3RD PERSON

Friday morning had long gone made it from around the corner and was now knocking on everyone's front door. It was time for Trinity to go back to campus just for her class and then she would be right back with hoseok for the weekend.

She was contemplating going or not. It would be a bunch of back and forth but she needed to attend class because she wanted to increase her chances of making auditions for the fall showcase.

She hadn't told hoseok about it since her birthday celebrations took up most of their time. They were always either sleeping, sleeping around, cuddling, eating or spending time with others so that didn't have much downtime for talking.

Once it was time for her to pack up, she made sure she grabbed Yanna's cake and got situated in the car before they started their short journey to the campus.

"You okay, beautiful?" Hoseok asked, squeezing her thigh which he had been gripping since they started the ride.

"I'm fine." Trinity said, adjusting how she held the cake.

"You just being really quiet. Scaring me." Hoseok chuckled. Trinity shook her head, pushing a strand of her straightened hair behind her ear.

"I'm sorry. It's just that auditions for an upcoming fall showcase is approaching and I would really love to go out for it. I guess I'm just thinking too deep on wether or not I'll make the cut or not."

"You shouldn't stress it. You're a beautiful dancer, I know you have this in the bag." Hoseok said.

"It's not as easy as it sounds. My dance teacher is really strict and made it clear that even one minor mistake will get you cut just like that." Trinity sighed.

"If you think about it too much you end up failing. Just breathe." He waited for her to take a deep breath. "And relax. Pace yourself. I know it's not easy but it'll be much better to get by if you calm down baby girl."

Trinity nodded. He was right. He was always right.

"Will you come? If Im in the showcase?" She asked softly, looking over at him. Her bright brown eyes gleaming with hope.

"What? Of course I'll come. I'll get a front row seat and bring you flowers. I'll even wear a shirt that says 'my girlfriend is performing'."

"Oh goodness no." Trinity laughed at his silliness, playfully slapping his hand away. Hoseok smirked as they caught the interstate.

"Im serious. I'll get our picture on there too."

"That's too much." Trinity giggle. Hoseok shrugged.

"No it's not. It's too less, if im being honest. But imma do all that."

Of course he wouldn't wear the shirt if she didn't want him to but it was funny to think about. He just wanted to put a smile on her beautiful face and remind her that she was brilliant and talented. She had this in the bag and doubting herself would only push her further away from success. She had a bad habit of underestimating what she could do and hoseok didn't like that.

"I'll practice efficiently." Trinity said.

She didn't say she would practice hard because that meant overworking herself. But practicing efficiently so that she paced herself but still got to where she needed to be was a better choice of wording.

"That's my girl." Hoseok said, his prideful smile never leaving his face.

______

Trinity didn't want to part from Hoseok but it was only for a few more hours and then she would be right back with him.

Her class started in another hour or so. So after they said see you later, he went off to handle some "business" and Trinity went to get ready for her class.

Yanna was getting ready to leave once Trinity entered their dorm room.

The girl stood in the body length mirror putting on small hoop earrings. Trinity placed her cake on the bed.

"Hey Yanna." She greeted.

"Hey trin, how was your birthday?"

"It was fun. I got my tats, ate some cake and spent time with friends and family. It was cool." Trinity said, taking off her purse.

"Did you bring my cake? My stomach has literally been crying for it." Yanna said dramatically.

"Yeah girl it's right over there on your bed." Trinity sighed, pulling out a pair of leggings.

"Oh you're a life saver. Thanks." Yanna said appreciatively, puffing up her hair a bit before turning to actually face trinity.

"No problem. You going to class?"

"Yeah. And later on I'm going to work. You'll be gone once I get back." Yanna said.

"I know...I wish I could pack you up and take you with me." Trinity joked. Yanna laughed nervously and rubbed her arm.

"Hehe...gosh you're so weird...hehe." She mumbled.

Trinity kissed her teeth. She grabbed her clothes and went towards the door. "Whatever. I'm gonna go change." She said.

"Okay. I'm gonna stuff my face with cake." Yanna said, which is exactly what Trinity expected to hear.

"Don't choke." Trinity said. "I'll try not to and damn these pieces are fat. Lord..." Yanna licked over her lips like a starved animal before tearing into the cake.

______

"Jimin pass me his shoes." Michelle sighed as she adjusted Uriah's little socks on his feet.

Jimin swiftly picks up the tiny Nike tennis shoes and reached them to Michelle before brushing his hair back on his head.

"Thank you." Michelle mumbled as she placed the shoes on Uri's feet. He occupied himself by blowing little spit bubbles and making noises at his mother, causing her to laugh on occasion at his goofiness as she got him dressed.

