Entering the room and took a moment to look at his surroundings, Evan couldn't help but admired the design.
The room was quite big, measuring about 50 x 50 ft. As Vanoss walked in, his nostrils instantly picked up the smell of a mixture of two very distinct smells: Inside of a sports car, and Woman Shampoo.
The room was lit by a few glowing small, unshaded light sources found on a ceiling, the wall, and a moderately sized oak writing desk in the middle of the room. Behind the desk stood a large window with bronze handles that led to the balcony outside where you could overlook the beautiful garden that was on the ground floor.
Vanoss: Ahhh, not bad.
Glancing at the room, his bird eyes instantly drifted towards the balcony of the room, behind the desk, where a large potted with three blue flowers stood.
'The Remedium Flower'
The name of the flower stood there.
And also the flower that could cure all diseases. In fact, not only it cures diseases including cancee but could also get rid of parasites or anything threatens inside the body, it also includes curing Curses, it could even possibly cured Subaru's curse in the anime Re:Zero.
Although, Vanoss didn't came here for curing anyone, he only uses it to give that lizard lady to create something to return them to Earth. But it's not just that, it was also enticed by the fact that the flower could prove useful for him in the future.
It's worth was immense.
Vanoss: Come here you!
Opening the balcony door, Vanoss quickly arrived before the potted flower. Touching one of the flowers with his hand, Evan softly muttered.
Vanoss: Even it is a flower, it looks pretty tasty.
Admiring the flowers before him, even they are flowers, he was almost tempted to just take one and eat it right off the bat, but he refrained from doing so.
He wasn't that stupid.
Because while it contains insane amount of Pure mana, eating it right away would make his body reject the foreign energy and shut down all of his vitals, heart, and his brain instantly.
That's what he learns from that lizard lady.
It is a powerful cure, but it is also a powerful poisen.
After admiring the flowers for a couple of seconds, Vanoss immediately placed the whole plant into his inventory.
Vanoss: Hmm, what's next…
Done taking care of the flower, Vanoss looked around for a moment. Soon, a smile appeared on his face.
Vanoss: I guess it's about time I start plundering.
Going back into the room, arriving before the desk, Vanoss quickly took anything that he thought was useful. From every nook and cranny of the room, he just took everything that seemed to contain any worth.
Having spent basically everything that he had just to come here, he was now dirt poor.
But he also still owed Julian and the Church of the Midnight Kairos' money, so if there was anything that looked remotely valuable he just took it.
Vanoss(Thoughts): Damn, is this how thieves feel when they steal?
He didn't hate this feeling
…it felt exhilarating
As his thoughts paused there, his hand froze for a split second just as he was about to pick up another object.
Vanoss(Thoughts): Although it is nice, I should definitely not get addicted to this feeling.
Nothing good would come out of him getting addicted to stealing.
Well, though he said that he continued to plunder the area freely.
As he took most of the items he also made sure to be careful when taking some of the stuff.
He didn't take everything.
Just because something looked valuable, it didn't mean that it contained no thorns. There were definitely items that Vanoss couldn't take else the consequences could become disastrous.
He just made sure to stay away from anything that looked like an artifact or emanated strong magic energy.
There was definitely a chance that Von Snow dude could trace the item, and if such a thing happened, Vanoss was in for a whole world of trouble. And if things get worse like him getting very pissed in a whole different level, the Owl boi could kiss his sorry ass goodbye.
Having a blood feud with a powerful SS-rank being like the Councilman when you were only <B–> rank yourself wasn't something that Vanoss could handle.

Vanoss: Ooooo, this one looks important!
As he was plundering, opening the drawer of the desk, his eyes were instantly drawn towards a couple of items. More specifically towards a grey metallic cube in a middle of a drawer filled with keys and a couple of blue looking Avocados with immense Pure magic within them.
Without hesitation, he just took everything.
Vanoss: This should be enough.
With everything gathered, checking every nook and cranny of the office, and making sure that Vanoss took everything that he could possibly take, he nodded my head in satisfaction.
Vanoss: Two hours?
Glancing at his watch and seeing that he only had two hours left, he decided to quickly leave the place.
It was about time he reunited with Wildcat.
Vanoss: Hmmm…It wouldn't be nice of me if I just left without leaving behind a present.
