Chapter 7: The Tour of Avengers Mansion & The Interruption

The Avengers, along with the Spider-Clan, continue to walk down the hallways of the Avengers Mansion. There are statues of each heroes. The statues are replicas of the real people in every detail. Spider-Earth also seen a statue of her son, Peter Parker, in a typical heroic pose, which made her and the heroes next to her chuckle in amusement. Interestingly, there's one that includes Gaea's daughter, Teresa Parker.

Spider-Earth is rather intrigued by this. Because, from what she remembered, Teresa Parker isn't a member of the Superhero Community. So why is a statue of her daughter being made? Nonetheless, Spider-Earth is proud of her son and daughter. She then turns her head to Steve Rogers, and said WW2 veteran, knowing what she's curious about, answers her question.

Steve: It's because Teresa, though not a member of the Superhero Community, is a great ally and friend to many. We even considered her as family. Though she didn't want a statue of her, the statue was made nonetheless for us to remember her. Even in our final moments.

Artemis: Teresa earned my respect the day she and Peter saved me, and my hunters, from Atlas. I admit she would've been a great huntress, but I let her decide her own path and chose to respect that.

MJ: I remember when Pete introduced me to Teresa. It's very shocking to say the least. But me and Teresa get to know one another and became friends. I chose her as my number 1 babysitter, Artemis being the number 2, because she likes kids, JD (Jessica Drew) being number 3, ya know how she is with Gerry, 65 Gwen being the number 4, and Sif being number 5.

Sif rolls her eyes.

Sif: I believed that you chose me to be the number 5 babysitter because of me being a War Goddess. Feeling as though my violence is a bit much for the kids.

MJ rolls her eyes and mock glares at Sif.

MJ: The reason why is because of your badassery and willingness to protect children. Besides, you and Artemis are 2 badass goddesses from different pantheons that care about kids. Speaking of which, I do remember Artemis helped midwifing me, even after I gave birth to Mayday, Benjy, April, and Richie. Y'all should've seen Teresa with my kids, it was hilarious.

Miles: Oh yeah, like when we saw her with markers on her face (causing everyone to laugh, especially those who were there when it happened).

Spider-Earth let out a subtle sad smile, happy for the fact that Teresa and Peter are loved by many. Like late husband, Richard, along with the late Ben and May. As they continue to walk, they see other heroes, including Kamala Khan, Amadeus Cho, America Chavez, Monica Rambeau, Lana Baumgarden, aka Bombshell, Flash Thompson, aka Agent Anti-Venom, Riri Williams, aka Ironheart, and, surprisingly, Medusa, the Queen of the Inhumans, along with her king, Black Bolt. Spider-Earth blinked in surprise upon seeing the King and Queen of the Inhumans. Like the Mutants, or Homo Superior, Gaea is fine with the presence of the Inhumans, or Inhomo Supremis, on her planet, as long as they don't cause any trouble.

But then, all of a sudden, she heard clanging sound. Spider-Earth turns her head to see a bomb! An orange bomb that looks like a....pumpkin? She widens her eyes, she knew what kind of bomb that is and who is belongs to. She alerts the other heroes to get out of the way.

Spider-Earth: GET OUT OF THE WAY! NOW (She shoots a web at the bomb and sends it flying to the sky as it lets out a green explosion.)!

After the explosion died down, Spider-Earth then heard the sound of an engine. An all too familiar engine. Then, out of the explosion, Green Goblin shows up with a new goblin glider, letting out an maniacal laugh. Spider-Earth frozed dead in her tracks at the sight of the Green Goblin. This is the man, no, not the man, the monster who hurt Peter in every way possible, just to bring him down to his level.

The Goblin then sees Spider-Earth and let's out a bigger grin on his face as he heads towards her while Spider-Earth and the other heroes are distracted. Spider-Earth finds herself being rammed by the Green Goblin's glider as she grips her hands on the front of the new goblin glider. Both Green Goblin and Spider-Earth rammed through walls, breaking some as Green Goblin jumps off his glider, landing in front of Spider-Earth, who's face is one the ground. Still having that maniacal grin, Goblin grabs another pumpkin bomb and throws it at Spider-Earth. But Spider-Earth, seeing the pumpkin bomb, jumps away and lands on safer ground as the pumpkin bomb explodes.

Spider-Man: No Way Home: No Good Deed: full

Green Goblin: So this is the famous Spider-Earth. Been looking forward to fighting you.

Spider-Earth: And be assured, I'm more rougher than Spider-Man. You'll find that I'm challenging than he is.

Green Goblin: And what makes you think that you're more "rougher" than Parker?

Spider-Earth widens her eyes in shock and horror. How did he know? And how long did he knew that her son is Spider-Man? Spider-Earth clenches her hands in anger and glares at the bastard who hurt her son in the worst ways possible. She then asks Goblin with anger and gritting teeth.

Spider-Earth: How. Did. You. Know?

Green Goblin let's out another maniacal laugh and gives her his answer.

Green Goblin: Simple. Been following him around long enough to find out.