Today they would be visiting Jimin's father. Jimin and Michelle rarely had time to do so since they were occupied by their work and their son.

But any downtime they got was spent with their friends and family if they had the energy to go out for it. And today was the perfect day to bring Uriah over and see his grandpa.

Soon, Mr.Park had his surgery. It wasn't anything major but it was still a surgery nonetheless. So they wanted to get some time in with him before the weekend came which is when he surgery was scheduled.

"I packed his bag. He has a few bottles made, wipes, diapers, pacifiers, powder, lotion...I'm missing something." Jimin mumbled.

"His brush." Michelle giggled.

"Right. His brush...and his bib. Baby you forgot to mention his bib." Jimin said as he went to fetch Uriah's brush and about two bibs.

Michelle shook her head and lifted Uriah on her hip. "Your daddy is crazy." She said to the almost six month old who only gave her a toothless, gummy smile in return.

Once Jimin came back they got everything together and made sure everything was in place before locking up and leaving the house. With Uriah strapped in his car seat in the back, and the parents settled in in the front, they were ready to go see Mr.Park.

He was doing amazing in his spacious, nice ass apartment. His home caretaker was a nice, middle aged Hispanic woman. She was always looking after him and extremely nice to Uriah. Whenever the parents left him with them, she helped Mr.Park with him.

Even though Mr.Park had a few health complications he was still very able. He could move around could, lift a couple of heavy things, eat a lot of stuff etc. but still she was very helpful with what he couldn't do.

"I hope family feud is on once we get there."'Michelle mumbled as she scrolled on her phone.

Jimin chuckled. "Family feud...you sound old. It's givinggggg grandma." He said.

"Boy-" Michelle mushed his face as they stopped at a stop sign.

"And you givinggggg drunk homeless uncle with that big ass shirt on. Fuck outta here." She insulted right back.

"You givingggg tweety bird with them big ass lashes on."

"And you givingggg need to pay attention at the road while you looking at my fine ass." Michelle said, waving him off before going back to her phone.

"I sure am. And what?" He asked, licking over his lips. Michelle's face heated up. She hated when he got all flirty in the middle of joking because now she was worked up.

"Our son's in the car and we on the way to your pops house... let's recycle this same energy later when we alone." Michelle said. Jimin laughed.

"I'll hold you to that, gorgeous." He said.

Once they made it to Mr.Parks's place, they got Uriah and his bag from the car (well it was more like Jimin holding Uriah and Uriah's bag as Michelle held her purse and knocked on the door).

The door was opened seconds later by the caretaker. Her name was Miss Alma. She had long brown hair and the prettiest brown eyes. She wasn't required to wear scrubs or anything. She wore regular clothes, a bright smile grazing her features once she seen the small family.

"Ahh, Park! Your children arrived!" She joked, calling out to Jimin's father as she stepped to the side and allowed them in.

"Hey Miss Alma." Jimin greets her with a hug and kiss on the cheek. "Hey." Michelle greets, briefly smiling at the woman as the door was closed behind them.

"Hello my loves. And hello to you, little man." She cooed, gently taking Uriah who was reaching for her out of Jimin's arms.

"Look at you. Hair is just growing and growing." Miss Alma laughed, playing around in his curls.

"Do you plan on cutting it, Mimi?" She asked Michelle. Michelle hummed.

"I don't know... I love how long it is but I know if I cut its it'll just grow back longer. What do you think?"

"I think you should wait awhile and give it a little trim. You're right, it's just going to grow back longer and longer. My grandson's hair was the exact same. He's four now and hair is just as long as can be." She laughed.

"Okay well that's what I'll do then." Michelle said.

"He's sitting on the couch watching game shows. Just ate not too long ago." Miss Alma said.

"I have Uri. You guys can go and chat." She said.

"Okay. We appreciate that." Jimin nodded and walked towards the living room.

His father was sitting back on the couch with a cola bottle in hand as he watched "America Says".

Michelle and Jimin sat next to him on the couch.

"Hey son." Mr.Park greets happily. "Hey my darling." He says to Michelle.

"What's up pops." Jimin sighed, leaning back on the couch and spreading his legs a bit to get comfortable.

"Ahh same ol' same ol'. Me and Miss Alma went grocery shopping yesterday and The Kims sent me some cake." He said. He and Mr.Kim were really close friends, by the way. Mr.Park adored the family as well.

"That's cool." Jimin said. Michelle became engrossed in the show as the father and son conversed.

"Actually though, I'm glad you came today. I been meaning to talk to you about something. You too Michelle."

Michelle raised a brow and so did Jimin as they watched the man.

"It's about the shop." Mr.Park said.

"Oh god no." Michelle said, already assuming the worst.

