Karen opened her eyes wide. A mix of surprise and fear appeared in her eyes, and her face turned pale.
The man extended her hand and tried to grab her neck, but suddenly, a necklace on Karen's neck lit up.

A mana barrier appeared around her and stopped the man's attack.
The man, however, did not seem surprised by that. Without changing his expression, he raised his fist and swung it down!
*BAM!*
*CRACK!*
With just the first punch of the man, the barrier cracked.
Man 1: Hehe, 4th tier magic barrier, how weak.
With another punch, the barrier gets a second crack.
Skyler: Young miss!
Skyler panicked. She tried to rush towards Karen again, but the man she was fighting against attacked her fiercely. It was obvious he did not want to defeat Skyler but just to stall her.
However, his strategy was effective. While Skyler was busy defending against the second man's attacks, the other man punched the barrier again!
The punch shook the surroundings and multiplied the cracks on Karen's barrier.

But at that moment, Skyler recalled the pair standing behind the man and an idea occurred her.

Instantly, the attention of all the people fighting was directed to the three members of the Dupe Group.

With a flash of light, his enchanted Netherite sword slashed down.
The assassin facing him snorted coldly. He evaded Marcel's slash and leaned his body forward. He then grabbed another dagger from his waist and threw it towards him.
'25% probability of throwing a dagger.' That thought appeared briefly in Marcel's mind, but it was quickly replaced by new information.
Marcel rotated the handle of his sword and changed the direction of the slash. He then took another step forward, closing the distance between the assassin and him, and ignoring the flying dagger.
But before the dagger could touch him, his body leaned aside, avoiding it narrowly.
His Netherite sword, on the other hand, was already in front of the assassin.
The assassin did not panic. It could feel Basically's mana fluctuations and knew he was at the <C> rank, just like him. The assassin was confident in defeating most opponents in his same rank.
Calmly, he raised his dagger to block the sword. At the same time, his other hand went to the belt on his waist to take another dagger.

Because what he did wasn't him who did all the fight.

Meanwhile Moo already killed his opponent same with Delirious, Brock then turn to another direction as he narrowed his eyes. Now that the three had been forced to fight, they would fight to the end.
Kicking the ground, Marcel covered the distance between the man and him and swung his sword towards his arm.
The man could only stop attacking Karen to defend against Marcel's Diamond sword.

But Marcel was unfazed, because he knew what he is planning or because of his newly found skill he suddenly got.
Moo suddenly appeared beside Marcel. He took out an enchanted shield, stopping the man's punch, but the force of the punch manage to push Brock several feet back.
Moo(Thoughts): Holy fuck! He is strong!!
At the same time, Delirious, jump above the two readying his two machetes to cut towards the man's neck.
Delirious: Don't forget about me, you fucker!
Delirious shouted psychopathically.
The man widened his eyes in surprise. Without hesitation, he moved his head back, but his movement created an opening for Marcel, according to the Auto-pilot's calculation.
Taking advantage of that opportunity, Marcel crouched down and jumped towards the man.
Basically(Monarch Indifference effect): Checkmate.
But then, the situation changed again.
In Marcel's perception, a man suddenly appeared.
The man moved quickly. In an instant, he had appeared before Marcel and raised a glowing shield.
*Clank!*
For an instant, the shield stopped Marcel's Netherite sword.
But then, the saber continued moving forward slowly.
???: Oh?
The man was surprised, but he did not panic. He let go of the shield and grabbed his companion for the neck. Before the enchanted Netherite sword could reach him, he jumped away onto a roof with his companion.
???: Fall back.
The newcomer said to the other assassin fighting against Skyler.
Man 1: Understood.
The assassin nodded. Before Skyler could react, he jumped back and disappeared into the crowd.
Then {Monarch Indifference} effects finally wores off, finishing its task.
Moo: Marcel, are you okay?
Basically: I don't know, I think I have just—
No one second later, the three suddenly felt a terrifying presence flying towards them.
???: Who dares to touch my daughter!?!?!?