Just before he left, recalling something, he placed down a Minecraft Chest on the wooden table.
It was just a small present that he wanted to give.
After all, Vanoss did take quite a lot of stuff from them, it would've been impolite of him to just come and go without leaving anything in return.
Vanoss: Hopefully they will be appreciated ^.^
Having taken everything that he wanted, Evan comfortably left the room.
Glancing back at the room, a chuckle involuntarily escaped from his lips.
Vanoss(Thoughts): Hehehe, I wonder how that Snow guy would react once he finds out about how I raided his whole place.
Well, sadly for him, Vanoss wouldn't be able to tell as he would be long gone.
However, once Azazel Von Snow did indeed find out about what had happened, if he was still alive by the time the war ended, he could already imagine the scenery outside.
Spotting Axalia warily glancing towards her surroundings to make sure that no one was coming, smiling, Vanoss casually threw an item at her.
Vanoss: Here, catch.
Raising her hand and catching the item, Axalia skeptically looked at the item in her hand. Not even a second after glancing at the time, opening her eyes wide, her voice raised a few pitches.
Axalia: Hm, what's this? wait!
Vanoss: Yeah of course, it's a very rare fruit that make you breakthrough. As a kind man I am, I would repay you after helping me that far. Seeing you as my slave makes me felt like a dick more than Wildcat or Brian was.
The fruit Vanoss just gave is something could make him jump to the next rank however it only contains Pure mana, he has normal mana which would never work on him.
Axalia was surprised, since she proclaim herself to be alongside with Vanoss for long, she first thought she just enslave herself to him. In her knowledge, being a slave will not be great.
But now the person in front of her did something kind, she sign in relief as her doupts vanished.
That Beastmen indeed has a kind side.
Staring at the fruit in her hand, Axalia closed her eyes slightly as a soft voice escaped from her lips.
Axalia: I never ask anything like this but I also never thought someone like you who literally cause a war would do something like this.
For centuries back in her time, she never reach Demigod realm since she has crowned as the Fairy Queen after her mother.
But now, her long-cherished dream of finally reaching the Demigod realm was within her arm's reach.
She had tried countless times to break through this rank to no avail as she miserably failed each time.
She had originally thought that she would still take another 100 or 500 years before breaking through, but now with the fruit in her hands, she could now be able to quickly break through to Demigod realm without a hitch.
Something that she had longed for a very long time.
Staring at his watch and seeing the time, Evan brows knit for a split second before he turned to Axalia and said.
Vanoss: Alright let's go back, we don't have much time to spare.
Taking her eyes off of the fruit, Axalia nodded her head.
Axalia: Okay.

Vanoss: Hey guys, I'm back!
Walking towards the bottom floor wasn't that hard, although things have quieted down in the prison area indicating to Evan that things have been sorted there, most of the remaining guards inside of the castle were still most likely there trying to figure out what had happened.
Thus, just like before, his path was fairly unobstructed. Although there were a couple of occasions in which someone passed by near him, with their focus being on either the war outside or the incident in the prison, Vanoss was somehow able to avoid being detected.
And so thanks to that, he was able to quickly reach Wildcat's location.
Wildcat: Have you sorted out everything?
Vanoss: Yup.
Nodding his head and looking around the area they were in, Vanoss was soon able to spot a large metallic golden door in the distance with fine patterns covering the whole door and things seem to be magic runes in there. In the middle of the door was a small slot the size of a cube.
Vanoss: So what's the situation here?
Similarly glancing at the door in the distance, Tyler had an odd look on his face.
Wildcat: Actually it's surprisingly quiet here.
Vanoss: Meaning?
Wildcat: Meaning that there are not that many Guards here protecting the treasury. In fact, there's barely anyone here.
Pausing and turning his attention back to the Owl boi, Tyler continued.
Wildcat: Apart from the area that leads to the door, there's practically no one in here. From what I've figured, the guards are maybe confident in the door's durability hence why they don't pay too much attention to the place.
Vanoss: Well I can't say I'm too surprised by this info.
From what he remembered from Wave's information about Von Snow's castle, the door before them was something that even S-rank Demigods couldn't forcibly break open.
Made with special metal alloys, materials, and magic runes casting the door making it practically impenetrable. Unless you had the key to the place, the three not even T'challa himself practically stood no chance at breaking in.
