We are on our way to the Volturi right now. The wolfsbane have finally started leaving my system thanks to the IV I was hocked too. While I sat there trying to rest and forget what happened, I could tell Rose and Jasper are curious to know why we are coming here.
"So are you going to tell us how you know of the Volturi?" Rose asked. I look over at her and chuckle.
"Nah. I think I will wait for you to be see why." I tell her.
Jackson and Jasmine come over and cuddle into me.
"Momma are we going where I think we are?" Jackson asked.
"Yes baby. We are." I tell him.
Both kids smile and cuddle into my further. The longer we fly the more I think about what has happened to me.
If Paul didn't get there when he did, would Caleb have actually raped me? What did I do to deserve this? He said it was Bella who told him where I was. I don't get it. My breathing starts picking up the more I think about what has happened.
"Mom?" Rose says pulling me back into reality.
"Yes sweetie?" I asked.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
"No. No I am not. Everything that happened. What could have happened. If Paul wasn't there. I-I-I don't know what I would've done. On top of that, when he attacked me, he mentioned that Bella told him what I was and where I would be at the right time. This was all planned. She did this but why? Because I do not think she belongs in this world of supernaturals? Like I just do not get it." I say.
Jasper comes over and sits in front of my since we are in a private jet.
"Mom I will do whatever I can to figure this out. Especially since I just found out Alice has been lying to me. It's hard to tell what else has been going on that we don't know about."
I just nod my head and lean back against the seat.
"What did you do with him by the way?" I asked.
"You don't want to know that answer. Just know he's alive...for now." He says with a smirk.
I take this opportunity to rest. I drank some blood to help speed up my healing process and then got some sleep since we still had a while to go.
Today something didn't feel right. I didn't know what but I didn't have a good feeling about it. As I was leaving my office Edward pushed me against the wall.
"I am heading towards Volterra today and you are coming with me."
"Why do I have to go? I'm staying here." I said to him. Looking into Edward's eyes, there's a new look in them. Nothing but evil.
"Because if you don't go, I will tell them about Athena and have her killed. You know the Volturi don't like people who are more powerful than them." He says.
He lets me go and I head to my room. A while later he comes back in.
"Alice had a vision of Bella jumping off a cliff but doesn't know if she's dead. However she heard from the pack that Athena died. She was attacked and didn't make it." Edward says sadly.
"Why are you sad over that? I should be the one sad! YOU TOOK ME FROM MY MATE AND THREATENED HER LIFE!! It doesn't even matter now because she is dead. ARE YOU HAPPY NOW EDWARD?! HUH? I let you push this coven around and it has fallen apart because of you. Stay the hell away from me. I'm going to the Volturi myself." I said walking away and plan my trip to the kings. I will either join them again or just die.
I never should've left her or Jasmine. I should've fought Edward harder. Then I would've had my mate alive.
As I was getting ready to leave Edward stopped me.
"I'm coming with you. I tried calling Bella's house and whoever answered said they were planning a funeral. I guess Bella is dead too." He says.
I don't even respond. I just walk out the door thinking about the love of my life and how I barely got any time with her.
I'm so sorry Athena.
When we finally land, I wake the kids up so we can get going. As we walked off the jet, I see Demetri and Felix. As soon as the kids saw them they squealed and took off running.
"DEME!! FE FE!!" Both kids yelled jumping into their arms.
"Hey kiddos." Felix says to them. Both boys make their way over once they sit the kids down.
"Momma omega. It's wonderful to see you again. We've missed you." Demetri says hugging me.
"Hello my sweet boys." I say to them giving them each a kiss on the cheek.
I turn around and see a shocked Jasper and Rose. I couldn't help but giggle. Soon Jasper snapped out of his shock and motioned for Felix to follow him.
Suddenly both boys come around the jet carrying a passed out Caleb. Fucking asshole.
We get loaded up and head to the kings now.
"Are you going to tell us now?" Rose asked.
"Nope" I say smiling. Everyone shakes their head at me and chuckle.
After we finally arrive, other guards come and take care of our luggage. I follow Demetri and Felix with Jasmine on my left and Jackson on my right. Jasper and Rose are behind me. As the double doors open to the throne room, everyone in their turns to us. Demetri and Felix step out of the way and I can't help but smile.
Caius stands up and makes his way towards us. I sense Rose and Jasper stiffen not knowing what's about to happen. When Caius gets to me he looks down at the kids and back at me.
I smiled brightly at him.
"Hello daughter."
"Hi papa" I whisper out and throw myself into his arms.
I couldn't help but cry into his arms after everything that has happened to me. After a few minutes, I pull away and he wipes my tears away and kisses my forehead causing me to smile. When we pull away the kids look up at him smiling too.
"And hello to you too my grandchildren" he says squatting down at the kids hug him tightly.
I step aside and turn to Aro and Marcus.
"Uncle Aro, Uncle Marcus, it's wonderful seeing you again. Although I wish it were under better circumstances." I say.
"Hello my dear niece. And yes I would agree. Mind sharing?" Uncle Aro asks.
I reach my hand out and place it in his. I show him everything from the time Carlisle left, the dream, Caleb attacking, issues with Bella, Jasper finding his real mate, and my theory of Edward, Alice and Bella.
When Uncle Aro pulls away he can't help but growl.
"My my. That is a lot to take in." He says.
"What is it brother." Uncle Marcus says.
"It seems we have 2 vampires and a human trying to destroy Athena and her family for no reason. What ever shall we do." Uncle Aro says.
I smirk at him and place my hand back in his and show him some of the visions I've allowed myself to see.
He smirks at me.
"Dear Athena..if I didn't know, I'd say you really are Caius's daughter with that plan. Why don't you and the kids go clean up. You after all are the princesses and prince of the Volturi. Wouldn't want to treat you any less." He says.
We then leave and get dressed into our more formal wear.
"So you've known about them this whole time?" Jasper asked.
"Yes I have. I just haven't said anything because I didn't want a target in me from vampires that are out for revenge. But seems as though I have some already like that." I said.
The rest of the evening we relaxed and enjoyed the stay in. I texted Sam how I was doing better and to let him know we made it. He then informed me of Harry dying and of Bella trying to kill herself. Uhg of fucking course.
