Walking down the cobble stone path, you hum to yourself, playing with the basket hanging on your arm. You hum happily, thinking about all the things you are going to do on your date with your boyfriend. A smile appearing on your face as the famous Madrigal house comes into view. You walk quicker, a small blush on your face as your mind runs wild.
Would Carlos want to cuddle? Or he'd take you to the river again. Or go on a walk around the village. Or you guys could bake together. Your heart beats quickly, as heat reaches your face. You raise a hand to your cheek, feeling your heated cheeks. You squeal quietly to yourself, having your head. You huff, a smile on your lips as you gaze lovingly at the house. Taking a deep breath to calm your erratic heart. Raising a hand to knock on the door, casita opens the door for you. You giggle, walking in.
"Gracias Casita" you gently say as Casita nudges you with the tiles to a made staircase. You laugh, nodding and heading to the stairs.
"Okay okay Castia, I'm going" You giggle as casita's tiles clap in excitement. a small smile is on your face as you reach the top of the stairs. You are met with the glowing door of your boyfriend, his scowl etched onto the door. You smile walking to the door. You wrap your hand around the doorknob, opening the door quietly. You slip into his room.
You walk into the room, hearing two masculine voices talking. You hum, walking towards his small staircase to his bed. You walk up the staircase, the voices get louder and you being able to hear what they are saying. One voice of your boyfriend and the other of your boyfriend's twin brother. You stop near the open doorway, leaning against the wall waiting for them to stop talking.
"Could I ask you a..." Camilo says, laying on his brother's bed as Carlos fixes is hair in his mirror, "personal question." Carlos hums a yes, not paying attention to what his brother is asking and more to what his hair looks like. Camilo hums, sitting up and looking at his brother.
"How do you deal with (Y/N) being so..." Camilo says, going quiet to find the right words before looking back towards his brother, "clingy." Carlos stops messing with his hair for a minute before going back.

"No not like that... Like do you feel comfortable with them being so clingy" Camilo says, huffing as Carlo turns to him. Carlos walks to him, slipping his maroon ruana on.

Your eyes widen, your ears dropping immediately. You turn quickly, rushing down the steps, keeping your steps quiet to not alert the boys. Tears brim in your eyes as your vision becomes blurry. You rush out of Carlos' room, rushing down the steps as Casita tries to push you back.
"No casita" you whimper out, your facade slowly breaking hearing the words form your boyfriend. Casita stops, as you rush out of the madrigal house, tears falling from your cheeks.