This also explained why the security here was lax.
They were just that confident in the fact that no one could enter the place.
Fortunately, this made things a lot easier for Vanoss.
With barely anyone present, he could comfortably open the treasury without any obstructions.
Plus, if someone really did come here, glancing at T'challa who was standing upright next to Wildcat, Evan knew that he could count on him.
Thus, turning around and glancing at the door in the distance, he confidently said
Vanoss: Leave the matter of breaking into the treasury to me.
Weirdly looking at me, Tyler asked.
Wildcat: Was the reason you were missing because of the door?
Vanoss: Probably :/
Wildcat: (¬_¬)
...Your expression says it, there is something.
Vanoss: Okay, okay, the main reason is the flower is there, but I do find something looks like a key.
Taking out the cube-like object that Vanoss had gotten from Von Snow's living space, Evan calmly walked towards the large golden door and placed the cube in the small slot in the middle of the door.
Well, he indeed found it in a bunch of keys while it is the only one is not look the same as the others which made it really odd.
So he guess it might something very important.
And his guess was right after all.
Shortly after inserting the cube inside of the slot, the magic runes in the door suddenly glowed in a golden light and the metallic sound of the door opening rang across the space.
Glancing at T'challa to make sure he was guarding the entrance, a smile appeared on Evan's face as the contents that were on the other side of the door was revealed.
Vanos: Finally, it was time that I reaped the rewards of my trip.
As the door opened revealing what lay behind it, Vanoss knew that all of the struggles that he had gone through this past month were finally going to pay off.
In a very lucrative way at that.
Once the doors fully opened up revealing what was behind the large door, the three halted for a second as Vanoss and Wildcat mouth opened up widely.
Vanoss: Holy shit, I think I got some flashbacks back in Day 2 of our arrival in this world.
A vermilion rug ran down from the door all the way to the end of the room. Banners with golden embroideries swung gently from the side of the walls that were coated in a golden luster. Between each banner stood a large candlestick, almost all of them lit and in turn illuminating the room below them.
Around the room were rows upon rows of glass-protected cabinets with all sorts of weapons and artifacts hidden behind them.
Magic Artifacts, natural treasures, weapons, and many other miscellaneous items were all stored inside of the cabinets.
Wildcat: Oh wow…
Entering the room and taking a look at the place, Tyler exclaimed in disbelief.
Wildcat: We are definitely got some big good ol' booty here!
The number of treasures present was beyond what Wildcat had ever expected.
Although he expected there to be something, he did not expect there to be so many items here. All of the stuff here could probably fetch him a hefty sum of money.
Just the weapons alone were enough for anyone to drool over.
Vanoss: Let's go, T'challa you wait outside.
Entering the treasury, the first thing Evan did was tell the Panther General to wait outside.
There is a very obvious reason as to why Vanoss kept him outside, to guard the entrance in case someone found out they broke in.
Glancing at Evan who was similarly looking at the treasury with shining eyes, Tyler asked.
Wildcat: How are we going to take the stuff, should we just break all of the cabinets?
Vanoss: If only that was possible…
According what he also read in the documents Wave gave him from the spy network in Midnight Kairos is that the cabinets before them were made of special materials that were extremely durable.
So, even if they forcefully tried to break them open, it would probably take a long time to open each and every single cabinet present.
Vanoss honestly wanted to take everything with him, but given the time left they had, he could only select a few of them to take.
Wildcat: So if we can't break them, then what the hell are we going to do?
Vanoss: Don't worry, I've already thought it through, although we can't take everything, I pretty much guess well which stuff could be more useful for us.
According to the documents, not just the Midnight Kairos able to get information about the treasury room but also every treasures in ther present, so Evan already knew what items there were and which ones were the most valuable.
Knowing this, Vanoss couldn't help but admire more to the Church of the Midnight Kairos, it is like they knew everything and the world itself.
They are indeed a huge and powerful organization.
Back to the scene, without hesitation, Vanoss instantly made his way towards one of the cabinets closest to them.
Vanoss: Alright, this should be the first one.
Wildcat: Wait, what if we put everything in our inventory and bring them back?
Vanoss: I don't think we can do that.
Wildcat: Why not?
Brushing his Owl feathers to the side, Vanoss pointed towards the bottom part of the cabinets.