"Oh no it's nothing bad. In fact, I'm sure it's quite beneficial for the both of you." Mr.Park cleared his throat.

"As we all know I no longer work in my shop. I can't get around like I used to so it's mostly been you in there." He gestures towards Jimin.

"I looked into my savings. I have a plenty saved and I was thinking that's it's about time we make the shop yours." Mr.Park said.

Jimin leaned up, folding his hands as he looked at his father.

"Are you serious?" He asked.

"Damn right I am." Mr.Park said.

"But that's not...huh?" Jimin shook his head, trying to process everything.

"It makes since. You're doing a damned good job to say it's mostly you doing everything. Nothing but outstanding reviews about you. I see the improvement from when you started working by your old man's side at just 13. You're a man now and you deserve The responsibility, the credit and the title as the owner."

Michelle smiled happily. She was grateful for Jimin that mr park was doing this. Jimin loved that shop, he was holding on to everything in it for the sake of his dad but also for himself, his childhood and Sanity.

This would be amazing for them, their family and their future.

"So what I'm gonna do is help you out with making over the shop. And while we do that, we need to focus on rebuilding up clientele and promoting more. We can do it. You can do this, son. Get your name out there." Mr.Park said, a slight cough following behind his words.

Michelle gently touched his shoulder. She couldn't help but feel a bit nervous when he coughed because she knew it could easily escalate.

"Thank you pops. It means everything to me." Jimin said sincerely, touching his heart as Alma rounded the corner with baby Uriah playing in her hair.

"Ahh don't thank me. Just make me, Michelle and Uri proud." Mr.Park chuckled as Uriah was placed in his arms. Alma sat in the recliner and watched them all fondly.

Michelle made eye contact with Jimin briefly. Both of them smiling, the love strong between them.

She was proud of him. She could feel the shop making a huge comeback, and she was grateful that Jimin had received the opportunity to make it big and own his own business.

She was always on his side. Now all she had to do was do her part, finish school and get her own shop. She couldn't wait to unlock new doors for herself, give her son the perfect life and childhood she never had and make her man and loved ones/supporters happy.

It would make her feel complete.

______

"I think the problem is that you feel this shit is timeless. I need to set some boundaries." Hoseok said as he sat before Hanseo.

He was beaten down at this point. He could barely hold his head high. He was starving, bruised up and at this point he was a dead man living...if that even made sense.

Hoseok was losing that desire to keep him here more and more. Now, he honestly just wanted a few answers and after that a bullet would fly through Hanseo's head.

He realized that he was being a little too lenient. Hanseo felt as if he didn't have a limit. As if hoseok would keep him here. But that wasn't the case anymore. Hoseok hadn't that type of time or patience anymore.

"So here's what's going to happen." Hoseok said.

"I'll give you forty eight hours. I'll visit tomorrow for the first half of that, and the day after for the second half. Within those forty eight hours, you give me answers. And by the end of that time..." Hoseok didn't even finish his sentence. Hanseo should've known already where he was going with this.

Hanseo didn't even react. Hoseok kept a blank expression. He had no more tears to cry. He couldn't find it in himself to feel sorry anymore.

He realized that sparing people and being nice caused for even greater failures in life. He had already took too many loses this year. He wouldn't let Hanseo get the best of him.

He was sick of having this man as a problem. He needed to rid himself of him for good. He needed to wipe him off the map, get him off the grid and move on with things.

He still had Sik to work with, The Kendrick's to worry about, money to be made and business deals to seal.

Hanseo was a wheeling lowlife tugging the strings on him to hold him back.

"Are you fucking stupid now or what?" Hoseok scoffed, noticing how Hanseo was breathing and blinking but not speaking.

"I don't feel bad for you. I don't regret doing this to you." Hoseok reassured him, standing up from the chair and stretching his limbs.

"You may or may not eat tonight. The decision is no longer up to me. It's up to them." Hoseok nodded towards the men he had lined up around the room, on watch.

"They can be a bit mean...sorry about that." Of course he wasn't really sorry.

He sighed, walking towards the door where Rico stood smoking a cigarette. They needed to speak once they left this.

"Good night." Hoseok mumbled.

The door was opened. He and Rico stepped out to speak. Hoseok left a piece of himself in there like he always did. But it wasn't anything major. He has to admit that this has become a part of his routine and he couldn't help but leave something behind everytime he left.

Hoseok didn't want to be like this. But it was essential. He knew the amount of hearts it would break had the owners knew of his sinister ways. But if they knew that he had been getting pushed towards this point for months - years, then they would understand.

He didn't owe anyone an explanation. The person who was owed anything in all of this was him. It was a fact.

Forty eight hours.

Hopefully, he got more than just another kill out of this...