Spider-Earth let's out an roar of anger as she charges at Green Goblin with blinding speed as they both collided to an Avengers Mansion wall. And things are not going well for the other heroes. Each of the heroes own villains to the mansion and attacked them, such as Loki, Hobgoblin, Electro, Red Skull, and others including the recently escaped Juggernaut, Rhino, and Scorpion. Meanwhile, Spider-Earth and Green Goblin battle it out as Spider-Earth shoots a web at Goblin, but he grabs it and swings it, making Spider-Earth crash to a glass door. Goblin grabs her, but Spider-Earth shoots her webs at the ceiling and pushed down with enough force, sending them both falling down by one floor, smashing into Goblin as they landed.

Spider-Earth gives Goblin a punch in the face as she tries to swing away to regroup with the other heroes, but Goblin grabbed her leg and pulled her back down, punching Spider-Earth as he threw her through a wall into a corridor as she got up. Goblin approached again, taunting Spider-Earth.

Green Goblin: Strong enough to have it all.

Spider-Earth throws some debris at Goblin, but he breaks the debris in half. Spider-Earth throws a punch, but Goblin then grabs Spider-Earth by the shoulders as Goblin turned around with Spider-Earth.

Green Goblin: TOO WEAK TO TAKE IT!

Goblin punches Spider-Earth in the gut, sending her flying across the hallway. Spider-Earth gets back on her feet and runs at Goblin as she jumps on him, wrapping her legs around as she repeatedly punches him in the face. Goblin only grins as Spider-Earth stops and Goblin laughs. Spider-Earth yelled at she repeatedly hits Goblin, the man moving before slamming her through the floor to the hallway below. Goblin walks away as Spider-Earth gets back on her feet.

But Juggernaut showed up, bursting through a wall and grabs her.

Juggernaut: THIS IS PAYBACK FOR EARLIER, DOLL!

Juggernaut throws Spider-Earth and charges at her. But his charging is interfered as Hercules tackles Juggernaut to another area, away from Spider-Earth as Goblin now arrives and grabs Spider-Earth. He lifts her up and slams Spider-Earth to the ceiling before smashing her down into the floor again, the two of them fell through the floor, smashing every story on the way down to the lobby of the Mansion. They collapse into the lobby, where the other heroes face the other villains. Skaar against Rhino, Thor against Electro, Tony Stark against Iron Monger, aka Obadiah Stane, Captain America against Red Skull, Sif against Loki, Miles against Hobgoblin, Hercules against Juggernaut, Artemis against the Minotaur, etc. Goblin then grabs Spider-Earth by the neck, choking her.

Green Goblin: You're weakness is morality. It's choking you! (With a demented look in his eyes and grins down at the struggling Spider-Earth) Can't you feel it? (Let's out a bigger grin, clearly planing something) Let's see who you are behind that mask.

Goblin then grabs Spider-Earth's mask, revealing it to be Mary Fitzpatrick Parker, mother of Peter and Teresa Parker and wife of the late Richard Parker. Goblin blinks in surprise as this, but grins nonetheless.

Green Goblin: Been a long time, Mary Fitzpatrick. Though you were dead.

Goblin then raises his fist and punches Spider-Earth, but she dodged it as she kicked Goblin, sending him flying and crashing to a wall. Goblin gets up and taunts Spider-Earth with a certain part of her past.

Green Goblin: So tell me, Mary. How did it feel, knowing that Richard died in the plane crash while you survived? Did it hurt, watching him die in front of you?

Spider-Earth roars in rage at what Goblin said and charges at him, but Goblin quickly gets on his glider. He then turns to her and throws another pumpkin bomb, sending her flying to a wall. Goblin grins at Spider-Earth.

Goblin: Mary, Mary, Mary. No good deed goes unpunished. You can thank me later. And when Peter comes back, we're gonna have a hell of a time. Rest assured, we'll meet again. But for now, we'll wait for round 2. And that'll happen when your son returns.

Goblin flies away as the other villains retreated, though reluctantly. The other heroes panted, clearly exhausted from their fight with the villains. Spider-Earth collapses to floor and breathes heavily, her fight with Green Goblin has taken a toll on her. Something she hadn't felt in a very long time. Since her last fight with her brother, Chthon.

After she recovers from her exhaustion, Spider-Earth gets up and turns to the other heroes. They heard what Green Goblin said to her and they need some answers. Spider-Earth sighs, knowing that this is gonna take a while. Aside from Thor and the Spider-Clan, none one else knows that she, Mary Fitzpatrick Parker, is the Elder Goddess of the Earth, Gaea. Spider-Earth let's out a soft breath as she glances at the other heroes.

Spider-Earth: I guess I should explain myself about this.

The rest of the heroes nodded. But Captain America said otherwise.

Captain America: We'll wait for you to explain once things settle down. For now, we're gonna rest.

Artemis: Me and Herc will return to Olympus for now. But don't worry, we'll regroup with you.

Sif: I must return to Asgard for now. I'll return when I know that Mary explains herself.

Captain America nods, accepting their words.

Captain America: The rest of y'all need some sleep from all of this.

The other heroes, including Spider-Earth, nodded, knowing that this is a day not like any other, so far. Spider-Earth rubs her forehead, wondering how she's gonna explain this to the others.

A/N: So, what do you think?