Vanoss: Just look, the cabinets are attached to the ground. We could've probably done that if we had more time, but we don't so we can only break a select few cabinets
Vanoss: Ah, fair enough.
Staring at the cabinets, Wildcat indeed noticed that they were directly attached to the ground making it impossible to just put them in their inventory.
Even if they did cut the bottom part, it would take way longer than just breaking the windows, therefore, Tyler knew that he could only give up on the idea of bringing everything.
Though disappointing, he knew that he was partly responsible for this as he took too much time counting the castle.
Pointing and moving before one of the cabinets in the distance, Evan urged Tyler to follow him.
Vanoss: Yeah, let's not waste any more time, and let's start our thieving spree!
Hearing Evan's exciting words, which got Wildcat hyped up as he began to follow his friend's lead.
Wildcat: Alriiiiight!
Arriving before a certain cabinet and standing next to the Owl man, the pig boi curiously asked.
Wildcat: This one?
Nodding his head, Evan placed his hand on the glass of the cabinet as he moved his face closer to get a closer look at what was behind.
Vanoss: Yeah, this is the first cabinet we should be opening.
Glancing at the cabinet before him that had many different things on display ranging from fruits, herbs, and many other things that seemed to be naturally made.
Wildcat: Are those natural treasures?
Vanoss: Yup, natural treasures.
Wildcat: Natural treasure? But will they work on us?
Vanoss: Definitely not, most of them contains Pure mana which doesn't even work on us while we only have normal mana.
Since this land's mana modified by the Blue Goddess, Gliesia, most of the natural treasures before them could only be consumed by the residents in his land thus making them useless to our boys.
But except for one.
Grass of Vitality.
A natural treasure that could also be found on outside the lands of the Theocracy and that both Vanoss and Wildcat could consume.
Upon consumption, it would in turn allow for the both of them to rank up.
And in fact, it is not the first time they consume one as the two of them ate one 2 months ago back at Monty Oum's treasures.
This is why the group just have reach <C–> to <C> rank just a matter of days without any efforts.
Therefore, with the aid of the Grass of Vitality, reaching <B> rank wasn't impossible.
Vanoss: Hmm, most of them won't work on us as only the people in the Theocracy can only use them, but if you look closely over there you can see the stalks of Grass of Vitality.
Wildcat? Oh, I see them. Man, I can't wait to eat as a Cow once again like back in the Mansion, the same day we face that Necromancer, Death Knight, or Wither Boss, I think I remember that just a week ago.
Vanoss: Please don't mention the Death Knight.
Wildcat: It's kinda hilarious when it yeeted you ass off back to the surface, HAHAHA!
Vanoss: Tyler, just shut the fuck up.
Wildcat: Okay, okay. So... what grade are they?
Vanoss: Enough to help us rank up once, so I think they are fairly good, plus those two treasures are not my main goal, but it's the other good stuff.
Wildcat: Ahhhhh... I see.
Nodding his head and turning his attention away from the Grass of Vitality, Tyler glanced at the other natural treasures. Turning his head around and looking at Vanoss, he curiously asked.
Wildcat: What about the rest, is it for T'challa.
Vanoss: Yeah, I did promise him that I'll help him get stronger. This was the condition for helping us.
Wildcat: That makes sense.
T'challa was indeed very helpful.
Without his help entering the castle would've been a lot harder than originally planned, plus with him, an element of safety was added to their trip so it was only appropriate that he got rewarded for it.
Turning his attention back towards the cabinet, Wildcat asked as he kept slashing it with random weapons from his Noble Phantasm until he gets more irritated on the indestructible Cabinet.
Wildcat: So how are we supposed to break this fucking thing open!
He could one shot a German Panzerkampfwagen Maus Tank in an instant, but he couldn't cut a fucking cabinet!
It felt humiliating for him.
Rolling his eyes, Evan asually said.
Vanoss: Just use your Netherite sword.
Wildcat: Just that?
Shrugging his shoulders, Evan nodded his head.
Vanoss: Yeah, although the glass is durable, your strength and the Netherite Sword's power and capabilities should be enough to cut it. Although it may take some time, it should work.
Taken aback, Wildcat had a weird look on his face until he shook his head, still pissed, then he pulls out his enchanted Netherite sword and channeled his mana into it for more boost in it.