Through the next few days, you've made sure not to be so clingy. So needy. Shaking your head, you smile lightly as Carlos struts up to you, a smirk present on his face instead of a scowl. He laughs, leaning against the wall next to your family's stand.
"You should have seen the kids' faces" Carlos laughs out, looking towards you with love in his eyes. You smile back, nodding for him to continue.
"They got so scared when I changed into my tio Bruno" he says, leaning towards you. He gets his face close to yours, his eyes hooded as his smirk widens slightly. You blink up at him, a blush prominent on your face. Carlos leans in for a kiss before you turn away, laughing slightly as a customer comes up to the stand.
"I - I'm sure it was funny, amor" your soft spoken voice says, turning your attention to the villager. Carlos huffs, a worry settling in his heart. Why didn't you kiss him like you usually do? Carlos shrugs it off, thinking nothing of it. Carlos watches you give the villager their fruits before you turn back to him with a smile. Carlos' heart melts, a small dopey smile rests on his lips.
"Say mi cielo, let's get out of here" Carlos says, his voice sweet as honey. You look at him, a blush coming on your face as you turn away.
"I would love to, but..." you say softly trying to produce an excuse" mi mami needs help at home with mi sister!" Carlos looks at you with a raised brow. You chuckle sheepishly as closing your family's tans s people leave the market. Carlos nods, leaning in to give a peck on the lips, his eyes hooded as love and admiration fills them. He waves bye, watching you walk towards your home. As soon as you're out of sight, his smile drops, his relaxed posture grows tense. He sighs, an overwhelming feeling of dread and regret fills him, but he has no idea why he is feeling this way. He turns on his heel, walking towards his home.
Opening the door to Casita, Carlos makes a beeline to his twin's room. He bursts the door open, making the younger jump and look wide eyed at Carlos.
"THE HELL" Camilo yells, as he watches his brother shut the door and storm over to him. A scowl on his face as Camilo looks at him confused. Carlos leans in, getting in his brother's face, a sneer resting on his face.
"What the hell did you tell (Y/N)" Carlos sneers out as Camilo leans back his face filled with confusion.
"wh - what" Camilo breathes out, not hearing his brother. He blinks at him, confusion written all over his face.
"I didn't tell them anything" Camilo states, as Carlos blinks at him not believing him in the slightest.
"Then tell me why they're avoiding me and not wanting to do anything with me" Carlos says, his eyes judgmental as Camilo blinks wearily at Carlos. Camilo laughs breathlessly not believing anything.
"I didn't do shit. Maybe they've just grown tired of you" Camilo states, smirking up at his brother. Carlos blinks, dread filling his body. All his anger disappearing as his breathing begins to pick up. Carlos quickly turns, meeting the eyes of his older sister.
Dolores smiles softly at Carlos, before glaring at Camilo. Carlos' mind races with everything he could have done wrong to make you grow tired. He knows he can be an asshole and a dick. He knows he isn't the best boyfriend out there, but he'd do anything to make you smile. Even ruining his pride. Dolores snaps her brother out of his thoughts as she looks down at him.
"Go talk to them, hermano" Dolores says softly. Carlos nods, rushing out of his brother's room and to your house. Camilo sits up on his bed, still trying to process what just happened. He looks towards his sister who sits next to him.
"What did they hear" Camilo asks, worry for his brother evident in his voice. Dolores looks at the door, a distant look on her face.
"Do you remember when you asked Carlos about how he felt with them being clingy" Dolores asks, looking towards Camilo who nods. She gulps, a sorrowful look on her face.
"Well, they heard that entire conversation"

Your face was smushed into your pillow, tears falling from your eyes. You sniffle, curling your body into the pillow as you let your tears fall. You let out a small sob, biting your lip to not worry your parents.
Did he really think you were clingy? Did he get uncomfortable by all the affection you seeked. Was it that terrible for him?
You let out a pitiful sob into your pillow closing your eyes tightly. A knock on your window fills the silent air. You sniffle, raising your head from the pillow. Another knock rounded through the room. You place the pillow to the side, standing up as your bare feet hit the cold floor. You slowly walk to the window, rubbing your puffy eyes, You open the window, looking down to see your boyfriend raining his arm to throw another rock. You gape at the boy who's breathing heavily, worry on his face. His hair disheveled as he looked up towards you.
"(Y/N) I'm sorry for whatever i did for you to ignore me! Please don't leave me" he begs out, desperation in his voice. You blink at him, your heart beating happily at your significant other. You look around your room before looking back down at him.
"Y - You didn't do anything wrong" you say loud enough for him to hear. Carlos blinks at you, confusion on his face.
"I'm sorry for being too clingy. I don't mean to make you uncomfortable" you say, as Carlos gapes at you, not believing you. You look down at him sadly as he shakes his head quickly.
"But you don't make me uncomfortable!" He says proudly, looking up at you desperately. " I love your clinginess and i yearn for it every day" he says, tears falling from his eyes as his voice wavered. You whimper, tears falling from your eyes as well. You turn on your heel, rushing down stairs and opening the back door. You rush out, tackling the boy who quickly wrapped his arms around you. You let out a sob, gripping onto his ruana as he holds you just as tightly back. You sniffle, your lip wobbling.
"Then why did you say you were uncomfortable" You whimper in this shoulder as Carlos keeps you close. He swallows, breathing you in.
"It was a joke mi cielo" Carlos whispers, pulling away and cupping your cheeks. His face adoring a lovesick smile as tears fall from his red-brown eyes. He wipes your tears away with his thumb.
"Amo todo de tí" he whispers s your lip wobbles nodding. He smiles, pulling you back into his chest, his chin resting on your head.
"I'd do anything to stay with you" he whispers, kissing the top of your head as both your cries quiet. You Take a deep breath, gripping his ruana.
"Could we...snuggle" you whisper out making the boy smile happily, picking you up and walking back into your house.
