not to mention that the content of your letter feels like a confession to someone you really really like, you know~] Bakunawa transmitted to my head, still in a teasing voice, looking at me with sly eyes.

I pinch the bridge of my nose as I sighed. "It's not a confession letter, more of a letter to get myself acquainted with Kendra," I explained, scribbling down on the paper.

[Whatever you say~] Bakunawa transmitted, laughing as her tongue went in and out like a snake.

I took a deep sigh and chose to ignore Bakunawa, then I continued writing.

After writing down everything I wanted to say, I folded the paper neatly. Then I created another magic circle, carving on the Quartz stone a simple instruction of script codes.

Afterwards, the letter fluttered around the area of the flower field. I chose to leave the letter here, well, because I can't really send the letter to Kendra's dormitory.

As much as possible, I would like to communicate with Kendra secretly. Additionally, I don't know where to locate Kendra's room in the GOF Dormitory. Moreover, sending a letter directly to Kendra's room might make me look like a creepy stalker. And that's not how I want to appear to Kendra

Anyway, I'm pretty sure Kendra often comes here in the flower field. I have no credible evidence with my statement, but I have this inkling intuition that this flower field is where Kendra often goes for a relaxing time. In other words, this flower field is probably Kendra's comfort zone.

Still, these are all intuitions. I'm still just hoping that Kendra will visit the flower field again, so she can see my letter.

Well, I'm not really worried. Because this letter will stay floating in the air until Kendra herself opens it. No one else aside from Kendra can open the letter. Because I added a safety mechanism to the script. If anyone other than Kendra tries to grab the letter, the letter will automatically dodge.

I smiled to myself proudly, feeling smart for some reason. Seeing my letter for Kendra fluttering above the air; I nodded to myself with a satisfied expression.

"It's all done, let's go," I said.

Afterwards, Bakunawa and I left the flower field as we started another long journey.