As the white hue around his sword was becoming stronger, turning his attention back to Vanoss, he asked.
Wildcat: Alright, while I do that, what will you do?
Vanoss: I'll open the other stuff.
Wildcat: Okay, you do your thing, I'll call you when I'm done.
Vanoss: Yup, that would be ideal. Once you're done with the cabinet you're on just take whatever you want.
Wildcat: Mhm, will do.
Vanoss: Aight, good luck.
Separating from Wildcat and arriving before another cabinet, Vanoss' attention was instantly drawn towards a pale golden flute that sat in the middle of the cabinet.
A white hue shrouded the flute making it look really impressive.
Vanoss: Hm, maybe I should also gave some gifts to the others once I'm back.
According to the documents Wave gave him, the Artifact in front of him is known as the Flute of Artemis.
Compare to other artifacts, the Flute of Artemis has no exact rank but it depends on the user's rank.
In the description he read, it is an artifact for Beast tamers and has the ability to calm their minds easily and control their emotions.
And that item is perfect for Moo.
Having {Infinite Beast Taming} skill Brock has and using the flute to control the beast's emotions making them vulnerable, it would easy for him to tame beast without weakening them.
Vanoss just couldn't help but imagine Moo has an army of Beasts in his side. Just imagining it makes Vanoss chuckled in delight.
With it, their group, the Banana Bus Squad will be the most strongest group of mercenaries in the lands!
However, there is a drawback on using it, like example a user who is at C-rank, by playing the flute, it only controls the beast reaching at a rank higher than the user, if the beast are two ranks higher than the usee like A-ranks, then the effect of the flute has a difficult time to control the beast, which means the Beast could easily resist the effect.
Vanoss: Alright, enough time-wasting.
Without wasting time, taking out his enchanted Netherite Sword from his inventory, then shrouding it with mana to boose it more, Evan quickly tried to break the cabinet open.
And oh boy it was tedious.
For the next 2-3 minutes or so, tracing his sword around the glass of the cabinet, Vanoss patiently channeled his mana through his sword as he tried to break it open the 2511th time.
It was a long and laborious task but finally, after hearing a slight cracking sound coming from the glass, Vanoss knew that he was almost there.
Not long after the first crack appeared, came the second one and then the third one. Finally, after a couple of seconds, the whole glass shattered as a loud sound resounded across the place.
Without hesitation, as soon as the glass shattered, Vanoss quickly grabbed the flute.
Vanoss: Finally!
Grabbing the flute and staring at it, Vanoss knew that he had finally accomplished one of his goals in coming here.
Vanoss: Is there anything else?
Checking the cabinet, he soon found a couple of other things which he took without hesitation.
Although he wasn't too sure of what they did, he still took them with him and put them in his Inventory.
Vanoss(Thoughts): I'll check them later.
After he made sure that there was nothing else left, clapping his hands together, Evan softly mumbled.
Vanoss: Alright, now that I have the flute it's time I go get what I came here for.
Turning around, his eyes soon paused towards a certain cabinet in the distance where a certain Blue book was being displayed.
Reading the descriptions about each of the treasures according to the documents Wave gave him, compare to the other treasures, this one is his most interesting thing his in.
Without hesitation, he instantly arrived before the cabinet and repeated the same glass-breaking process.
In a similar fashion to before, 2-3 minutes after he started breaking the glass, the sound of glass shattering rang across the place.
Ignoring it, Vanoss quickly grabbed the Blue book from behind the glass.
Vanoss: Yos!
Staring at the book in his hand, his heart beat intensely as he flipped it around and read the skill description.

However, that does not stop him about the capabilities of the skill were something that made anyone want to take it for themselves.
Moreover, this skill added with his other skill, {Everlasting Slash}.
Smiling to himself, Vanoss couldn't help but mutter.

Just the thought of using those two skills together sent chills down his body.
…they perfectly complemented each other.
One skill that boosted the user's speed millions of times for a split second, and another that could cut reality itself.
With it, he doesn't need to worry about opponent's defenses and durability and other possible stuffs.
The possibilities were endless.
Vanoss: I just can't imagine myself to become like that Vergil guy from Devil May Cry. Holy shit!
Then suddenly, he spotted a note in the back of the book, he then checks it.

Opening his eyes slightly, a satisfied smile appeared on Evan's lips.
