Your older brother was always protective. He was usually away at college but he was home to visit. Since you had a boyfriend you wanted them to meet.He has been a little crazy before with your boyfriends but maybe not this time.
Niall was over and you were in your room. "So tell me about your brother." he was on the bed leaning over the side so his head was next to you.
"You'll meet him soon enough, his name is Matt." you looked over and saw those piercing blue eyes so you gave him a kiss.
Someone was knocking at the front door. Your parents were already there letting him in. "Mum, Dad, Y/N, and I don't know you." you all got hugs expect Niall.
"Matt this is Niall. He is my boyfriend." you made them shake hands you had to force their hands up but eventually they shook hands. What a great start.
"Hi Niall." yep a really good start.
Dinner went by slow everyone was quiet. After you and Niall went to your room to talk. You both were on the bed and your door was open because that was the rule.
"Well your brother hates me." Yep but you weren't telling him that.
"No he is just getting to know you." yeah that too. "Besides it does not have to like you. I love you he can't change that."
That might not have been best moment to give him a kiss. Just as you and Niall started to kiss Matt walked by.
"WHAT THE HELL?" looking in your room was a very angry Matt.
"I swear to god it is not what you think!" jumping to defend yourself.
"BULLSHIT! C'mon Niall you're leaving." grabbing Niall's shirt and dragging him.
"C'mon I swear it is not like that." Niall tried to tell Matt but he was not stopping.
"Yeah right you're still leaving." he was not going to let go.
Now your parents were watching they weren't going to stop him. And soon like Matt said Niall was gone. That does not mean he left he stayed at the door knocking. But Matt was watching that door, no way was he letting Niall back in.
Soon you heard Niall pull away. Mad at your stupid older brother you went to your room. You tried calling Niall but he was not answering. Great.
"Knock, Knock," Matt was at the door.
"Go away." no way you wanted to see or talk to after that.
"No. I'm coming in anyway." wow lack of privacy with him. "Sorry about Niall."
Wow, "You had no idea what we were going."
"I do know what it looked like and most of the time when someone says 'it is not what you think' most of the time it is what you think." yeah but not this time.
"Yeah most the time just not this time."
"Maybe not but still you're my little sister I have to protect you."
"I know but still you have to hear my side before you assume anything." we were not going anything.
"Fine whatever I'll give him a chance without you to talk to him."
"Sure that's better." pulling out your phone, maybe Niall will pick up this time.
Yep, "Niall, hey."
"I'm sorry."
"Not your fault, anyway Matt is willing to get to know you but I won't be allowed to be there."
"Why? I would be freaked out."
"Please just try. You'll be here."
"Okay, for you. When?"
"Tomorrow. I love you, but I gotta go."
Matt looked at you, "So he agreed." you nodded. "Great and its here. Maybe he can explain things."
The next day Niall was over early and you spent most the sitting around the living room. Around noon Matt showed up and kicked you out and they got to lunch.
When you were finally allowed back in you dragged Niall to your room. "Tell me everything that happened."
"Not much he got to know me and he heard what I had to say about yesterday. And he does not hate me. Just protective of his sister. Since I love her he is on me."
"So he won't go weird again?"
"No he will and I quote 'if you hurt her or do her wrong' so yeah I don't think so."
