I could feel me slowly lose consciousness.
A small smile made its way on my lips knowing that this is my last time going to sleep.
This time I wasn't awoken by beeps of a hospital nor the frantic voices of my family, but a soft hand caressing my cheek. I slowly opened my eyes seeing white surrounding me.
I looked towards the direction of the hand caressing me & seen the only person I'd ever want to see.
His smile hadn't changed, but his pretty eyes looked sad.
" You had a long life to live.
Why'd you end it" ?
I ignored what he said & reached up to touch his face too. He had grown his hair back.
I had just started getting used to his bald head when he died.
I cried every single day wanting to hear his voice again.
" I missed hearing you speak".
A single tear fell from my eye.
His thumb reached out & brushed it away.
He always hated seeing me cry.
I wonder if he had seen his funeral or my reaction to when the doctors told me he was dead .
I remember letting out a heartbreaking scream that led to security removing me from the hospital for disturbing the other patients.
That day I lost the only person who meant something to me in this world.
It felt as if my heart had been ripped out of my chest.
I met his eyes & sadly smiled.
" I wanted to die just to see you again".
I could see tears well in his eyes .
I felt his hand grab mines & help me stand.
He led me to a huge waterfall.
I looked down at the falling water seeing an image of me laying in a hospital bed.
The nurses frantically running into my room as I coded.
" You only have 2 minutes to leave before you are here forever. All you have to do is jump & you'll be guided the rest of the way."
He spoke.
" How do you expect me to live life when you aren't there to live it with me"?
I replied feeling him clutch my hand tighter.
" To the fullest".
" I'll always be there y/n.
In your dreams.
On TV.
You might even see me in the mirror".
He smiled.
A tear escaped both of our eyes before I felt a hand on my lower back; pushing me into the water below me.

I woke up with a loud gasp.
I could hear some of the nurses sigh in relief.
A tear fell from my right eye.
I smiled seeing the television screen read " I love you" before disappearing quickly.
"I love you too".

I don't know if this is an " I'm back". I'm pretty sure it isn't, but thank you to everyone who reads my imagines & enjoys them. Y'all make me so happy with the messages & positive comments.
